- Bubba-in-Germany0 contributionsInteresting tourThis tour provided a great general overview of the area. Michael was very personable. He provided us with interesting information about the history of Branson. THis is a good tour to take when first arriving in Branson.Written July 30, 2024
- joycebF6276JU0 contributionsSave Your MoneyNot worth the money if you drove to Branson and have your own car to drive around. The trip was 2 1/2 hours and saw very little you couldn’t see on your own. The only thing new and interesting was the College of the Ozarks.Written May 27, 2024
- rodneyb80 contributionsVacation. The tour was average. The person giving the tour did not wear a microphone and he was hard to hear and understand sitting in the back. The bus was very noisy. I would recommend that all guides wear a wireless microphone so people can hear. Also, sitting in the back you could not see anything outsideWritten May 20, 2024

- Rhonda H0 contributionsEnjoying the lights without worrying about driving in a place I’m unfamiliar with. 👍Best money I’ve ever spent, To enjoy the lights without driving around, avoiding other crazy drivers. Tour guide Mike was very informative and a load of fun. Went to the château on the lake, drove through big Cedar Lodge, and the joy of lights. Altogether about three hours. Big Cedar Lodge is beautiful with all the lights. It was nice not having to drive & worry about all the other traffic and pedestrians everywhere!Written December 28, 2023
- F5632LGsharone0 contributionsWorst tour everDo not be deceived, this is more of a hotel bathroom room tour, you will not be going through the Shepard of the hills display, we were dropped off at the first hotel to use the bathroom and see 3 or 4 gingerbread houses, the singers had quit singing, water falls without water, stoped at another hotel and told to use the bathroom if you needed to or not and see another gingerbread house that wasn’t even a gingerbread house, we stopped in the Hilton hotel parking lot to wait 6 minutes for a 5 minute spray of water that couldn’t be seen from the seats on the left side of the bus.Written December 9, 2023
- B3257GMjanetm0 contributionsVIP Christmas Lights Tour - Highly RecommendedThe tour was amazing and so was the driver. Mike was knowledge about places on the tour, and funny! We saw the "best of the best" in lovely Branson. Thank you VIP for a wonderful experience.Written December 7, 2023
- Jet2436890 contributionsTour guide was great!Basically enjoyed our experience! Our driver/tour guide was Mike and he was fantastic! The 4 rating was basically because it was advertised that wine/hot cocoa and bakery good would be served at the end of the tour at a historic Branson Hotel, Backstage and Wine Bar. This did not happen. Did not ruin our experience but just think it should not be advertised that way. Would definitely do this again! Did I say Mike was great!!!Written November 20, 2023
- R967CRtimt0 contributionsGrest View of BransonI recommend this tour when you first arrive to Branson. Michael does a amazing overview on the History and the Lay of the Land. It's so informational that we go every time we visit. One of our favorite parts of the tour is stopping in at the School of the Ozarks. Definitely will do it again. 👍👍Written September 22, 2023

Very knowledgeable and what a sense of humor he has! I would definitely recommend this experience especially if you plan to spend a few days in Branson……. as we were able to see many things that we would not have otherwise! The College of the Ozarks and the Keeter Center and its restaurant inside is a DO NOT MISS! Thank you Michael!Written August 11, 2023

- Brian L0 contributionsVery good experience.First off, Michael, our guide and driver, was excellent! We were greeted warmly as we entered the office, provided hot chocolate and conversation. Tour was very good consisting of the Trail of Lights, Table Rock Dam, Chateau on the Lake, Branson Landing, Joy of Lights, all very good. Joy of Lights was an excellent lighting display and Michael choreographed the music in the Van to the lighting display. All the while, Mike was entertaining us with his knowledge of Branson. Having read some of the other negative reviews, I have no idea what those people are talking about; but some people just need to complain. This was an excellent tour! P.S. Huge fan of the person who writes the replies to the reviews here! Tactfully direct and sarcastic at the same time. Well done!Written December 27, 2022

