I booked the hunt as a fun surprise for my boyfriend and we had such a great time our host MaryAnna was so amazing she was so entertaining and really made our experience even better. Even though it was virtual (not a probable at all super cool idea!) we both felt that our guide was so present. We had so much fun completing the hunt and exploring the city we will definitely be doing this again and check out the other city hunts 🫶

this was not a scavenger hunt. It was more of getting weird prompts to do around the city. Waste of money. There were no clues or anything of the sort.

Lots of fun! Even if you’ve been to Door County a few times, this scavenger hunt introduced us to some hidden gems we’d never seen before! A friend and I did this scavenger hunt instead of the wine trolley the rest of our group was doing. At first I was a little skeptical because it isn’t in a traditional scavenger hunt format- you are given all of the locations/ challenges up front and it isn’t clue based. But that ended up being perfect! We could choose what we wanted to do and when. And we didn’t feel rushed. We could be super competitive and try to get as many points as possible in the two hours, or we could take it easy and check out all the places we went to. I also liked that if you wanted to keep going after the two hours, you can. If you are doing this scavenger hunt in a place with bad cell service (like parts of Door County) make sure to download What’s App before you go if you don’t already have it. What’s App is how the remote guide/ point tallier/ cheerleader communicates with you. I would definitely do this again- there are a few in cities close to where I live so I might be checking those out soon!

This activity is unlike anything we had done before. It took us off guard to play such a unique game! This hunt gave us the chance to be challenged to find local spots, let our inner child have fun and crack up with each other. I would highly recommend this activity to those who want to try something new, get a little silly and overall enjoy each others time together. It was my mom, boyfriend and self and we absolutely loved it. We created videos for most of our “missions” and now we’ll be able to look back in those videos and memories we made.

Was good to have an objective while visiting the town rather than walking around aimlessly. Had cute dates to get us out of our comfort zone and get lots of pictures to have from our trip

Great time in Helen, GA. Excellent communications prior to and during the scavenger hunt. Instructions were clear and we started on time. We visited places we did not know existed and met a lot of interesting and friendly people, including two very engaging librarians. We look forward to another hunt in another location as we travel.

Had a great time doing the Groovy Geneva scavenger hunt. Learned about some great new places to visit in Geneva, while having a great time doing it.

Such a fun way to spend the afternoon having an adventure with your family. Highly recommend for families that want to experience Frankenmuth in a new way.

This was fun! Occasionally uncomfortable, often hilarious, and a great way to spend a couple of hours getting to know Provincetown. The facilitators were good and kept us engaged. I highly recommend it if you are in a new place and want to have fun exploring.

This is not a traditional scavenger hunt. You need to be tec savvy. We expected clues to take us places around Hyannis but instead got a variety of tasks to choose from which seemed very generic. Later we learned that this company operates these hunts in 600 locations so naturally they are not tailored to the area. Very disappointed.

It was a great time getting to explore somewhere new. Enjoyed it very much. It took us to many different spots and had us talking to many different people.

Love the online - start-when-you-want format. My wife and I appreciated the different places to go, the very cool and informative merchants we met along the way, and the things we got to see. Lots of fun!

While we loved the concept of doing a scavenger hunt through Portland to see the sites, this experience under delivered. We knew there wouldn’t be anyone physically with us but had anticipated more interaction as we went from spot to spot. Instead, we were sent a pdf doc via canva (???) a few minutes before the game started, which contained all of the missions together. We were instructed to snap pics via WhatsApp as we completed a task. It was a pain to keep going back and forth between WhatsApp and canvas to navigate the game—why not make it like a real scavenger hunt and sent us one clue at a time? When we sent a pic, we received very generic responses like “good job” or an emoji, which made us wonder if it was just a bot replying to us. We were told the missions were in geographical order but they weren’t, so we were zig zagging back and forth throughout the town. We liked the exercise, but it seemed pretty disorganized. The missions themselves were mid. In one location, we were told to find the cat that resides there only to learn that this cat died 4 years ago-has this thing been updated?! Another location was closed when we arrived. We didn’t receive any background info about what we were looking for so we didn’t really learn anything about the city along the way. After 2 hours, the “game” sort of ended. The bot host congratulated us on earning 5 million points and then asked if we’d like to leave a tip. Wha?! After spending $100 for a family of four to read through a slide deck of half-assed missions, the only tip I would leave is — you can do better. We still managed to have a good time because it’s vacation and we made the very most of it. We celebrated earning our millions of points with a tasty lobster roll.

This adventure sounded so fun however you need to be a bit tech savvy and be on instagram and WhatsApp. Unfortunately I am an elderly adult female that is somewhat tech savvy but not on instagram, Snapchat, or anything like this except Facebook where I follow a few friends but seldom post. The description indicated all we needed was a smartphone which I have. We arrived 15 minutes early for the adventure and 45 minutes later with help from the virtual guide we still were unable to upload a selfie or begin the adventure. A more in depth description of what is necessary to participate should be included in the adventure information.
