What an amazing experience. From the friendly pilot to the fact we got to see a moose I couldn’t have asked for much better. The fall colors were incredible. Highly recommended!

John was an excellent guide as well as being a calm and steady pilot. It was wonderful to see so much of this lovely part of Maine, most of which can’t be seen from the road. The ride itself was amazing - I’ve experienced harder take-offs and landings in commercial aircraft. I highly recommend this!

We splurged on the 1 hour tour, and even then it seemed way too short. But it was a lot of fun and worthwhile. Our pilot did a mid-flight landing at a pretty deserted beach on an island for a few minutes, and took our pictures of the plane (used in our Christmas card!) Our pilot was super friendly.

Fantastic flight over the area during foliage season. Our pilot was to notch and provided plenty of information about the area and its history. Highly recommend.

Keith provided an informative commentary on the peaks and lakes in view, and soon spotted a bull and cow moose in a clearing. He kindly looped around for a closer pass so we could all see and take photos. Our water landing was exciting as it provided a close up view of an adjacent mountain and put us down on what I thought was a small pond. This was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it.

An amazing way to view Rangeley Lakes & beyond. Saw a pair of moose, pilot circled around so everyone got a great view. Views of clouds & sky just as great as sights below. The water landing was super, a quiet spot to reflect. Highly recommend!

It was great to see the view of the lakes in this region, it is incredible how many are uninhabited. The pilot was quick to give directions, and then we were off! I will say this is the fastest 30 minutes of your life, but well worth the experience. Pilot took photos of the crew mid flight, and once we landed. This was a nice souvenir to have.

Carl was awesome! I’ve been coming here for 58 years and always wanted to fly over the region, especially my house on the west shore. It was so easy to book the flight and so much fun. If you’re in the area, do it!!

This was our first sea plane experience and it was a great one. Captain Carl was informative and accommodating. We will definitely take another flight with Acadia Seaplane Tours.

Beautiful views. Great narrative of the landscape. Carl was a super pilot carefully explaining the necessary procedures. His calm demeanor took away any preflight jitters. I highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience! Our pilot, Carl was awesome! He was knowledgeable of the are and had a great sense of humor. As someone that grew up in the area, it was so cool to see it all from above. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time and it was well worth the price!

Captain Carl was wonderful. I am handicapped and he helped me get into and out of the plane. He was knowledgable about the area and was able to answer any questions I asked. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our pilot Carl was great! Very friendly and calm. The seaplane was so fun and takeoff and landing were not as scary as I had imagined. We all wore long pants and shoes, so we didn’t get off the plane when we landed, but Carl still let us hang out in the lake standing on the floats, which was fun. (If we went again, we’d wear shorts and shoes that could get wet). The plane is warm, and we were a bit overdressed. It was my daughters first time on a plane and they both had a great time! Thanks Carl!!

This was a great experience! I am very claustrophobic and there was a good minute when we first got in when I wanted to ask to get off… but the pilot was so calm and kind and told me I’d be feeling lots of air once we got going. And I had my kids to stay calm for. They loved it — once in a lifetime experience (well, actually I think I’ll come back and do the dining experience next time, so maybe twice in a lifetime?) and the views were amazing. So cool to land and see the boats nearby — and then be on the beach later and watch the seaplanes taking off and landing right next to you - like “whoa, we just did that!!” The personality of the pilot, Captain Carl, made the experience fun — felt great to get out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend! It may seem expensive for a 30-minute experience but it is really like nothing you’ve experienced before, and the pilots need a lot of training and put a lot of work into making things fun.
