About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- charlespP3295KB0 contributionsInterestingAJ was an excellent guide. We even saw some interesting places that aren’t on the standard tourist schedules. Very nice day.Written March 11, 2025
- B7574SQsusanm0 contributionsGreat tour!AJ picked us up at our hotel ‘the Guest House Mansion’ it’s awesome. He was great! Very informative about city, took great care of us, drinks, snacks, lots of potty breaks. Would definitely use him again!Written February 7, 2025
- vanderp0 contributionsFantastic Tour - highly recommend Jason JonesWe had the best experience with Jason Jones who could not have been any nicer or more knowledgeable about the area. It was me and my 2 teen daughters and we felt very safe and comfortable. Jason did his best to show us the wildlife although we were visiting off season and many animals were still hibernating. We did see plenty of bison, elk, and coyote. Our favorite part by far was Barronette Peak covered in snow, where we had the entire area to ourselves, it was one of the most magestic things we'd ever witnessed. We still talk about that incredible experience a year later. Jason did a terrific job showing us the sights while keeping us safe. We enjoyed the gift shop in the park and also the lunch we shared together after in Gardiner. I booked this tour not knowing what to expect but I was reassured at every point. Jason even called the day before to confirm and answer any questions. All in all we'd highly recommend this tour and Jason.Written January 9, 2025
- 18sarahg0 contributionsGreat 1-Day Winter Tour!Great trip; we got to see Big Horn Sheep, Bison, Elk, Antelope (well, whatever they are) -- and it was really great to have someone who knew the best spots and all the right places to check out! Highly recommend!Written December 31, 2024
- C112AGmaryr0 contributionsHistoric Natchez private tourOur historic Natchez full day private tour was excellent. Dennis our guide was very informative. We were able to go at our own pace. We were able to see every thing we wanted too in one day. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a great tour.Written November 3, 2024
- P2997TDcynthias0 contributionsDiscovering MaineWhat a great private tour of Arcadia National Park and Maine. AJ, our tour guide was friendly, professional and a safe driver. He made the tour interesting by adding some of his childhood memories of our route and places we visited. As we are not shoppers, except for LL Bean which he added for us, but more like to learn about the history and geography, he planned our visit around our interests. He was also a great photographer and took many wonderful photographs for us that will provide cherished memories of Maine.Written October 30, 2024
- A5481IMmaryh0 contributionsPerfect 🤩 tour for our annual Friends trip!We had a wonderful tour from Portland to Acadia with our wonderful guide AJ. He took us to LL Beans in Freeport , Camden, Bar Harbor and Acadia and back to Portland in one memorable day. AJ took us to some very special areas where the scenery and the meals were amazing. He provided snacks and drinks and frequent stops for photos and shopping and even acted as our personal photographer assuring that our memories of the trip were perfect. We would definitely use this touring company again . Many thanks from the “Fleetville 5” !Written October 21, 2024
- stevesA357PE0 contributionsA worthwhile and fun tour.We had a personalized tour of the city highlights in air conditioned comfort. Our guide used a speaker system that we could hear clearly and she shared a great amount of history of the sights, buildings, and people. We were picked up from our hotel promptly, had good conversation, and had our questions answered.Written October 15, 2024
- KayD8580 contributionsExcellent Tour!!We booked a private day tour for two couples from Portland, Maine, to Acadia National Park and back. Our tour guide was AJ, one of the owners of Wicked Wonders Tours. He did a fantastic job. We were very specific about what we wanted to see and do and he did an excellent job crossing everything off the list. It was a long day but AJ was great company. We would whole-heartedly recommend Wicked Wonders Tours.Written October 3, 2024
- flipper790 contributionsGreat lower loop viewsOur guide Nick was great. He modified the locations so he didn’t show us places we had already seen. He gave us ample time at each location for us to view. At the end of the trip Nick did an unplanned stop at a location where he said “I think you will like this” and he was right.Written September 27, 2024
- Stay453204226800 contributionsOne day in YellowstoneWe only had 1 day to spend in Yellowstone and Jason made sure we hit all the highlights. We could never have seen all that we did on our own. Tour was great and highly recommend Jason.Written September 26, 2024
- Storyteller5223090 contributionsYellowstone Magic!Took private Upper and Lower Loop Yellowstone tours with Jason. Jason was an awesome guide! He picked us up bright and early from our lodge in W Yellowstone. His knowledge of the park was amazing ! He took us to all the popular spots in the park and even included some extra stops to see unique spots- ie. “Chocolate fountain spring”. Jason had a variety of drinks and snacks available and knew all the restroom spots in the park! My husband and I never would have managed to see so much of the park over two days without Jason! Yellowstone is truly a magical place and a must see!Written September 25, 2024
- ctmshm0 contributionsSensational sights!Nick was an awesome guide. He tailored the tour to our desires and needs, even used a different vehicle so we would not have trouble getting in and out. We had a wonderful time and saw everything we wanted to see and more. Thank you for a great experience!Written September 25, 2024
- James V0 contributionsGreat ExperienceGreat tour guide (Nick) and beautiful weather to enjoy the Upper Loop. Nick’s experience helped us avoid the crowds (as much as humanly possible). Very enjoyable day!!Written September 21, 2024
- W1804ZRshelleyb0 contributionsAwesome Yellowstone tourThis was an awesome tour. The tour guide, Jason Jones, was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, wildlife sightings, and times of the geyser eruptions. He went above and beyond what was expected. It was a cold, rainy day on the day of our excursion, but it was well worth every penny!Written September 20, 2024

