- X1315CLmaryn0 contributionsWonderful tourExcellent tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable, funny and went out of her way to make sure we experienced everything possible. We encourage everyone to experience Yellowstone this way!Written October 6, 2024
- tracybI3605IH0 contributionsElk, bison, bubbling cauldrons and a moose family!First experience visiting Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Our guide, Chance, worked very hard to find us wildlife and knew all the spots to look. He was also very knowledgeable on all the terrain and the fascinating history of the area. Wonderful experience that I shared with my mom!Written October 6, 2024
- Connector252987989390 contributionsWonderful TourThis is the first time I have gone to the Great Tetons. It was a five hour trip. Our guide's name is Dan. I have to say. This was the highlight of my visit to this national park, because Dan was absolutely fabulous. I really wanted to see moose very badly, and I saw them twice. The company is very lucky to have him. He knows so much about everything and provides humor and laughs and education. I can't say enough about him. We had a fabulous time, and I will always remember it!Written October 2, 2024
- lorram2490 contributionsAmazing Tour - Must Do!The views were amazing! The conversation was great. Jeff was very personable and by the end of the trip, we knew him and other customers very well. A lot of great tidbits about Grand Tetons and extras would could see, outside of the trip with him. It's a must! Thanks, Jeff, for a great experience!Written September 30, 2024
- kischlisa19570 contributionsAMAZING Yellowstone by bus tour!My husband and I went on a 12 hr day tour. Our guides were Jeff and Tracy. From the moment we took our seats we were pampered. My husband is tall and we were able to take seats at the back of the bus and he was comfortable. After we took our seats here comes Tracy with cold bottled water and a delicious HOT breakfast burrito. There were 16 of us on the bus and Jeff was able to keep us informed and fit our needs of shopping, bathroom stops, animals and breathtaking sights. Jeff kept a banter that was full of humor, fun filled facts, interesting park facts and engaged each of us on the bus. A well balanced lunch was served and very good. Cold water was always available. Our guides knew where to take us to see the wildlife. Jeff was always willing to back up or complete U-turns so we could all get the pictures we needed. This is appreciated as I had friends who visited Yellowstone a few weeks earlier and they didn't hire a guide. I also want to add as we left Jackson Hole we saw two Moose in the river we checked out the night before. Jeff, we also saw a Moose grazing on the mountain on our way home! I just had to share this! Thanks for giving us a heads-up on where to look. I highly recommend using Yellowstone Tours. I have always said the BEST or WORST advertisement is word of mouth! I will always sing Yellowstone Day Tours praise. Thanks for helping us see an amazing part of this world God created. Tom and Lisa KischWritten September 22, 2024
- hollysL2000SA0 contributionsOnce in a life time tour with plenty of wildlife and knowledge tour guideWow! Dan was an incredible tour guide. If you have the chance, ask for Dan specifically. He was so knowledgeable and has such a passion for Yellowstone and Grand Teton. This trip was really to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and I am so happy we booked this tour. We saw moose, bear, bison and even pronghorn antelope sparring. We saw all the highlights of Yellowstone while getting a robust history of the park. The day was long but Dan kept us entertained the whole time, I didn’t want it to end! The views the entire day were spectacular and Dan knew all the best spots for photos. Every question we had, Dan knew the answer. I cannot recommend this tour enough!Written September 19, 2024
- Passport036470239660 contributionsAmazing scenery and wildlifeThis was a fantastic tour. The scenery is beautiful and we got to see moose, bison, antelope and other wildlife. Our tour guide Jeff was fantastic and was the perfect tour guide. Highly recommend this tour.Written September 17, 2024
- unclG0 contributionsOne full day was enough. The views were amazing, even though it was a rainy day. Our guide Jeff was terrific. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and satisfied. The day started off with a good breakfast on the way to the Parks. He guided us to the 5 star restrooms which we appreciated. During the course of the day, we saw everything we had hoped to see. We would highly recommend this tour.Written September 16, 2024
- johnsF8058ZT0 contributionsChance the Excellent Tour Guide. Our excellent tour guide, Chance, was knowledgeable and informative. He knew where the animals were for excellent photos. He knew the history of the park and was patient with all of us. He knew where the flush potties were, also!Written September 15, 2024

- mkcdks0 contributionsSunset tour in Jackson Hole/YellowstoneThis excursion was fantastic. Our guide (Kimberly) was one of the best guides we ever had. She spoke from experience and honesty. She showed us so much and went out of her way to answer questions. We highly recommend this trip. It was well worth it!!!Written September 14, 2024
- Destination57070 contributionsIntroduction to the TetonsVery nice introduction to the park with much information provided. Sierra was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We would use her as a guide again. One thing to consider is that it can be difficult to hear the guide speaking if you are in the back row of the van. Especially if you don’t have great hearing like a lot of senior citizens.Written September 13, 2024
- 281peggye0 contributionsDefinitely a highlight of our trip to Jackson HoleThe tour exceeded our expectations! Ed was a fantastic guide who shared lots of historical information about the various sights we saw. We lucked out on some wildlife sightings too which were enhanced by the scope he carried and the binoculars we were provided.Written September 12, 2024
- reneeb5490 contributionsPerfect dayHad an amazing day with Ben our guide, touring Grand Teton and the lower loop of Yellowstone. Ben was a wealth of information and fun facts. It would have taken us days on our own to see what we were shown in one day! We were even able to see a Grizzley mama and her cub eating a dead bison. There were wolves, an eagle and several other birds looking to join in on dinner. We had a fabulous day. Highly recommend Ben!!Written September 12, 2024
- B2743MEalexi0 contributionsWonderful trip!We did a private tour of Yellowstone and grand Teton with my husband and two children. Our tour guide Dan was WONDERFUL and focused on finding wildlife which was such an incredible experience. The entire 12 hour tour was unforgettable!Written September 10, 2024

