My sister and I booked a 2.5hr beach ride with Michelle and her colleague Chantelle whilst on holiday in Cape Town. We were met with so much warmth and excitement! Michelle’s horses are gorgeous and have wonderful temperaments and we always felt safe galloping down the beach. We took a stunning ride with my dad, sister and son on Michelle's beautiful Friesian horses. Riding through the beautiful scenery around Rhebokskloof. Michelle's horses are in stunning condition, well trained and love taking us on gallops up the hills. This is what horse riding is all about!

When in Cape Town and looking for a great horse riding experience, Wine Valley Adventures is the one you are looking for. Set in the Paarl Valley at the Rhebokslook Estate, they offer various types of riding activities for all sorts of riders. Beginners will have fun while feeling safe and secure under a watchful eye. Novice riders will learn to experience a little more, while experienced riders will not be disappointed. The trails are spectacular and manageable, the horses are well schooled and are a joy to ride, the view is amazing and the experience leaves you breathless. If you think the drive from Cape Town may be quite a distance (under an our - depending on the traffic), think again because it is worth it. Besides, the views along the last half of the drive is all scenery. You can't help but take it all in. And when you ride off to the sunset, the view is even better! Saddle up!

Whilst staying in Paarl, we were lookin for something a it different. We opted for a one and a half hour quad bike experience. It is well worth doing. We saw some fantastic scenery, toured the vineyards and climbed up as well as down on our quad biking which was quite testing, but manageable even for a novice.

Our large group of 12 just visited and had amazing time with Michelle and her staff.. don’t forget the 4 legged staff ( 3 dogs and some horses). The tour was gorgeous and adventurous!! I would highly recommend this tour!!

Our family of 5 had 1.5 hour tour of the local vineyards with some amazing views and scenery. Michelle was a wonderful host and ensured everyone felt at home and relaxed before we started the tour. We finished with a lovely lunch and some wine! Thoroughly recommend if you’re nearby.

Michelle provided my husband I with a beautiful and exhilarating ride while we vacationed in SA early September 2018. Fantastic fresian horses along with Michelle and her team gave us a ride we’ll always remember!

A truly special experience: sipping delicious wine, enjoying the incredible scenery of the mountains and vineyards while being driven in a carriage pulled by two magnificent Percheron horses. Truly wonderful. Highly recommended.

Wine tasting with a twist! First time myself and my husband did horse riding- great experience! Great guides that make you feel at ease. Amazing way to see the beautiful views on the vineyard. Experience was more about the horse riding as the wine tasting felt a bit rushed. We were given lovely local wines to taste but with limited discussion about them. However a thoroughly enjoyable day and would recommend it.

Had the most enjoyable time with Gavin , we did the 1 1/2 hour tour with Gavin and his two dogs , we enjoyed it to the maximum and will stay in our our memory for a long time . It's is a farm experience with horses and other animals , you would not be disappointed , an adventure .

We had an absolutely amazing quadbiking experience. We absolutely loved it and it was by far our favourite quadbiking experience we've ever been on. The views from the farm were breathtaking and going through the vineyards and the flowers was amazing. Having the 2 dogs accompany us the whole way, was also just the sweetest thing. We have told everyone we know, to go and do this ASAP.

Did the one hour ride through fantastic countryside and sunshine. Horses are very fit and well looked after, nice energy and very comfortable. Ride starts from picturesque older stables. This place stands apart from other horse riding providers because the horses are responsive, healthy, and not your typical trail horse. Each horse seems to have an interesting backstory (a well known movie star likely rode the same horse you're on!). Michelle's stories of travel and work in the film industry keep you entertained on the ride. Was a fantastic day out for kids and adults when paired with lunch and vino on the beautiful lawn at Under Oaks pizzeria nearby.

Michelle and her team create very special memorable experiences for their guests. I have joined Michelle on many a stunning outride in the winelands, Cape Hunt Club awesome adventures and most recently a very special ride on the pristine Grotto Bay beach for my two year weeding anniversary! I went for a 1 hour ride with Michelle today. It was so great to be back on a horse that is not a trail horse but a real horse with its own character. Michelle really matches horse and rider well depending on riding ability. We trotted and cantered up the lovely vineyards enjoying the views and good talks. Can only recommend. One can combine with a visit to one of the close by wine farms, Rhebokskloof, Ridgeback, Under Oaks. Good value for money. Sh also offers carriage drives and quad biking. Oh and I mustnt forget the lovely company of dogs on the farm.
