About the operator
- 760ljones00Loved every part!Great tour guide instructor-segway ride was awesome! Art tour provided KC culture and very informative!!
- rjloug00Pleasant SurpriseKyle was our guide and he did a great job. He's knowledgeable and just a down to earth good guy. We had a short practice session and, at first, wondered if we were actually ready to hit the pavement. To our surprise, we were ready and we enjoyed every minute of it. We highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do something fun and unusual.
- Richardfromphx00Strolling around the cityGreat experience very patiencent understanding instructors with older, senior citizens. Lots of history insights given on the tour.
- johnmS5456ZU00Great time!We went on the Kansas City museum, parks and history tour with our teenaged grandchildren. We had a wonderful time. April and Kyle did a great job! They trained us well, made sure we navigated safely and gave us a lot of great KC history. We’d be happy to take another tour.
- las388800Great KC excursion! This was a great excursion while in KC visiting relatives. We have been to KC many times but saw and learned things that we’d never experienced. Kyle was a great guide, very courteous and professional, but fun too! We felt like we were in good hands. We were trained thoroughly on how to use the segways, everybody felt comfortable after that. Would have liked to see the Plaza, but it wasn’t included on our tour, and the timing for the Plaza tours weren’t great for us. But still very fun and interesting, many cool things to see!
- MrM2U200Amazing and fun tourWe've lived in KC for quite some time but still learned a bunch of new facts about various places on the tour. Was great fun.
- HPMacy00Our Second KC Segway TourMy youngest daughter and I had done the art tour before so we knew some would be repeat but my oldest daughter and boyfriend enjoyed. The second half took us down by the waterway, plaza, fountains, park, and surrounding areas. Kyle did a great job sharing stories.
- peggy31300Highly recommendWe went on a segway tour with our family and really enjoyed it. Seeing parts of the city we were not familiar with was a lot of fun. Kyle was a great guide, teaching us how to safely ride and sharing his knowledge with us.
- JKruse202300Enjoyed tourWas an educational and enjoyable activity. Never being on a Segway previously.. this added another aspect that was definitely unique and fun.
- Tuna5421300More fun than I thought it would be!Guide was very knowledgeable and really enjoys what he does. Got to see some of what KC has to offer in a fun way. Kids really enjoyed it.
- 4morleys00Segway tour, arts, fountains and fun!Was one of the best highlights of our trip. Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable. Felt very safe on the Segway, was wierd at first but got used to it quickly. Lots of fun! Excellent job! Thanks for a great day! (even though it was cold) cheers from Canada!
- louann202200Fantastic, relaxing way to explore the city!If you love learning fun facts, seeing lots of natural beauty and being able to see a lot without tiring your feet from waking, the KC Bike & Stroll Segway Tours are for you! My friends leaned quickly how to ride and this is one of those experiences that I love to go back to with visitors to learn more about the city and explore in a fun & easy way! Fantastic guides who are knowledgeable and welcoming!
- EricaK105000Outstanding Tour! What a wonderful way to see the Nelson Atkins and Kemper Museum grounds in addition to the Plaza, Brush Creek, Kaufman Gardens and Westport. Our guide Patrick was very thorough and patient in training us on using the Segways. He was really knowledgeable about the history of what we saw and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time!
- dklabenes00Wonderful tour!Enjoyed our tour of several arts and a couple fountains! Kyle was a great instructor to teach us how to use the Segway, which was really fun!! We would like to take another tour to see more of the city.
- HeidiAPM00Art on WheelsLove how much you can see in how little time on a segway and we frequrently do tours. Very hot day but our guide supplied us with cold water before, during, and after our trip. Had great stories to share and covered the whole art district. Would happily go again on another tour with them!

The tour was a lot of fun! We caught on to driving the Segways pretty quickly and had a blast with them. Kyle was very knowledgable and a good tour guide. We would have liked to explore down at the Plaza more. We were anticipating that we would actually spend time down there, but we really just toured the art stuff, and that was it - though we really enjoyed that. Making the tour maybe an hour longer or so would have gone a long way. All in all, we would definitely do it again and would recommend it.

We had a great time! Our initial nervousness about operating a Segway went away quickly as Kyle and Patrick gave us some quick instructions and allowed us to ride in a safe parking lot before we started. Soon we were zipping down sidewalks and crossing busy streets with confidence, and visiting several interesting art museums and outdoor displays. A fantastic experience. And we're in our mid-50s, definitely the oldest people in our tour group - so I'd say this tour was appropriate for everyone.

As a first time Segway rider, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but upon arrival our tour guide Kyle was very nice and knowledgeable. After a short lesson and instruction, he let us practice in the nearby parking lot, which was not only helpful but very fun! It was easy to learn and we all felt very comfortable with it pretty quickly. Kyle was a great tour guide and we all had so much fun! We got to see many museums and art sculptures as well as beautiful garden scenery throughout the entire tour. I definitely recommend giving this tour your business because it was a great time!

My wife and I took a tour around the KC Art Institute, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and the Nelson Art Museum area with Joey. We had lots of fun and Joey was a great guide. He is a student of art and told us a lot about the history of the area's art institutions as well as how to appreciate modern art. He was great. The segways are super easy to learn and fun to ride. Highly recommended tour!

Segway are the BEST way to see an area. Kyle was our guide. He lead us around the local art a day museums and gave a lot of fact about each museum. He was a very good Segway guide keeping us safe as we negotiated the sidewalk and street intersection. if you are in Kansas city we highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time seeing the Kansas City Art Institute, Kauffman Memorial Garden, and perusing the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art from a Segway. We got the hang of it pretty quickly with the good training we had right before we ventured out. Thank you to our wonderful tour guide, Kyle!!!

We added this tour after discovering their great ratings - so glad we did. This tour is focused on safety, clear communication and gives lots of interesting historical information about the art side of Kansas City. Especially when the tour goes through Nelson Atkins and the Kaufmann Memorial Gardens, this tour is truly idyllic. Kyle does an outstanding job. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I took this tour on a Saturday afternoon and had a blast! It was her favorite thing we did all weekend. Kyle is awesome – considerate, attentive, patient and personable – all must-haves when you’re the Segway trainer and tour guide.
Segways look way harder to ride than they are. We learned how and were comfortable on them in about 5 minutes. My daughter went from being pretty intimidated to having fun right away. The tour lets you explore some really cool places, too – I’d highly recommend this tour!

Is there a minimum age and can the Segway accommodate a 10 year old?
Could the Segway handle a 300 LB person?

I would definitely contact the tour operator regarding weight limitations.