Fantastic tour and day at Yellowstone. Our lower loop tour departed from West Yellowstone. Our tour guide James was one of the best tour guides we have ever had and we have traveled extensively. James was so knowledgeable and experienced about the history of Yellowstone, the geothermal features, animals and ecosystem. What impressed us the most was his sincere desire to make this a great experience for us.
The itinerary was perfect. We started at Canyon Lodge which had a great visitor center showing the volcanic structure of Yellowstone. James knew the most strategic order of the sites to see...when animals would be most present and when the crowds would be the lightest at high traffic sites like Old Faithful. We were offered delicious pastries for breakfast, water and had a plentiful picnic lunch on beautiful Yellowstone Lake which was such a highlight. Air conditioned van was comfortable and binoculars were provided.
I also want to commend the office staff and company. We spoke with Brian before the trip who was so helpful with what we would see on the tour and what we may want to do on our own. We also received a prompt refund for the entrance fees including in our tour fees since we had a park pass. The refund was processed wthin three days of the tour without us even having to ask.
Highly recommend Yellowstone Day Tours!

My 85yr. Old mother (it was her actual birthday) and I had THE most amazing
time touring with *Yellowstone Day Tours*. They picked us up on time at our
lodge. From the moment we met our guide, *Nick Flanik*, we were impressed.
He was not only a gentleman but super accommodating and helpful with mom.
He continued to impress us all day with is knowledge of the park, the
animals, the trees and natural in general. It was evident that after
entering the park that something was going on. The water levels were
alarming and roads began to close but Nick stayed calm. Collected
information from his colleagues when ever we had cell phone reception and
continued on to experience the whole south loop. We saw Old Faithful, the
grand Prismatic Spring, the upper and lower falls. When Nick was informed
that the whole park was being evacuated he continued on safely by tweaking
his usual path and didn’t miss a beat finding look out points, bathroom
breaks, animals; progrhorns, elk, Bison and even a wolf, we saw a little
too much of the Bison when they took over the road going in both directions
adding over an hour to the trip. It was a spectacular interruption,
Can not say enough good things about our excursion with them. In fact, we
are doing the sunset Grand Teton tour with them tonight!
(Mrs. Flanik, you should be very proud of the young man you raised,)

2 words - THE BEST!. Our group experienced so much more than advertised in the listing. Our glorious guide "Clara" made sure we got to see everything everyone wanted to see including Prismatic Basin, West Thumb, Norris Basin, a great lunch at Lake Vlllage, the Falls, Grand Canyon, and of course delivered us to Old Faithful right on time for an eruption. Clara made each person on the tour feel special to her. I travel alone a lot and have been on numerous tours and Clara is by far the best guide I have ever had. She even had a temperature gauge that we all got to use in the basins. She deserves a raise! I personally increased my knowledge of the park by going on this tour. Thanks for this tour and thank you again Clara!!! Big fan!

The tour was great; we were with a lovely family group from Arizona and our guide Ben N. did a great job of sharing the most interesting tidbits about YNP as we drove through the park. He also set the day up by telling us what to expect, what we should hope to see and ensured we took requisite breaks in between (even stopped at a cafe when we asked about coffee!). If it's your first time to Yellowstone, it's a great way to get comfortable with the park and locations (we went back for another two days on our own and felt well prepared to do so because of this tour).

The tour was fantastic and we saw everything we wanted. Shane made the tour unforgettable with his knowledge of the park and its history. He also went above and beyond with my six year old granddaughter fielding her questions and exuberant attitude.
We truly appreciate Shane and the tour! Great experience!

I got an unbelievable tour and experience with Ben. He has been doing this for 35+ years and it really shows! His endless knowledge and enthusiasm for the park, not to mention his humor, made this a tour to remember. The tour itself was very well planned and coordinated, which is tough when covering so many places and such a large amount of land. We did get in 15 minutes late, but we can blame the bison traffic jams for that!
Would 110% recommend Ben and Yellowstone Day Tours, especially if you have limited time like I did to see the big name sites.

Fantastic tour and Luke did a great job providing history and information of the area. Frequent stops with opportunities for pictures. Will definitely recommend the bus tour to friends. While the time was limited at each stop, we saw many things that we wouldn’t have seen if we were driving ourselves and having to deal with traffic and parking, plus we learned a lot. We were only in the park 2 days and the upper and lower loup tours made the best use of our time. Well worth it.

one of the most relaxing tours we have taken. Clara was always making sure that the decisions of the day were up to the paying guests. There was not one stop that wasn't as amazing as the next. Clara was super knowledgeable and very excited about Yellowstone.

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide was able to accommodate all ages from 6-70 and hold their attention. He knew all the perfect photo ops (the angle, the settings, etc) a lot of history, and a lot about the wildlife-geology-plants. The more I travel, the more I appreciate guided tours such as this. We have done Yellowstone before but having a guide makes all the difference to know what can be skipped and what can not. (Or what you would waste your time on such as missing a recent bear sighting, so no need to stand around for a few more hours; or the ol’ faithful eruption time). We want to come back for the northern loop!

Hello, how many people typically would be on this tour? What type of vehicle is typically used? Thanks

It was a small tour van, and held my husband and I, along with a family of 3 adults and 2 kids (totalling 7 passengers and 1 tour driver). We had ample space in the van as we each had backpacks and jackets. Hope that helps!
