We had an absolutely incredible time in Ethiopia with Arre! We spent three amazing days in the Danakil Depression, two days trekking to the Tigray churches (highly recommend!), and one day in Axum. Since we had a bit more time available than the four days in the description, Arre was able to adjust the itinerary, allowing us to make the most of our trip. Every part of the journey was well-planned and perfectly organized. We always felt safe, comfortable, and completely taken care of. I recently returned from a 17-days trip in Ethiopia with my two children, where Arre Tours helped organise our itinerary. The tour included Addis, Danakil Depression, Erta Ale volcano, Tigray churches, Axum, Simien Mountains trekking, Gondar, Lalibela and Omo Valley. I have to say that I was blown away by the exceptionel service, knowledge, understanding, flexibility, generousity and kindness of the two brother - Solomon and Arre - running Arre Tours. From the first to the last day everything was extremely well organised and the company is trustworthy and very responsive to questions and ideas. In a country like Ethiopia, things often do not go according to plan. Planes are delayed, cars break down, etc, but even in these instances Arre Tours were on top of the situation, and always sorted out the issues before it became a problem. I therefore have no hesitation wholeheartedly recommending Arre Tours. Their base is in Tigray and Addis Ababa, and they specialise in the northern part of Ethiopia, but since they have partners in most other regions, they can organise tours all over the country.

While living in Addis I had the opportunity of traveling with Arre Tours twice, first to Tigray for a 4 days tour during Ethiopian Easter and afterwards to Danakil Depression for 3 days in December. We went to Axum, Adwa, and surrounding mountains, Yeha and Gheralta with Arre and we had a wonderful time. Arre is a wonderful tour guide and he planned, prepared and implemented the tour perfectly. We did the 4 days hiking in simien mountain, Arre has a good team, we had a wonderful time during the hike, only the weather was a bit cold, and the sleeping bag was not warm enough, otherwise was perfect.