We spent 4 days in Portland, great walkable city with awesome food! We wanted to see some of the charm and beauty of Maine outside of Portland so we booked this private day tour. AJ picked us up in the morning in a new spacious SUV, we were his only guests. We saw Freeport, a charming little town where the LL Bean factory store was, then we headed to the Portland Botanical Gardens. The gardens were beautiful and scenic with easy hikes near the shoreline, we did about 2 miles. We then visited Booth Bay, a quintessential Maine town, it’s very beautiful. We had lunch and took in the charm of this picturesque town on the water. The final stop was the Portland Head Light a must see! AJ and this tour made it so easy, he even had Mimosas for us! We totally recommended this tour.

We had private tour up and down middle coast of Maine. Arnie, our driver was a character. He picked us up promptly and made suggestions to enhance our Maine excursion. Saw lighthouses near Portland, went to L.L. Bean outlet, ate lunch at a working wharf (where we saw a tuna sold and cut up), as well other towns and unique experiences up the coast. It was a long day but well worth the time and cost.

I was very disappointed that this tour was not available to a solo traveler. I even reached out to ask to be added as a third or fifth to the tour but was rejected.
I am here Labor Day week and it seems slow enough that I would have been a welcome addition.

We have had some ridiculous reviews in the past, but this one has to top them. We only offer private tours and we require a minimum of 2 guests in order to operate and pay our guides. You could have booked for two guests if you had wanted (but chose not to). On a private tour, you cannot ask another private group to take a stranger along on their tour. I honestly have no idea how to respond to this without shaking my head. I am hoping that you just didn't take the time to read the description and assumed that this was a public small group tour and that is why you left this review. Otherwise, I am completely lost how you feel that it is appropriate to smear a business with such a review because they didn't have an option you wanted, and is not advertised or listed.

Great tour with a great guy. Tour guide was a Maine native that took me to lots of cool, off the beaten path coastal Maine attractions. Could not have been better!!

Had a great experience. Tour operator went out of his way to insure that he incorporated the things we wanted to see and not just a standard one tourist stop to the next.

We really enjoyed this trip we started off going to the Portland head lighthouse and also saw the Fort Williams. We then headed up to Freeport and spent some nice time at the L.L. Bean company store there and we also got some information from our dad about the impact available being in the area. We also went to the Andros Scoggins bridge, which was built in 1892 and it was tied directly to the local textile industry. We went to the town of Bath to see the Tori gate, which was symbolic of a sister city relationship with a small town in Japan. We also drove by the sprawling Bath Iron Works plant that builds ships for the US government. In Boothbay, we had a wonderful lunch at the tugboat Inn then we we went on a walk around Boothbay tourist area to go in some of the shops and buy a few souvenirs and cards quaint beautiful little town. from there, we went to the botanical gardens and we spent over an hour walking around there. We saw two of the large wooden troll structures, which were so cute and unique. We did not find all of them as the whole complex covers 300 acres, but we did spend a couple of hours there, our last stop was fort Edgecombe, which was built in 1809. It is the oldest octagon structure still standing in the United States. It was a block house fort to protect that area of Maine during the war of 1812.
Three adults in our family were in the group. This is a private tour and Dennis our guide was very accommodating, providing water soft drinks and snacks.

Had an amazing day on this tour with Stephanie. She was super accommodating. She called the night before to double check everything including times, itinerary, what to wear, ect. She made us feel like old friends rather than a stranger taking us on a tour. Would highly recommend this tour if you are wanting to get out and see some lighthouses and other cool Maine sights.
