Second City Classic Tour
Aug 2019
We had a great time on the Second City Classic with Dave as our host. It was fun to try Chicago deep-dish pizza and experience the phenomenon of Wow Bao. So cool! I had never seen anything like that before! Our favorite stop was by far the tea shop, where we gained such a wealth of knowledge. Be sure to check out this tour, you won't be disappointed!

Birthday Weekend Fun
Enjoyed a fun Saturday with Amber and my daughter today. Amber brought lots of energy and knowledge as well as some fun tastes of Chicago. It was the perfect mix of tastes. Be sure to wear comfy shoes. There’s plenty to see. And you won’t go away hungry. It was a great way to see some of the city’s beautiful architecture too. Well worth it!

Love that deep dish!
Aug 2019
My husband and I took this tour with Dave a few weekends ago. Dave did an excellent job. He handled the transitions with ease and took time to individually talk to each of us. We really enjoyed the variety of foods on this tour. The educational talk in the tea shop was very informative. I would suggest anyone interested in meeting new people who enjoys food to try this tour.

Interesting tour!
We had a great time on our tour with Amber, but the content was not quite as expected. We certainly knew the food/restaurants (and enjoyed all of those stops), but we were expecting more cultural/immigrant history in the tour. We weren't necessarily interested in the tea making process, nor fudge making. Likewise, it would be beneficial to the businesses and attendees alike if 5-10 minutes were actually given in these shops to actually shop. Participants were given coupons to return after the tour, but I would guess with long sightseeing agendas, people won't return. The guide was extremely friendly and had a wealth of information, but at times it felt like she had too much script she needed to present and had to pack literally every second in with script (leaving hardly any time for anyone to chat/meet other participants). Overall good value, just not what we anticipated.
