Outstanding in every way. A must see for Titanic history students.
I am a Titanic buff and would have very high standards for this type of museum. I was pleasantly surprised to find how well done this was, and would highly recommend it to anyone. The tasteful way that this was displayed was beautiful and touching.

    A MUST SEE!
Very interesting and well done museum. To see and hear all the passengers life stories was amazing. So very sad how many people lost their lives in this tragedy.

    Interesting
Very informative experience. I liked how they focused on the passengers and really made you think about what they experienced. Nice collection of artifacts. It was a nice follow up for me as I had just been to a musical based on the Titanic. I liked the fact it was self guided with a device to listen to based on where you were. You could spend as much or as little time on each exhibit that you wanted. They also have guides at intervals that you can talk with if you have any questions as well.

    Very immersive
This was a nice museum. I wish there were more artifacts, but the exhibits they had were educational, like how cold it was and you could actually feel it, or how the deck was tilted, etc. The grand staircase replica was nice, too. You really feel like you’re on the ship during that time.

    Wonderful!
Enjoyed it a lot. It was educational and fun for everyone in the family. The additional audio provided was nice - you could listen or not and there were options for both kids and adults. It is better than the traveling version.

    History of the Titantic
My husband and I really enjoyed the museum. We spent about an hour and a half going thru it. While I didn't read EVERYTHING - we did take our time to learn more. The group that came in with us must have been gone in less than 30 minutes as we never saw them again! haha! I loved having the personal card of one of the passengers - and found their name on the wall near the end of the tour - and thankfully was a survivor! I also found the name of a woman passenger from Lexington KY - she also survived! Very little was said about Molly Brown - in fact I just saw her name listed as a survivor. It was interesting to see the model of the ship, the recreation of the famous stairway, and other artifacts. Very sad to see the names of all those who perished - categorized as 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class, etc. I know there have been other traveling versions of Titantic but this is a permanent structure and the building is shaped like the ship.

    AMAZING!
The whole thing was Amazing! The artifacts and pictures tell the story. There was an area that had a tub of water circulating at the temp the water was when it sank so you can put your finger in to feel.

Great way to spend an afternoon.
Our granddaughter read a book about the Titanic last year and she was familiar with the ship and its story. The Museum is very well done. We all learned a lot on our audio tour. So glad we choose to do this.

    Amazing
Wish we could have had more time! We snuck this in between two visits we had scheduled tickets for! It was the 7-year-olds idea, and she was so excited to see the titanic! We would love to go back when the kids are a bit older and have more patience so we can read and listen to everything!

    Very emotional experience
Excellent & very moving displays. Obvious a lot of thought went in to preserving artifacts and respecting those who perished in this catastrophe. Also displays honoring those fortunate to survive.

    Great! depending on the hosts
Our first time going my son was allowed his own private tour remote, which was easy for him to use and kept him engaged throughout the tour, but last time we went they said he was too young (he's six) and couldn't have one. He proceeded to be soooooo bored through the museum that I ended up not listening to mine and just walking through to keep him entertained. I love this museum and hope I don't have the same issue next time.

This is a reading museum- artifacts are from people that owned them but not from the Titanic wreck. I have been to the travelling Titanic museum that had actual artifacts from the wreck and a better replica of the staircase. Newspapers in frames from after the wreck and photos I don't consider Titanic artifacts. I still can't believe I paid over a hubdred dollars for my family to see this place. The staff were very friendly and that was the only positive thing I can say. Total ripoff for anyone who reads what the museum says it has on the website- "over 400 artifacts!? no way!, and then does not deliver. Do not waste your money here.

Just a clarification, most of the artifacts on display are from the Titanic passengers. Our grand staircase was built from the actual Harland & Wolff blue prints including the 18 caret gold on the staircase. At the landing of the grand staircase, the Honor & Glory clock was hand carved. We recreated the third class cabin, the water gate, first class living suite, music gallery, bridge & the promenade deck with the 28 degree salt water our guests can feel, along with the growing iceberg guests can touch. We are the only museum that has a Survivor Wall, which indicates what happened to the 712 Titanic survivors. It took over two years to research this important part of the story. Our Titanic Museum Attraction is an opportunity to get to know the various passengers on the ship. We have been honored to host over 300 Titanic descendants and they all make the same moment - "Thank you for sharing our family story." Our answer, "It is our honor." Thank you for your crew comments they are appreciated. Titanic Museum Crew

We LOVED the Titanic Museum! Our 8 year old son has always loved learning about the Titanic so this was his #1 must-see for our Branson vacation and it did not disappoint! There’s something for everyone, young and old. There are interactive parts that the kiddos loved, like getting to touch an ice berg, getting to dip their hands in freezing water simulating the night Titanic sank. They also have slanted decks that you can walk on to simulate how hard it would have been to walk as the ship sank. All employees/tour guides are dressed in clothing of that time period and are very knowledgeable about the Titanic’s history. Each person gets a boarding pass of a real person who was aboard the Titanic, sharing details of their life, and at the end you will find out if your person survived or tragically died. They had a replica of the grand staircase, different rooms that passengers would have stayed in, etc. Great experience overall. We spent a good two hours in there with three kiddos (ages 8, 4, and 11 months). We could have spent longer had they been a bit older I’m sure.

*Note: if you’re going during COVID-19, they do require masks to be worn while in the museum. Also, no photography inside is allowed.

The Titanic museum is a must see when in the Branson area. We picked a day it was raining to go so it was a bit crowded but people were wearing masks so we felt ok about it.
We spent a good 2 hours in the museum and I really liked the phone type item they give you to hear about all the exhibits. We listened to almost all of the info about the exhibits.
You do not need to buy tickets in advance. I suggest arriving at the museum at least 2 hours before it closes tho so you are not rushing thru.
My favorite part of the museum was the room with the deck of the boat looking out.

