- JeffW42700You should see itGreat museum for car people. The 70 year history of the Corvette is extensive, and you can learn all of it there. Special displays are there occasionally, add ing to the interest. As a Corvette owner I found out about things I didn't know before, so there's an educational aspect for everyone. Gift shop, and restaurant, add an all inclusive air to the experience. Plan on spending a good part of your day there.
- Nancy T00Wonderful experience! If your a Corvette owner or not, the museum is an awesome place to see the history of the American Sports car.
- charliem5700The 1 and only - best stop in KentuckyJust around the corner from the Assembly Plant.... houses all kinds of unique cars, interactive exhibits AND a cool " Sinkhole" exhibit that covers everything that occured when some cars were swallowed up in Feb 12, 2014
- nannycrump00Wonderful museum!Had a great experience touring this museum highlighting America's iconic sports car. Many cars on display and interesting things. Especially liked the Sinkhole exhibits
- donaldcP704IN00great people and great experience.Shane and his team were great to deal with. Shane went out of his way to handle some issues for me and I could not be happier.
- edwardeM1076LB00Taking delivery of my 2023 C8 corvetteLarry from the corvette museum took care of my wife and I. He was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, and informative. He went over the whole car with great detail, and then took us on a factory tour. Totally an unbelievable experience. I highly recommend the museum to anyone, even if it isn't to take delivery, and if you see Larry, talk to him. The guy knows corvettes through and through. best experience!
- Curtis W00An absolute MUST SEE for young and YOUNG AT HEART!This is a “MUST SEE” to see “America’s Sports Car” Past, Present, and Future! And what a future it has. Even if your not a big sports car fan, you will love the stories that you will see and read about! This was my wife and my fifth stop because the displays are frequently changing! And do the factory tour if you can! It’s absolute wonderful!!
- leesY9455LP00Deliver your Corvette here!Taking delivery of your new Corvette at the Museum is the most wonderful experience you can have with a new car. Staff is incredible, museum is fascinating and the experience the Museum staff provides is something you will remember the rest of your life.
- krg99900Some people really like corvettesThe museum is very clean. Some construction otherwise most of the displays were good. But ALL about corvettes. Small section of the museum about the sink hole.
- Mrs_Meunier00Gotta Love CorvettesReally enjoyed the museum. Got to follow the history to where they are now. The cars are gorgeous of course. Some folks were taking delivery which is very cool. You never know who you might see, today was Rick Hendricks!
- loislagw00Buy your car here!Loved seeing all Corvettes but didn't find color of my previous color....British Racing Green. Now own my 4th Corvette.
- Loonypat00InterestingGreat place to visit - nice cars. The collapse portion of the museum is interesting, but from what I understand they are doing away with that part because they don't want to be known only for the collapse. The Corvettes are historical and beautiful.
- ChristineBrown9200A Must StopNeat place to stop and see the cars. Great facility. Loved learning and seeing about the sink hole here.
- fmac1rob00AwesomeGreat place to visit the cars were awesome and the history about the cars was great resources. Family friendly
- Pinkukfan00Guided Tour is greatThey offer guided tours twice a day and it is worth it. Just be sure you get there in enough time before or after the tour to watch the 15 minute video which is not part of the guided tour. The employees there weren't very helpful and we had to figure this out on our own. I wish they would have been more informative so we could have watched the full video before beginning the tour. The interactive simulated drive was enjoyable for my 14 year old. Paulette was a great tour guide. She added a lot of local flavor you would have missed by doing the self-guided tour.

Enjoyed the new cars on display which were being picked up by their
new owners. The museum costs depend on age and occupation(active military, etc.)
Plan to pay at least $10 each to go in. I liked the corvettes through
the ages displays....well thought out and a trip through time.
The sinkhole which occurred in 2014 has been filled in with a detailed
accounts if you want to see them. They have a corvette cafe which needs to
open back up full time, so hard to see it with yellow tape over most of it.
Lovely gift store and I really enjoyed "Rat Fink" and his cars and memories.
A great two hours of learning especially if you love cars and corvettes.
The corvette assembly plant is not reopening until 14 Oct. 2020 for tours.

You should think of the Corvette Museum in the same way you think of the Louisville Slugger Museum up the road in, um, Louisville. If you have no great interest in the subject, don’t bother. But if you love cars (or in the other case, baseball) and have an appreciation for sports cars in general and the great American Corvette itself, this will be worth every nickel and moment. The history of the Corvette, its engineering, its legacy, are all here in detail. And take extra time to enjoy the portions devoted to the Great Sinkhole of 2014, which swallowed eight cars but could have been so much worse (middle of the night; no one there). The Museum turned things to their advantage by rebuilding the exhibit, restoring the cars that could be & still displaying those that could not be, while also teaching a little bit about the geology of the area to boot; remember, you’re not far from Mammoth Cave NP.

