      So Much Fun
Great way to see Chicago and its beautiful skyline. Enjoyed this with my family. Our tour guides were patient and easy to talk to.

      horrible experience - non professionals
It was an horrible experience, have a look : - Bike&Roll can rent a bike for a full week but gives nothing to repair (at least for cases of flat tyre). It was not negociable - When taken, the seat was well adjusted to the right length, but the screw was not enough strengthened. So after 1 mile, it went down and I got to come back to the shop. This can happen, I agree, but less with professionals. Once back at the shop, we could see that the screw of the seat clamp was round (dull), so we could not strengthen it. The first issue was that Bike&Roll go no spare parts. So I asked her to exchange the seat clamp with another bike, but this proposal was not accepted. I've also proposed to do it myself. I was near to cancel the rental at this time. So I asked for another bike with the same size. There was none available, so I asked for the size below. When the bike came to me, I could see that the two tyres were flat, so the bike was inoperable. Then I asked again for taking the seat clamp on this bike, this was finally accepted. Hopefully, because it was my last chance, otherwise I got to cancel the rental. - The bike given was at least 10 year old, and tyres were more than 50% used. You cannot be really satisfied when you pay more than $200 for a rental, with all these issues

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Reserved bikes online through their site. They charged me. I received no email confirmation. When I tried to call I got the answering machine. I went to the Navy Pier location and was told I had to go to the Millennium Park location, which was "right on the bike path," according to the person working at Navy Pier. After about 30 minutes we found the location - not on the bike path but on Michigan Avenue. It was closed (this is about 45 minutes after the start of our reservation time) again, no one answers the phone. We went back to Navy Pier and were told, "Oh yeah, they called us - they aren't coming in today - sorry." I was not allowed to talk to anyone in charge. They gave me the general email if I had questions. I was told my refund will take up to a week. No one bothered to call me to tell me that they were canceling my reservation. In the end we just took the Divvy Bikes, and that is really a much better call because you can keep them as long as you want and return to different locations. Yes the bikes aren't as nice, but riding that bike was not as nearly frustrating as dealing with this company.

Fun ride! Would not have been able to see so many sights up close if we had not been on the segway. Plus we got some time to just play!

Great, but way too large of a group
Great tour and even greater tour guide. Ivory was awesome with a great sense of humour. BUT, we had 15 people in our group and that was waaaay too many. We've done Segway tours numerous times and the most we have had was abou 8 people. 15 is just not condusive to a riding group tour. 35-40 minutes was spent at the beginning for each person to learn/practice on the segways. Thankfully our tour time was extened a bit, but we had other events planned afterward that were rushed. Highly recommend...as long as the group is a reasonably size.

      Electric bike rental
We rented the electric bikes for the day. We walked in, stated what we wanted to rent and we were fitted for two bikes. We were offered helmets as well. We rented with the intention of riding up Lake Shore Drive to Edgewater. We then rode over to Clark street and wanted to see some of the neighborhoods and see Wrigley Field. One of the bikes battery went dead. It meant having to pedal manually back to the Michigan Ave. store from Roger’s Park area. I called and spoke to someone at the Navy Pier location and all they could say was sorry that happened and offered to refund the rental for that bike. CAVEAT: if you think you are going to ride more than 25 miles on an electric bike, be sure to know that the battery could go dead. Thankfully, one of us was in good enough shape to manually ride the bike back. My hubby has some leg issues and needed the electric bike so we were fortunate that one one battery went dead. Again, rental was fine except for the battery issue. I would think that for customer service in the future, that if one couldn’t manually pedal an electric bike back to the store, that they would pick you up. That was never offered. Otherwise, we had a grand time riding along the lake and seeing some neighborhoods.

      Convenient location, decent bikes
Super convenient location if you're starting anywhere near the South Loop/Loop/Millenium Park. The Trek bikes were decent enough for a short ride on the lakefront path, and they had various sizes/models including kids' bikes and road bikes. Staff member who set us up was efficient and got us on our way pretty quickly with bikes, helmets and locks. Pricey for an hour but the longer rental intervals seem fairly priced for something available right in the middle of the city.