The museum content was good. The museum doesn’t allow for or require social distancing because their hallways are narrow and they have giant groups walking through. The giant groups have tour guides that talk very loudly. If you are not part of giant tour group, then you will have a hard time listening to the audio prompts and it’s hard to read and think while those groups are causing a lot of commotion and chatter. It was VERY distracting and diminished what I and my family got out of the museum. It was EXTREMELY rude and almost ruined the whole museum for me. The tour groups came in shortly behind us after we started and the tour guides just kept going at their quickened pace no matter how fast or slow you go. I like to read the information cards and letters and everything; the tour groups barged right through me and my family. If you want to get anything out of this museum call ahead and make sure there aren’t any tour groups scheduled for the day you want to go.

There are many tourest traps in Branson but the Titanic museum is a great value and for Titanic buffs very interesting. The tour is self guided so you can look, explore, and listen at your own pace. Also the audio device that is provided for the tour is easy to use and provides a wealth of information. With many of the attractions in Branson way overpriced the Titanic museum is a welcome two hour diversion. Also the staff are excellent that know their information and add to the experience.

The museum is very solid and has a lot of artifacts. Each person is given a name of a passenger on a card and get to find out if their person was a survivor or not at the end of the tour (and which lifeboat # they made it on).

The staff took each guest's temperature, enforced masks and limited the number of people entering at one time. However, several exhibit areas are small and some are hallways. The social distancing boxes on the floor were not adhered to in the least and the museum quickly became crowded.

There is an optional audio device you can use at spots throughout but we quickly gave up because it was difficult to here over other people and cast members talking.

The Titanic Museum is the sole reason why my boyfriend and I decided to come to Branson. We had seen YouTube videos about it and decided we needed to go. The outside of the building is already amazing, every time we drove past on the main strip we had to stare at the Titanic-shaped building and the fountain at the bottom.
We got there 20 mins before opening and there was already a line forming quickly, so I think it's safe to say they're always busy. We bought out tickets and were handed a boarding pass from a real Titanic survivor and were told to look for their names. Both mine and my boyfriend's passengers survived the wreck.
You also have the option of taking an audio player with you to hear more info on many of the artifacts. In some rooms, they even had music playing from the movie and in another room a staff member playing the piano. It all really added to the atmosphere and the experience, which was wonderful. There was even a small tribute wall for the people on the Ocean Gate expedition.
All of the staff were extremely professional and very friendly. The gift shop had so many things to choose from as well!! Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take photos on the first floor and staff members are not allowed to take your photo for you on the Grand staircase, but we asked another visitor to do that for us.
The Titanic Museum is definitely one of the best museums in the area and well-worth the price, unlike many of the others. We also loved the interactive exhibits such as the cold water, steering wheel, and the angles of the ship. If I ever visit Branson again, this will be one of my first stops and I recommend it to anyone and all my friends. The way everything is set up gives you a wonderful experience that I was not able to get at most of the other places I visited in Branson.

Well, my review is completely opposite of most reviewers. This museum is filled with SOOO MUCH INFORMATION!! Good thing and a bad thing. The listening guide was helpful to a certain extent. I didn't get to listen to the entire guide on the audio player. It is practically impossible to read everything and learn everything about the titanic in one day. I became extremely overwhelmed as there was just too much stuff, info, and people in the museum. iIf you have a short attention span this museum is not for you. If you want your money's worth, you have to stay there all day, go by yourself so you don't have to worry about your family leaving you. I am not sure when is a good time to go to avoid the crowds if you do not like crowds. Some of the facts were interesting, the pictures, and memorabilia was nice. The museum and tourist attractions in Branson are so not worth the price. They do not offer good discount or coupons like Gatlinburg, St. Louis, or other tourist attractions I have been to. I must warn you, they charge an extremely high, unexplainable amount for sales taxes and tourist taxes (2 taxes for 1 transaction). Forget inflation. This is beyond inflation! I am so unhappy with my visit to Branson. I will not support them with any future visit. I really do not see what the hype is about. Looking at all the attraction buildings on the strip (West Highway 76) is more exciting than the 3 museums I visited today (July 13, 2022. I am so disappointed in the attractions for today. See other reviews on Wonder works and The aquarium at the boardwalk. You definitely have to read those. I have spent soooo much money out here and I could have had a disney vacation possibly for cheaper... I am kind of disappointed with myself for spending this kind of money but I wanted the experience, and it was a trip planned for my Mom for her birthday and I just wanted to show her and my sons a good time. She is enjoying herself. Me, not so much. The best thing so far, Butterfly Palace. Review will be posted on that.

With little children, we were not sure if the concept of the Titanic would go over their heads. However, with so many rooms to explore, items to view and guides telling the stories throughout the museum, they were engaged. It is a self-guided tour and we enjoyed the headphones with stories and explanations, with a version for Adults and Children. We each received a card at the entrance with the name of a passenger, this was the best part of connecting us to the lives and experience of the travelers on the Titanic. We would look for our person's name in various areas. We tested our hands in the freezing water well to see who in our group was the toughest! We each picked out special souvenirs and continue to talk about the historical experience we had!

We spent some time touring this museum which does a great job telling the story of
the Titanic. At the start of the tour you are given the name & story of one of the passengers and at the end, you find out if your person survived or was lost at sea. There aren't a lot of actual artifacts, mostly pictures but what they have is very interesting. It would be nice if they had some more hands on items for the kids - our 9 & 5 year olds got bored fairly quickly. But it's a great museum - go take a tour!
