The bus drive, captain of the boat and the crew were exceptionally nice to travel with. They tried to meet all of your needs. They planned a nice lunch and snack and fun activities. The views from the boat were beautiful. It was a nice relating day

Ha long bay My sister, daughter, granddaughter and I had a wonderful cruise today. The food was delicious, great timing for all the activities, fun entertainment and excellent service. We want to give a shout out to crew member, Otis. Otis made sure we knew what was happening, brought us treats and took care of us on the tour. Thank you Jadesails and Otis for a memorable day on beautiful HaLong Bay.

First class service, we had to rebook because the day we were due to fly the weather was too bad. The team rebooked us for the next day. The whole experience taking off on the water to the unbelievable scenery was great. Big thanks to Mrs Huyen for keeping us informed. If you are ever in Ha Long it’s a must-do experience.

Extremely disappointed, rated 5 star on other websites we were downgraded at last minute to a three star cruise or had option to cancel the whole trip . We couldn’t cancel due to time and accommodation challenges so we only got a refund of around 75 dollar refund for a family of five which was negligible to what we paid for the entire cruise . Downgraded package did not match refunded amount . There was no cooking class or tai chi class . The downgraded cruise boat had good food but guide did not speak English very well, rooms were not up to standard , s beeping sound went on the whole night and some passengers had to sleep outdoors due to fumes in the room . No proper itinerary , no good information about transit trip , very chaotic and confused . Do not book with this cruise line , manager or owner shows very little interest in her customers. Only thing good was the scenery .

Halong bay is so beautiful. Every view from the ship is breath taking. The sunset was purple. The ship is an old wooden ship that has seen better days. It is definitely charming and could use some maintenance. The food was okay and the staff is very attentive and helpful. We were only on the ship for one night and I felt it was a good introduction to Halong Bay. The activities were rushed because we were only there one night. It might be a better trip with two nights.

My first review on TA all because of 1 man, Calvin (Cuong), cruise manager on 26th Dec. My 8 yo son had motion sickness 15 min into the trip and started throwing up. While the other staff were busy with their duties, Calvin the cruise manager, who was likely the busiest of the lot, rushed to get us cold towels, served on a tray! Cleaned up the mess we made (3 times!) and found us motion sickness pills. All done with a smile and a look of empathy. Quite a feat. Eventually we gave up the fight snd asked to be transported back to land. The usual fee for that as I learnt, is USD120. Calvin however, called back to head office and got approval to transport us back for free. He arranged a warm blanket for my son and personally escorted us on board and waved us goodbye with his now famous empathetic smile. What a guy! The cruise had 75 guests which was near capacity and while there were some minor issues, it was more than made up for by the attitude of its manager who honestly went over and beyond usual good service. Thank you so much Calvin! You’re a star!

We booked a two day trip at it was a big mistake, because we arrived on the boat at about 1.30 p.m. with a small transfer-boat and than after check-in the boat Stellar of The Sea drove a few miles (about 25 minutes) to a place and stood there till evening. Than another 20 minutes to next step for the night. Next day we lefat 10 a.m. and arrived in the harbour at 11.00. That's it. The bay was full of dirt and plastic, not possible to swim (to ugly). The bay full of touristic-boats and the food terrible. The room was o.k. but all together not worth the money. Never ever !!! And never this "exclusiv" yacht!!!

Booked a 2 day 1 night cruise with Rita cruise. Had a wonderful time with my family. Service is excellent with very attentive staff and the food was good. They even make a special birthday surprise arrangement for my daughter's birthday. She was so happy. The whole booking experience was good as Helen help us from the booking process and transportation arrangements, and she follow up closely to make sure everything is smooth. The manager, Happy is friendly and helpful, along with Hannah and Louis who give very good service. Highly recommend.

The best day trip - worth the trip from Hanoi - wonderful staff, food and a spectacular boat, with lots of space, seating. Highly recommended!

Would give 0 stars if possible! Transportation to the port was in a dirty and uncomfortable bus and included unsolicited stops to pearl manufacturers trying to sell us stuff which is unacceptable for a three hour journey. The mother ship was isolated in the bay itself over 40 minutes away, we traveled there on a small, old and uncomfortable boat with mouldy life jackets. The mother ship was outdated and dirty including dirty curtains, mouldy blinds in the bathroom and soggy artificial grass on the balcony. WiFi was non existent. We didn't get a choice with food other than choosing not to eat meat or fish, there is no menu explaining the food, you just get served it. Not even water was included with any meals. Extra drinks are ridiculously overpriced not worth the money, we bought two iced coffees and they were made from old coffee from a plastic bottle. The staff seemed more friendly to people buying alcohol. The guide made snide comments when we just wanted to spend time in our room. The bay is cluttered with rubbish, over tourism at its finest. And finally the guide then tried to force a 5* review by sitting next to me on the rust bucket of a boat back to land and said he needed to look at my booking on GetYourGuide and then tried to tap the 5 star rating on my phone, I had to pull it away. DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE!!

Today just came from Rita cruise I want to say that it was a fantastic experience...All services are excellent, All staff was very polite, very friendly, very helpful special thnx to Miss Hana Reception Girl start to end she help a lot to my group always smiling girl..Keep it up..

Not impressed with Amanda cruise company at all, terrible way to handle a cancellation due to weather. After being picked up in a full cramped bus with luggage through the aisle, Amanda cruise company emailed us on the way to Halong Bay, informing that no ships were able to leave the port due to bad weather. Despite knowing this by 10:30am, they still made us stay on the bus and go all the way to Halong bay, wait around for an unnecessarily long 2hr lunch with average food on a small boat in the harbor (not the Luxury boat we booked) before bussing us back to Hanoi, finally returning at 6:30pm. They had the audacity to charge 45USD per person for this forced lunch and bus trip instead of the full refund that was initially offered in their email. This wasted a whole day of our holiday which we could have enjoyed back in Hanoi as soon as Amanda cruise company knew we were unable to sail that day. Communication and organization of busses and taxi in Hanoi from Amanda cruise was terrible, I will not be re-booking with them when I return to Vietnam.

We were on the Rita cruise for 2 days/1 night. A highly recommended experience, incredible scenery, beautiful cruise, fun activities, and excellent service from the staff, with a special mention for Hana, who was attentive to every detail of the group members, especially those of us who have specific dietary requirements.