A must do when in Chicago
Great time. We were a group of 5 with 3 first timers. Our guide (Noz) was great. He took the time to train the newbies and was patient with the other group that was 40 minutes late. There was a festival going on so negotiating the crowds was tough but he found alternate routes to hit the best sights. Thank you Noz, we had the best time!

A great way to spend a few free hours in Chicago!
I have been to Chicago many times, and thought I’d seen it all! Little did I know, but I learned and saw new things I never knew about. My brother and I took the Segway tour on a chilly, but sunny morning, with Vincent leading the way. He was full of interesting facts and stories. He was also a conscientious guide for people who have never ridden a Segway before, training us, and monitoring us throughout the tour. If you’ve never ridden a Segway, don’t be concerned, this incredible technology will have you riding around town like an expert in no time! if you’re in Chicago, with a free few hours, I thoroughly recommend this tour.

      Fun experience biking
Great place to rent a bike. We tried the small quadcycle - it is heavier and less fun than I expected. I would stick to the normal bikes which I did previously and found to be much more enjoyable. Bikes are well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful with ideas on where to go.

      BEST Adventure in the City
This was the absolute BEST adventure in Chicago! My colleagues and I brought a small group of high school students on the Segway tour while in town for a STEM Student Showcase event. Vincent was such a great tour guide and made this a phenomenal bonding time for our group. The young people had so much fun that they want to do it again asap; and they were all very apprehensive! Vincent - thank you so very much for this unforgetable experience.

      Highlight of our Chicago trip!
One of the highlights of our entire trip! Great for teens. Fantastic views and photo stops. Enjoyed breezing through the beautiful parks and museum campuses. Tasted rainbow ice cream cones. Our tour guide Ivori was very personable and knowledgeable about the city. Would absolutely repeat this experience when we come again.

      A must do!!
My 17 yr/o daughter and I went and had a blast! Iris was great & told us a lot about what we were visiting. Only downside is we did this in April and the temp was only 49, it was pretty chilly!! We will definitely do this again when we visit in a warmer month.

We had a great time due to our amazing tour guide Joel. My kids ages 10 to 17 loved racing around and seeing the sites. Plenty of photo opportunities and we even stopped for snacks! We will definitely be doing this tour again! Thanks Joel!

Jay and Jason were helpful, informative and hilarious. They made sure everyone was safe, felt safe and had a blast. The views on a clear night were breathtaking and they were always more than willing to take any photos for us. The only thing I would say could be improved is not all the headlights on the segways lit up and at the end it got very dark and was hard to see. They had flashlights and led the way but would have been helpful if all the segway lights worked. Would DEFINITELY recommend! Thanks Jason and Jay!

An evening my family will always remember. We saw a good bit of the sights along the lake. Had lots of opportunities for great pictures. Our guide Lenny was knowledge and friendly! He made the tour fun. It was my first time on a Segway and it was easy to maneuver! I highly recommend this activity when in Chicago!

This was the second time doing segways and it beat the awesome time we had done prior in St Augustine! What a great way to see a bit of Chicago, learn some history, and see a beautiful sunset! Bring a bottle of water and maybe even a sweater/jacket and you will have a great time. AJ was our tour guide and he did an wonderful job of keeping us together and moving the tour at a comfortable pace. The first 1/2 hour could be boring if you’ve done segways before because you have to wait for everyone to get a quick lesson. Then you are off to a fantastic experience!

We had a great time! First time riders and it was so easy to get the hang of riding the Segway. The weather was beautiful and the tour was longer than I had anticipated. We covered alot of ground, from Millennium Park to Soldier Field. Made several stops for awesome pictures of the city and lakefront and a pit stop for food too. Our tour guides David and Sean were great and very patient teaching us newbies. The staff at Bike and Ride - Chicago is very nice and helped me fix my booking mistake. The only downside was the city was setting up for Lollapalooza so we were unable to stop at Buckingham Fountain which I was looking forward to.

This is the way to see the city. This was a few of our families first time on a segway, and it was easy to get the hang of it. Our tour guide was Vincent, he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, and always concerned with our safety first. We will take this trip again next summer.