A friend and I recently did a quick get-away to Branson Missouri we looked at different things to do and wound up picking this as our main item to do because of the great reviews. The reviews made it seem like you learn a lot about Branson, go to three great wineries, and have a really great tour guide walking you through the whole thing... that was NOT our experience. On the day we went they could only do 2 wineries so they substituted a moonshine/whiskey distillery for the third. The first 'winery' was about a minute from the dropoff location and only carried really sweet wines (think Boone's farm) and didn't really have any character or ambience so not the best start (especially since this was 1/2 our wineries). Also the 'tour guide' didn't even come in with us or explain anything about the winery. After that we loaded back on the bus and the driver/tour guide passed out paper for us to circle five wines to try from, no recommendations or talk about the next winery or the town. At the next winery, which was located behind some warehouses - so location odd, and when we got there the 'tour guide' told us to come back on the bus in an hour and again didn't come in or guide our experience. We walked in and unlike the last winery that was completely dead except for our group this one was fairly busy and none of us had any idea what to do, we had no direction at all. So after a few awkward minutes we realized we had to each jostle our own way up to the bar to turn in our sheets. We then had to go find our own seats, I did see that the 5 samples were $10 if you did this on your own. I didn't love any of these wines either but they were significantly better than the first winery and the atmosphere at the winery itself was pretty good. An hour later we loaded up and they took us to the moonshine/distillery, were we got 3 thimble sized samples and a tour. This was the only place we went that had a tour and that actually made their product on site (the others were more just like bars/tasting rooms). So even though I don't like moonshine or whiskey I'd say that was my favorite stop just because I at least learned something there and I feel like that group cared about their product more. Again the 'tour guide' didn't come with us and just rounded us up at time to go. The last part of the night was the dinner, which was good, although again the 'tour guide' didn't come in with us. Overall, I had fun since I went with a friend of mine, and we had some fun people in the group but honestly I wouldn't recommend this 'tour' as its not a tour, you could do the exact same thing just using Uber, as it doesn't include a guide or any education beyond what the places you go provide on their own. I feel for this price point, there should of been an experienced and friendly tour guide with our group... I almost wonder if our actual tour guide was sick that day and they just had the driver take us around. At this price and with these ratings I definitely expected more. Also neither my friend or I cared for any of the wines we tried and neither of us like whiskey/moonshine, I had expected to buy a few bottles but nothing jumped out at us. In retrospect since we only had this one night to do things I wished I'd gotten tickets for one of the local shows instead.

Mike was the driver for this tour. He drives/guides this tour 3 days a week. Same person, same tour, same places, same vehicle. All I can say to readers of the 2 Star review above is, "Read all the other reviews above and below this one." Sometimes you just can't please some people. 😞

Great tour! Joe (our driver and tour guide) was friendly and knowledgeable. We had three great stops on the tour and a fantastic dinner all topped off with a stop at the overlook to watch the sunset over the dam. Highly recommended and will do it again the next time in Branson! Thanks Joe!

Thank you for touring with us and for the review! How I wish I could guarantee a beautiful sunset every evening! I have seen some recently that were simply stunning! If I could guarantee that beauty every time, I could raise the price of the tour considerably! LOL Thank you again! Joe

Highly recommend this event we where treated well at all locations. Our driver Mike took his time, didn't push people along on a time schedule. We returned maybe an hour beyond estimated return but we was allowed to enjoy each location. Turly wil do this again in the future. Both thumbs up.

Thank you so much for the great review about the tour and Mike. We do try to take a slower pace, so guests can relax and unwind a little bit. Then end the evening with a great meal. Truly a great evening! Thank you again!

