- williampE2169UZ0 contributionsFunny, entertaining, memorable! So much fun and so many laughs! A friend and I the chance to act out some lines and will forever remember the experience. A must see!Written September 14, 2024
- Meander100460400520 contributionsWonderful must seeOne of the best country shows in Branson. Singers are wonderful, friendly, and a joy to be around. We will definitely be going yo the Christmas show. Thank you for a wonderful evening.Written September 10, 2024
- 1950cherie0 contributionsTalented Singers! We had the best seats in the house - front and center row! We enjoyed the cast who all did a great job except we couldn't hear "Carl Perkins" that well. We thought it was nice that "Elvis" and "Jerry Lee Lewis" greeted the guests after show as they were leaving. We would recommend this show except for the food. It was not very hot and I would only give the food 2 stars,Written September 7, 2024
- 268jca0 contributionsGood Show, Bad FoodThe show was funny and enjoyable. The food was pretty bad and we didn't even get it all. The chicken was dry and the pulled pork was as well. The cake was very good and so was the lemonade. We never got the potato soup even after asking for it and my dad and I were served about 15 minutes before my mom. I know people don't go for the food, they go for the show, but if the food is going to be that bad, they might as well just do the show and no food. I recommend you eat before you go as the only thing on the plate I really found edible was the mashed potatoes. BUT the show was definitely cute and fun.Written September 7, 2024
- 45marsham0 contributionsGreat entertainment and dinnerThe show was family friendly and entertaining. Audience participation added a lot. Worth seeing! The food was excellent.Written September 6, 2024
- davidvY6278QD0 contributionsGreat performance below average foodThe performance was awesome but the food was not very good. I don’t recommend the food but very comical play. You might want to eat ahead of time.Written September 5, 2024
- Geni W0 contributionsGood show, great food! The show was entertaining, the food was delicious! Only complaint would be that I would have liked a box to bring home the food that I couldn’t eat (there was soooo much food). I didn’t see the boxes until it was too late. They cleared my plate and didn’t ask even though I hadn’t even touched the chicken and had half the pork left too. That was the best birthday cake!Written September 4, 2024
- Journey196537339790 contributionsGreat experience!!It was a blast! Actors were ridiculously talented and fun. Crowd was really engaged. A great time was had by all. The food was delicious and the show kept my attention the entire time, which isn't easy to do.Written September 4, 2024
- norms3260 contributionsFun experienceThe show was hilarious!! And the volunteers from the audience played it perfectly. The food was decent. Good BBQ pork and mashed potatoes. The chicken was too dry to enjoy.Written September 3, 2024
- RCDS_Family0 contributionsGreat BandThe BBQ Bash prior to the show was well worth adding on to the show. The food was good, but served lukewarm. We really enjoyed the music. The only negative was the music should have started earlier. It seamed that the was too large of a gap from when the food was served, to when the music started.Written September 3, 2024
- RCDS_Family0 contributionsNice Production ShowThere are a lot of characters taking part in the show. We enjoyed seeing the horses and sheep running by. The only negative was the storyline. It was hard for us to follow along especially with how the characters were related to each other.Written September 3, 2024
- RCDS_Family0 contributionsUndecidedWe are a little undecided about this show. We found it did not have much of a storyline. It was a little too silly for us. The food was good but it was served lukewarm.Written September 3, 2024
- N8648RPbm0 contributionsFun times!Great family fun!! Laugh until your sides hurt!! The bbq sauce is amazing!! Don’t forget the sweet tea! It was the best!!Written September 3, 2024

I cannot recommend this show for the following reasons:
1) It mixed religion with vulgar jokes. At one point hymns were sung and at another a joke was made about a man’s testicles saying that the drunk man did not like the play “The Nutcracker.” Perverse and not family friendly for children.
2) The food was sub-par. Drinks were not filled regularly and the food was dry and not hot. The pie was in a sample little cup and not a real pie.
The food was not that good.
Compared to other dinner shows, this show is overpriced and cannot even compare in quality. We were greatly disappointed. Go get a nice meal elsewhere and go to a real production. Your money will be better spent. We could have almost seen Sight & Sound for the same price but we did not know of the poor quality of the show and food ahead of time.

The food was lacking flavor and was barely warm. The show lacked in entertainment as much as the food lacked in flavor. With your ticket purchase it gave you free entrance to the trail of lights show (a $25 value). Let me just say I felt like we drove through the lights from the 1970s. It was terrible with missing lights in the displays and many were stationary lights.

A spin off the Dicken's Christmas Carol and it was funny and heartwarming featuring their regular cast. The dinner of turkey and sides was surprisingly delicious. All in all a different type of show than is usually offered in Branson.

Seating was excellent with plenty of room to have the dinner included with the show. The dinner was a thanksgiving type dinner with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner role which was outstanding. The show was very entertaining with many different an interesting character performing a similar plot to "Scrooge".

Tonight in row H, (and forward) server was very disinterested. No smile, no welcoming comment. She did not take care to notice, as several forward rows of guests' entrees were missing either the dessert, butters and the poor quality "heel" sliced turkey were served, with a tsp of gravy! Attempted to catch servers attention; nope did not happen. The actors were good. We sell this show's tickets. Thought we would have been more welcomed.

We live in Leavenworth kansas and went down to Branson, also went to the Shepherds of the hills Christmas carol, was the worst experience I have ever had at a dinner theater. I actually feel asleep before intermission. Don't waste your money.

We decided we would come see this every year after seeing it last year and then walking through the light display they had set up. Just a wonderful evening all the way around. Food was wonderful and the story was a nice feel good Christmas story not unlike Christmas Carol but with a twist. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I grew up going to the Shepherd of the Hills play, starting 50 years ago. It took me a while to figure out the characters. The woman next to me was lost, as she had never seen the original play. Maybe old Ollie should have a small synopsis of his background at the beginning of the play to explain the story of childhood at Shepherd of the Hills for the people who are not familiar with the story.

We bought tickets online. Unfortunately, they moved to a new ticketing system that double booked our seats. We were assigned row "E", but ended up in the back, about 15 rows. Less than ideal, especially for my kids who couldn't see as well. But, they did provide us with free mountain coaster and inspiration tower tickets as a "sorry". Too bad, we left the next day and couldn't put them to use. Show was funny, food was as expected, nothing amazing.

Food was horrible. The potato soup looked and tasted not so good.
The rest of the meal had no flavor at all. The only thing that tasted good was the piece of cake. And the ice tea wasn't bad.
I didn't understand the show at all. I couldn't figure out why people were laughing. My husband and I left during the break. I would not recommend anyone to go very disappointed.
