- hawkdriver610 contributionsGreat Experience!Tyler did a great job guiding the tour. Very knowledgeable and easy going. He pointed out several intricate details on buildings that we would have missed. Very enjoyable. The cookie at the end of the tour is a nice touch. Thank you Tyler!Written December 20, 2024
- 328dianet0 contributionsGreat tour for enjoying local food! Our guide was Bill. He set the perfect pace for the tour with just the right amount of time to enjoy the food before moving to the next location. All the food was delicious! Bill also talked about the history of Rockland which was interesting and informative. My favorites were Fiori and the chocolate factory. I don’t think we would have found all the food restaurants/stores on our own so the tour was a good choice for us.Written December 1, 2024

- 509patsys0 contributionsLoved this introduction to Portland ME and their awesome seafood! We spent one week traveling along the coast of Maine for the first time. We decided to do this Seafood Lovers Walking Tour to get an overview of Portland and because we LOVE Seafood! The weather was perfect! I was a bit concerned about how far we would walk but it was only about 3/4 to 1 mile. We had a haddock taco at the first stop. Never had haddock or a fish taco before but it was delish! Then we went for NE Clam Chowder! It was a bit cool outside so it was a perfect day for Chowder. I can tell you we all agreed it was the best we have ever had. Thanks so much! Then we went to the next stop for a lobster roll. We were already borderline satisfied, until I tried the lobster. Best ever, so melt in your mouth. Ate all the lobster and left the roll! We really enjoyed the root beer also. This was made in house as well. We finished up at a Chocolatier. Everything was perfect and we are so pleased that we decided to take this tour. Next trip we will come back and stay a week in Portland.Written October 30, 2024

- _peircemr0 contributionsExcellent historical tour! The historic walking tour of Kennebunkport was amazing! Our guide Pete was very knowledgeable, and he gave a very thorough historical account of the industry, major figures and architecture from early days. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of shipbuilding and early New England life.Written October 16, 2024
- AmyB9210 contributionsShort on food and disorganizedWe booked this tour hoping to sample some of the famous seafood Portland is known for. We left hungry and disappointed. This lengthy tour only included stops at 3 restaurants plus a fundraiser concessions stand. The food at these stops were 1 fish taco, 1 lobster roll, 1 small cup of chowder and a donut from the concession stand. Many other foods like muscles, scallops and Portland’s famous Holy donuts were discussed, but we never actually got to eat any of them. (And isn’t that the point of a food tour?) AJ was our guide and the tour started late, went long and too much time was spent at each of the stops. Everything seemed thrown together on the fly and not well organized. The most disappointing thing though was the lack of food. Overall, not worth the time and especially not the money.Written October 12, 2024
- pauldS5553XR0 contributionsA Wonderful Walk through Historic KennebunkportThis tour highlights the history and architecture of many of the beautiful homes in Kennebunkport, a good number of which were built before 1800. We were able to go inside a couple of ship captain's homes that are now inns. Beth, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, informative, interesting, and friendly. I highly recommend the tour.Written October 10, 2024
- nancydX5607KX0 contributionsGreat walking tourOur guide was great! She was very knowledgeable and went at a nice pace. We really enjoyed seeing the historical buildings and learning the history of Kennebunkport.Written October 8, 2024

The food tour was really fun. We went to an Indian restaurant, sushi, mexican and gelato for dessert. Jimmy was interesting and gave us a lot of info/history about Portland.
