We arrived at Cairns airport for our first holiday to Australia from the UK. As soon as we left customs we were met by Trevor who instantly made us feel welcome and reassured, very welcome after 24hrs travelling. It was an incredibly smooth transfer from Cairns to Port Douglas, Trevor was incredibly professional in his driving and also provided local Knowledge and guidance on the route which was really interesting. When we arrived in Port Douglas he took extra time to show us a few key landmarks so we had our bearings, including the viewing point which took our breath away. He really did go above and beyond and really cared about his job and Australia. Highly recommend using this company, I can honestly say that this was the perfect start to our trip. Thank you Trevor, we really appreciated all you did for us.

Edric collected us at Cairns airport. He was easy to find, with the desk in the arrivals hall so helpful. Immediately he put us at ease with his relaxed approach and he was parked directly outside. He asked if it was our first time to Cairns and when we told him it was and our first time in Australia, he asked if we would like to hear more about the area. When we said yes, he spent the whole trip to Port Douglas telling us everything we needed to know. It was very informative with some funny stories thrown in too. We were dropped off directly outside our accommodation in Port Douglas, much the wiser about what to expect on our holiday, thanks to Edric.

My wife and I used this service to and from Freestyle Resort in Port Douglas. On our first journey, the driver was the delightful Idris (pictured) 🤗 and we thoroughly enjoyed his engaging and conversational approach (if a little too soft spoken at times). The ride was very comfortable too. Conversely, we had an uncomfortable return journey a few days later, with the mostly uncommunicative Fred; who focussed instead on driving far too fast enroute to Cairns' airport❗

Everyone was very friendly to me, and the trip was comfortable and safe. They even managed to get me on a slightly earlier ride when I got in earlier than expected!

A great example of how one star one person review can affect a business on Yelp. This airport transfer was first class both ways. Mark collected us and Philip dropped us off. Very friendly couple of guys and very accommodating when our teenage son forgot to retrieve his device on both occasions. Well done guys. Great service both ways.

Not what we expected. Instructions said that our driver would meet us at our location. No one was. I called and was told to go to the Exemplar desk (not sure how I was supposed to know that) she said Arie would be waiting at parking spot 15. He wasn’t. I checked back and she said he was on his way and I mentioned the instructions I was given and was told that was 2 years old. No one was very anxious to help us.

A big shout out to the drivers! Scott transferred us from the airport to Port Douglas. He narrated our journey and recommended things to do in Port Douglas and Cairns. His suggestions turned out to be perfect for our interests and really enhanced our visit. This could have been a routine transport and instead it was a lively visit with a newfound friend.

We had a great trip with Trevor to Silky Oaks! He was pleasant, informative about the area and a very good driver. We highly recommend Exemplar and Trevor!

We used Exemplar to get from Cairns Airport to Silky Oaks Lodge. Our driver, Trevor, was wonderful. Of course he was on-time and the ride was comfortable. But what impressed us was his knowledge of the area and friendly conversation. Unqualified recommendation!

Very easy to book shuttle and submit payment. It was also easy to find desk/personnel at airport on landing at Port Douglas. Highly professional and courteous staff. My driver Rory was personable, kind, and efficient! I would highly recommend this company for your airport transfer needs!

Over half an hour late arriving at the airport to pick us up for the transfer. No apology. Nobody came to tell us what was happening during the delay. The bus that was there when we reached the bay (20 minutes early) turned out to be for a private hire, as we were curtly told by a very rude staff member. Welcome to Far North Queensland!

From booking on the phone with a friendly and helpful assistant to our affable driver Edric arriving early this morning at our Cairns hotel, in his extremely clean and comfortable large Mercedez, through to his humorous & entertaining banter and tour guide information on our drive to our resort at Port Douglas. What a wonderful start to our holiday. Such a pleasure.

Had a great experience with Ross. He was on time, friendly & very informative along the way to Cairns. Ross explained and pointed out the damage from the previous cyclone & we even got to see a Crocodile he showed us while it was swimming across the creek! Great experience, was like having your own tour guide!
