    Amazing river tour!
Will tell my friends about this one. Super fun and interesting, and the directions were easy to follow. Highly recommended.

    Prince walking...
Some nice spots pointed out on the walk. Couple of bumps along the way, but all in all was decent. Need a few more " you're doing fine keep walking this way" in my humble opinion.

    Minneapolis Self-guided audio tour
I was never able to download it and I tried multiple times. It was also hard to find the beginning location where it was supposed to start. The phone number for the company does not work. And email is not helpful when you need help right now.

Could have seen the same without the audio tour.
It was ok. The only part we appreciated was seeing the mural of Prince and not sure we would have seen it if we had not done the tour.

A Great Way to Learn While Walking
I had an afternoon free in Minneapolis on a beautiful fall day so I downloaded this audio tour and walked through the Minnehaha Regional Park. The tour was very informative and the narrator was clear and easy to understand. I learned a lot about Minneapolis and Native American history. The app was easy to use and I appreciated the map feature that helped keep me on the right path. I also like that I can go back another time and do the tour again.

    Exciting walk through Mississippi History
We really appreciated the guides knowledge of Mississippi history. We’re from out of town, so it was great to get a an insiders look at the history of the river in Minneapolis. And glad he made it out alive!

Prince…Pt.2 This walking tour was great. Seeing the places that Prince frequented added more depth to his story.
Seeing places that Prince had associations with really made him come to life for me. Doing so added another dimension to his person

    Graffiti galore. Awful
It has been about 16 years since my last visit. The absolute decay is overwhelming. How incredibly sad to see what has become of this nice city.

    Rich River History
This tour was amazing. It was so fun to hear the history of canoe racing, and the Native connections to the river. The author's story about his own rescue was also moving. If you're at all interested in the Mississippi, this tour is a good one.

    Intro to Audio Tours-4 STARS
I went to MN and they already had snow on the ground and chilly temps so the audio tour was perfect as I still wanted to see everything in the park and get back to comfort of my hotel room. The narration is very well done. I didn't give the tour 5 stars because the wildlife image is a blank grey screen. I tried restarting app a couple of times and that one image didn't materialize

Long layover with a flight? Go here!!
I had a four hour layover at MSP so I was looking for something I could do that was close to the airport and would allow me to get out for a bit and make it back easily. Also needed some thing that was “open “early as my flight got in at 7:15. I found this and totally enjoyed it. I did the audio tour which gave lots of information on what I was seeing rather than me just walking by myself and seeing things without knowing anything about them. It was beautiful and very informative. It was surprising that it was so close to downtown and not a ways out.

Make it easier for those who are not smart phone experts to use. The whole process is to time consuming and confusing. We arrive at the starting point and could not down load or what ever was to happen. The system told us it would be 9 minutes then it said 157 minutes before we could start. We left, after paying a 30 dollar cab fair to get there then another to return to our hotel for a total of 60. No tour! They did refund or purchase price but not the cab fair.

First time to downtown Minneapolis and thought this tour would give us the lay of the land. It was very informative, the walk easy enough, interesting history but I think would be better in the summer when there is more going on in the park area. It was pretty desolate in November. You really only need to pay for one person and everybody else will just listen in on your phone with a little speaker. I paid for four adults and we ended up walking in couples and at our own pace. The guy’s voice was a little monotone, but he did have some good stories. You really don’t even need to go into the bookstore. It’s just a starting point for the app to recognize where you are. Not sure why you needed to book ahead of time. That was quite ridiculous.

We enjoyed the snippets of personal experience and historical tidbits that the narrator included. Pleasant speaking voice.
The tour did seem to end abruptly leaving me to wonder if we’d missed something since we were a long way from our starting point.

As someone who moved to Minneapolis several years ago, I found this tour both illuminating and fun. My mom, who was visiting, and I learned a lot and loved the walk. The mix of humor with history makes you feel like you're being led around the area by a knowledgeable friend. It's great that you can stop at any time, wander off and come back on, or even finish another day. Definitely worth it for anyone who is wanting to have a unique experience.

This was a great way to learn about the city. I read other reviews and did download the app prior to needing it. It started off a little edgy but once we got use to it , it was perfect navigation and great audio info. Just as in other reviews stated it ended in the middle of a trail. That was weird and though it gave recommendations how to get back to the starting point it should have ended back on the major road. Beyond those minor issues I highly recommend. Tour all the sights at your own pace.

This was my first time visiting Minneapolis, and the tour was a perfect introduction to city, sights, and history. I'd highly recommend even if you live in or around the Cities. It's fun, funny, and perfect way to spend an afternoon in and around the river. Five stars.

Such a great walking tour. I did it as it was getting dark so I got to see the city in many lights. Super easy to follow and you can just put your phone in your pocket and directions are provided. The tour guide gives you different tidbits covering different things like arts, sports, music, history, geography, nature. You really get a little bit of everything. Definitely recommend, great way to spend an hour or so!

Loved the tour! Beautiful place and very interesting information. Found the concept to be really convenient. You tour at your own pace and at the hours that suit you better. Constant feedback as if you were actually accompanied by a tour guide. Excellent and
easy directions. Lots of interesting facts.

I bought 8 tours for myself and friends. It is a beautiful tour with great narration. You need to allot about 45-60 minutes to download and study this app and more to help others. Not intuitive.
Unfortunately the download and operation of the app did not work well on my android. One of the other I-phoĺnes had a little trouble all the others loved it.
So while I could hear my wife's phone in the low noise areas, I have damaged hearing and it was SUPER IRRITATING. My tour kicked in an out at random and I restarted the app 4 times before giving up.
The walk is great but not circular. It essentially doubles your time walking back the same route.

Thanks for the feedback on this – and we're really sorry you had trouble using the tour. We are a little constrained by the the fact that Tripadvisor only gives us room to explain how you download the tour on your ticket under Before You Go. But the steps listed there are straightforward, I think: 1. Install VoiceMap 2. Create an account 3. Go to Tour Codes 4. Enter the code listed on your ticket, right beside these instructions We offer over 750 tours like this one and most same-day purchases are redeemed in under 5 minutes, but if we can make this easier, we absolutely will. Can you let us know where you got stuck? You can just reply to the email we sent you, which also gives you access to a free tour. Thanks again, Iain

The audio was very good, interesting information I didn't know, good jokes. My only critique would be that the tour ended on Nicollet Island ... for us behind a building where weddings are held. It was up to us to find our way back to the book store where we had parked ... a long boring walk without any audio to distract us. We should have turned around and retraced our steps. Then the walk would have been scenic. We didn't.