We purchased tickets in advance online for the Museum and the Guided Tour. At 10AM, which was the first tour time of the morning, we began the tour. The tour guide gave each of us a communication pack to hang around our neck and headphones so that we could hear him.
The tour guide was very thorough. However, there were several Corvette lovers in our group and they called out the tour guide for several inaccuracies. If you are a Corvette fan, or even a car enthusiast, you will enjoy the museum tour. If you are not, buying a ticket to the museum is more than sufficient.
Parking is free.
There is a restaurant inside the museum with decent food at reasonable prices if you get hungry or thirsty. (Reasonable for a museum, that is.) There are also picnic tables outside so that you can eat your food from the restaurant outside.

Any Corvette lover would really appreciate this museum. What do you want to know about Corvette's history. Lots to see and read about. Videos everywhere. The videos of the cars being retrieved from the sink hole was very interesting. The areas are pretty open, so this museum is very wheelchair friendly. There is also a diner inside should you get hungry. If you're not a car guy, you might find the admission price a little steep. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. The museum is very close to the assembly plant should you have an opportunity to tour it. Unfortunately for us, tours were not available.

From the display of current models at the entrance through the entire historical timeline of the Vette, America's fast and affordable sports car, extracted memories and entertained the younger generations. Many of the cars on display are on loan so one trip in a lifetime is not enough. I have visited several times both before and after the tragic cave collapse Feb 12, 2014. The exhibit of the total-loss Vettes from that sink hole is a must-see. Bring tissue.

It goes without saying that if you are a Corvette enthusiast, this museum will have special appeal. We are not, but do appreciate a thoughtful, professional exhibit, and the Corvette Museum meets that criteria. It is exactly as advertised: the verbal, graphic, and physical history of the Chevrolet Corvette. We didn't try any of the add-ons, like the simulator or a chance to drive a Corvette around the track, but did give the exhibit area a thorough look, including the exhibit about the sinkhole that swallowed a bunch of vintage vehicles a number of years ago. If you are a gearhead, this place is a must-see. If not, you still should consider going.

This is a wonderful museum. As you enter we saw 6 brand new Corvettes that were ready for pickup from their new owners. There were plaques with their names and we could see one gentleman sitting in the car getting briefed on the car. Tickets were $15 for adults which I thought was very reasonable for all we saw. You can see the first generation cars all the way to the new models. They also have some race cars on display. The 2014 sinkhole is re-created and then you can see all 8 cars affected/destroyed by the event. The dome shows how large the hole was. All very interesting. They have a nice gift shop with all things Corvette. We took our grandson and he loved all the cars. They were also demo’ing tractors in the parking lot the day we were there and he loved this. You can spend anywhere from one hour to 4+ hours reading all about the cars. Open from 8am-5pm daily. We didn’t realize all Corvettes are assembled here in Bowling Green, KY.

during the pandemic, with our international options limited, we have been traveling to spots within a day’s drive of our home in NE TN. The most recent trip was to Bowling Green, KY…home to many things, but high on my list was the Corvette Museum. I do not own one of these fine vehicles, but I am a car guy, and every car guy knows about Corvettes. What they man not know much about, is the history behind the car. The museum is chock full of important Corvette models, from the initial car in 1953 all the way through the latest mid-engine iteration (two of which were sitting outside the museum, plastic still on the seats). The other interesting thing about this museum is the fact that a sink hole swallowed up several cars in the Dome section of the museum back in 2014. The museum used the unfortunate incident to add to the overall exhibit, using indications on the floor to show where the cars fell through, and a little information on the cave system below the museum. There are other facets to the museum which we didn’t take advantage off. Buy something to remember the trip in the gift shop. Recommended.

The National Corvette Museum was simply....Awesome. A large spacious museum that explains and shows, by model year, the history and evolution of America's premier sports car, The Corvette. Great for the whole family including kids. The Sinkhole exhibit and display is truly amazing. Great photo ops thru out the entire complex, inside & out. Plenty of Free Parking and admission prices for the museum were very reasonable. Well worth a visit when in the area. Overall Rating ~ Excellent

Seeing the progressive history of the Corvette over time with actual cars from those periods was impressive. The new Corvette was so stylish and not only did we see it, we heard it too. The display and history of the massive sinkhole was quite interesting to learn about. Simply put, if you are near Bowling Green, KY you must make a pit stop to see the Corvette Museum.

Hi, my name us Bill Oxley. I live in Greenwood Village,CO., a Denver suburb. My wife and I are planning a trip to Bowling Green to pick up a C8 Corvette and drive it back to Colorado. And take the plant tour for the 4th time, I've had 9 Corvettes over the years and still have 1 remaining; a near 100 point bright yellow 1974 Coupe with everything just right. I'm not interested in trading it in at all, as I want to keep it forever. But what I am wanting to do is buy a new C8 in red or black, and drive it back home to Colorado. No financing needed, cashier's check from me, at an agreed on price. I can schedule the flight out at your convenience and pick up my 10th Corvette at any time it is ready. I've not been particularly happy with local servicing of my Corvettes, so this would be a special privilege for me and my wife and I would enjoy the tour and the trip home. It would be special to pick the car up in the Bowling Green factory and take the tour, and then drive it home. Please try to make this happen. I'm a Corvette purists, and if the purchase could happen this way, it would be one of my most satisfying Corvette stories in my life. Thanks for your time. Bill Oxley