My wife and I had a fantastic time! First, a shout out to Michael our driver, keeper of the schedule and the protector after some of us were getting tipsy. He was great! The stops were fun and kept getting better as we went. The second stop had us tasting our wine with another couple that became new friends on a gorgeous overlook listening to live music. It was fabulous. The last stop was at a distillery with very knowledgeable staff and I had 140 proof moonshine for the first time in my 61 years. I’m not going to replace my scotch and bourbon with moonshine but it was fun and a very interesting experience to drink. Highly recommended. And the bourbon was to die for so I bought plenty to take back home. The dinner was great as well. My wife enjoyed the experience as well but needed to be careful how much she drank as this becomes a bit much for those who don’t drink much. It was better for her to just taste test but not drink everything given. I will definitely consider doing this again!

Steven, thank you for the 5 Star review and a review that touches on so many points. One of the points you mentioned is about making new friends on the tour. This is one of my favorite things that happens on almost every tour. I give YOU 5 Stars for your review! LOL

We took the VIP Wine Tour yesterday. Mike, the driver and tour guide, did a great job. We stopped at two wineries and a distillery. The Ozark winery was quite good, with a nice selection of wine. The second winery didn’t have as good a selection of wine, but was in a great location at the top of a hill. The Missouri Ridge Distillery was the best stop of the three. A very nice selection of whiskey, rum and moonshine. The single barrel whiskey was was so good, we had to purchase a bottle. When you are in Branson, don’t miss this tour. It finished with a very nice dinner at the Black Oak Tavern. Overall, the best four hours of the week.

Dave, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed and great review. Mike does a great job on all of our tours. Adding Missouri ridge to this tour has been a very positive thing. Will you. We used to do 3 wineries and dinner and dinner. But adding the disillery has added another level of variety that our guests have really enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you for your 5 Star review!

This was a very fun experience for adults. The drive was so fun and we had a great group of folks from different parts of the country.
Each winery was great with nice little bands playing at each. The distillery was a neat place with great spirits and a very knowledgeable moonshiner.
Highly recommend for something different to do in Branson.

Thank you for touring with us and for the 5 Star review! We wish the wineries offered live music every time we visit. But it's normally just on the weekends, and when the weather is appropriate.

By far one of the best activities available in Branson. Got to sample many different wines at three different wineries, meet new people and enjoyed a three-course meal. Would definitely do it again or try one of the other tours offered.

Tasting wine and having a great meal is a big part of this tour, but, you nailed it when you mentioned meeting new people. Watching our guests bond while we're on tour is one of the greatest things about the tour for me, as the owner, driver and guide. We look forward to touring with you again. Hopefully soon! Joe

The nine of us had a wonderful afternoon wine tour and the owner (Joe) let us modify the tour including where we would be eating that evening. The executive limo was comfortable and easily accommodated us. We toured the Lindwedel Winery and Bear Creek. Special note that the flights at both places are generous portions and not something you can hurry through. Mike was our driver and gave us some great information about the wineries and the Branson area. He was very easy going, picked us up on time and made the afternoon worry free! Thanks Joe & Mike.

We thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. The wine tastings were relaxed and generous and while the wine may not have been remarkable the settings exceeded our expectations. The Missouri Ridge Distillery was a highlight even though we are not bourbon/whiskey drinkers - taken right out of an episode of Moonshiners. We were definitely ready for dinner which was more than adequate. Michael, our tour guide, was great throughout.

Tour consisted of stops at Ozark Hills and Lindwedel Wineries and Missouri Ridge Distillery. Ozark Hills had a couple good wines. Cheat Day Chardonnay is a very good unoaked Chardonnay. The Traminette is also very good. Did not care for the Lindwedel wines but several in our party did. They have very healthy pours for the wine flight. Missouri Ridge Distillery had very good products. Do yourself a favor and just plan on getting a bottle of their bourbon. The trip ended with dinner at Black Oak Grill. Food was delicious. However, Michael, our driver made the trip fun. His humor and knowledge of the area was an added bonus to an enjoyable event.

Yes, you will be on a small tour bus and they book many other groups along with you.
We went with a party of 3 and rode with a total of about 12 or so.
