This was the hit of our stay on Peaks Island! They picked us up and dropped us off which was so considerate. There were 6 of us so we had the boat to ourselves. The captain and "first mate" were great! On the ocean side of Peaks it started to rain - it got more and more intense. Our gal put down the vinyl "window coverings" and we were snug as bugs. The captain did a wonderful job of keeping the boat from bouncing around too much. The rain ended and we went on to see Portland Head Light. It was a fabulous trip, everyone was so excited that we were able to do this together. Thank you for making such a wonderful memory for our family!

We chartered this private tour a week or so ahead of time and had a glorious day for our 2 hour tour. Zack our captain, was safety conscious from the moment we stepped on the boat, and Lauren our guide, gave us excellent commentary on the history of many things we saw on our trip. The history of Portland is fascinating and the information we received on the surrounding islands, the forts we passed from the water as well as the various lighthouses, made this trip a winner! As an extra bonus, we sighted several groups of porpoise and watched as they surfaced and dove in the water. The private tour was worth the price and it was an enjoyable experience visiting Portland from the water. If I could rate this higher than ten, I would! Highly recommend this adventure!

We took the you pick three sunset charter to kickoff our honeymoon in Portland, Maine! It included bottomless wine, beer, and soft drinks and a DELICIOUS dinner picked up from a high end restaurant right on the boat. What we were really impressed with was the two gentlemen on the tour provided the ultimate customer service! The gentleman who gave us the tour and severed our drinks was SO knowledgeable about Portland and made us feel like we were hanging with a friend while creating an inviting atmosphere. The weather was beyond perfect and truly an experience we will cherish forever!

Wonderful private boat ride with family and friends out in the harbor. The service was great on board, we were comfortable, accommodated and felt very safe. There was a good selection of wine, local beer and soft drinks for all of us as well. Probably more of a $25-$35/person value if you’re not a drinker.

Both of my parents have limited mobility. This company was super helpful with getting my parents down the ramp in their wheelchairs and on the boat . You have to be able to transfer by sitting on the boat and turning your legs inside. If you have limited mobility, call to go during high tide as it makes it easier to get on and off of the boat.
Mike is very informative. The boat was cute and cozy. We enjoyed our tour. It was a great way to see the lighthouses without needing to drive to each individual lighthouse. I recommend this company for a private tour.

Four of us went out for the afternoon (3pm) cruise on the Monhegan and had a great time. Very good way to see the bay islands and hear some of the history of the various military installations and lighthouses. Boat was very comfortable and rode very smoothly. We'd ordered in a small amount of catering (cheese and fruits) from the catering service and it was wonderful, a real treat, as was the wine they were pouring. It was a lovely afternoon out on the water with friends, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time with Cap’n Zac and Mate Mike! We toured the lighthouses and some of the many islands of Casco Bay, all illuminated by knowledgeable commentary from Zac and Mike. These were not canned presentations, but conversations and answers to our questions ranging from lobstering and birds to local history and the charter business itself. We saw seals and sea birds and fancy houses and sailboats and luxury yachts. We got to know Zac and Mike a bit and liked them both immensely. Oh yes, the boat. Clean, spacious, very comfortable seating, with full shade (or rain) cover and a brand new engine. Soft drinks, beer or wine available. It was a lovely day, sun with a few distant showers. Cap’n Zac says he outruns rain, but he says that with a smile. Perfect!

Very peaceful set of two hours on the water, perfectly fine for everyone from the very young to the very old. The crew on board and the personnel that did the booking were both very polite and responsive. The boat only goes 12 knots, so with a bit of waves rocking you to sleep and the light droning of the engine, it's very likely that some participants will doze off if they are not into prolonged contemplation of the coast.

Fantastic experience and luckily wonderful weather! Nick and Lauren provided a great time and wonderful hospitality. Beautiful boat, cozy seating, great amenities - binoculars, bluetooth speaker, custom glassware, etc. Recommend the unlimited beverages option. Oh and Lauren is a top notch photographer too - great memories captured from our tour!

We had an amazing, calm sail around Portland Bay with our group of six. Tom and Enya were lovely to spend time with, and had just the right amount of interaction and education while slowing our family to spend time together. The Hesper is gorgeous, and it was a treat to see my sons help with the mainsail at the beginning. We may make this an annual tradition.

Hi, can you clarify what you mean by $550 per party (up to 1)? Does that mean the cost is $550 per person? How many do you consider a "party" and is that the total cost for the cruise. My family would like to purchase a cruise for our sister and her husband who are turning 80 in October so we would like to clarify if they are the total party and how much we would be spending/pitching in to cover the gift. There were 6 of us and the total was $550 for the group. I would suggest you contact the company for exact charges. They were great to work with. It was well worth the money and made a lasting wonderful memory for all of us.
