    A Must Do
So interesting! Our tour guide Gabe was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to speak with during our tour. Highly recommend to anyone who even has a slight interest in history. After the tour, we joked that we now want to move to Louisville. A must do if you’re from Louisville or visiting the area like us.

When did the NYT recommend this?
While this is a large collection of homes from the late 1800 / early 1900 era, at least a quarter of them were in very poor condition. Our guide did a great job of relating the history of many homes, so in that sense it was enjoyable. But from an architectural perspective I wasn't overwhelmed.

    Magical Evening
This was magical, and I'm a local and even learned new things. The research and historical details are weaved in with wonderful stories about the families that lived here, and it's basically like walking through a multi-faceted novel. I mean the creator IS a novelist, so maybe that's why.

    Great tour
We did the 1pm architecture tour. Our guide was passionate and engaging. I don’t know much about architecture, and I’m not sure she knew much more than I, but she knew the history of the neighborhoods and buildings we saw and told very interesting stories. The homes are beautiful, and it was a beautiful day for a walk.

We had a wonderful evening walking the streets of Old Louisville with David. He told us some fantastic ghost stories we saw many beautiful homes that we would not have discovered on our own. The thunderstorms passing over added to the ambiance of the event!

Be ready to walk. The guide was well rehearsed and gave a great presentation. His name Doug Friday and he was very informative. Do some research 1st and come prepared with questions. I do not recommend doing this in a wheelchair. Yes, the sidewalk is old and is definitely not up kept by the city. This is no fault of the tour.

We loved our evening ghost tour with David and Angelique! They shared the perfect mix of information and lore in a way that made us feel like we were being shown around a neighborhood by friendly new acquaintances. The houses are stunning to look at, but hearing their stories is all the better. We're so glad we had this opportunity!

We had such a great experience on our tour! David is so knowledgeable about the history and hauntings of Louisville, it even kept my youngest son’s attention (he’s 8) and not much does. LOL. I highly recommend this tour! We will probably do it again next time we come down to get some different stories. The houses in Downtown Louisville are literally magical and it was so cool to hear their history! Thanks for a great night!

I have been wanting to go on one of David’s tours ever since I read his first book. We took the whole family and could not have been more pleased! David knows all about the history and haunts of Old Louisville. Now I want to go on his architectural tour.

A ghostly historical tour through Old Louisville was eerily delightful!! The houses are beautiful and HUGE, the stories are enjoyable. No ghosts were spotted on the evening we went. There is lots of walking, but the area was gorgeous.
No restrooms, so take care if that need before you get there!!

Our family of 6 took this tour and loved it. More than just architecture, there was fun history, beautiful gardens, secret walkways, and a ghost story or 2. The 90 minutes just flew by! I would highly recommend this tour .

Lovely stroll through this historic district. Intriguing stories, was wowed by the volume of beautiful homes. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Have the book, looking forward to reading it. Only disappointment was the tour wasn’t with the author. In re-reading the ad it states it’s not always done by him. Just think he’d be a better story teller since he researched and wrote about it. I would recommend the tour either way. It would be awesome if one of the homeowners became part of the tour and let the tour come in.
