First and most importantly, thank you to Angela for being so accommodating. My stay in Boise was short as I was attending a conference, and with all the latest flight delays I was hesitant to buy non-refundable tickets, but at the end we were able to make the tour and it didn't disappoint! The group was small, 8 people for the 4pm, so the conversation was easy, with the tour guide asking interesting questions. First stop was a pizza place. I'm not a pizza fan, but this place made me change my mind. No tomato sauce and a very crisp and light sourdough dough. Spicy sausage and hot honey? Yes please. Next one, a friendly brewery with spicy pulled pork sandwiches, followed by an awesome salad at a fancy restaurant, and finishing with boozy icecream at a food hall. And the ticket includes the cocktail pairings! One of the best food tours we've taken in a long time, highly recommended.

Wow! That's amazing Nalalita! We love hearing that your experience on our BoDo on the Greenbelt Savor & Sip tour was one of the best food tour experiences you've enjoyed. Glad you enjoyed the delicious tastings & beverage samplings at each location. Angela & our team were happy to make sure things worked out! Thanks for joining us!

My girlfriend and I had a great time on the tour. Our guide, Bob, was very well informed and friendly. He was great about giving us space when we were eating so it didn't feel like we were being watched like hawks while trying to eat. He had plenty of information about the history of Boise and the restaurants we went to. My only complaint was that we paid for the alcohol paired tour but we didn't actually get any alcohol. I would have mentioned but I didn't realize until the second to last stop. Not a big deal, regardless, I would recommend clarifying at the beginning. Aside from that it was a fantastic tour and we are definitely going to be attending another one.

Glad you & your girlfriend had a great time on the tour....learning about the history of Boise and enjoying the tastings. We apologize for you not receiving the alcohol pairing, which must have been an oversight on our part and is usually discussed during check-in. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Nonetheless, we appreciate your graciousness & are glad you had a fantastic tour.

The tour had a great variety of food; you won't leave hungry. A favorite was the stop in the Basque neighborhood. It's also a great mini overview of downtown Boise, so you can learn some history and get a few photo ops. I ended up being the only one on the tour, but my tour guide was fun to talk to, making it feel like walking and eating with a new friend.

I just moved down to Boise from California. Since my 21 year old son was visiting, we decided to try this tour. We were the only two participants during the tour which was a little disappointing because we were hoping to connect with others. Bob was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable. Wonderful range of culinary choices and presentation of the Boise culture. Loved so many things about this experience. However, the biggest disappointment was during our dining experience at the Mai Tai restaurant. The decor and ambiance was great and the food would have been even better if it wasn’t cold. It appeared the food had been sitting for awhile before we arrived and therefore was a big let down. Decided to box up the rest of the cold food. On the plus side, this gave us more stomach room to enjoy the delectable sweet treats from The Chocolat Bar.

Welcome to Boise 372karieh and thanks for taking our tour while your son was visiting. We are glad that you enjoyed the tour overall and your experience with Bob & apologize for the cold food at one of the restaurants. Appreciate you looking at the upside of that (saving more room for the gourmet chocolate) and hope you were able to enjoy the food later. Again, glad to hear you loved so many things about the tour and hope you are enjoying your move to the Treasure Valley.

What a perfect 3 hours in Boise! This cultural culinary tour far exceeded my expectations! I'm guessing it will be hard to beat anywhere. Well paced. Seven culinary experiences plus education on other possibilities. Lots of Boise/Idaho education. Any question that was asked was greeted with an in depth interested answer. Evangel was an exceptional tour host. Delicious food. Loved the stories behind each establishment. I followed the rules and came hungry, however I was grateful for the bag given at the front end of the tour for doggy bags. I enjoyed tasty food the next day. This is my first culinary tour however it won't be my last. Thank you for a very special event!

Four of us took this tour a few days ago. It far exceeded our expectations. My sister, a foodie and wonderful cook, who has taken food tours in many cities across the US, said this was one of the best. We experienced tastings from 8 locations - all delightful and delicious. The stops included Wild Root, Bacon, Guru Donuts, the Basque Market, Mai Thai, Chocolat Bar, to name some. The tastings were amazing and we all would visit these locations again. Two of our group were local, two from out of town. The tour impressed all; for out of towners, it is a great way to experience more restaurants than one could in a day by oneself. Highly recommend. Our guide Michael was delightful.

Had a wonderful day on the Indulge Boise Food Tour. Being somewhat of a picky eater I didn't have high hopes that I would try everything on the tour. I was wrong, I even tried duck and Thai food, 2 things I never thought I would try. They were both delicious! Everything we had was amazing and fresh. Michael, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly, he made the tour fun and informative about Boise's history. I would highly recommend this tour for out-of-towners or even locals that have never done it. My friends that live here were excited to try new restaurants they didn't know about and plan on going back to most of them.

Bob was knowledgeable and fun. Our first visit was a small biscuit with toppings. Not bad. Our second was an olive oil store with small tastings with bread. Not fun. Third stop was bacon very good. Next stop two small pieces of a donut. Not very tasty. Seemed like the olive oil and donut shops were a commercial to sell their product. The chocolate store was nice but I felt I could walk in from the street and get the same samples for free. We paid extra for the alcohol with our food and were given three thimble sized drinks. For the price we paid it was unacceptable. We paid way too much for a small amount of food and drink. Won't make that mistake again. The photos that advertise this the food and drinks are enlarged. I feel ripped off. Oh well all in all a sad 38th anniversary present for my wife.

Hey Kenneth B, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, your experience is very different from the thousands of guests we have hosted on our tours who applaud the ample portions and hearty meal portion sizes that we provide on our tours. We, along with our tasting partners, have committed to offering more than just bite-sized tasting & sips and guests consistent speak to how much they appreciate the generous portions that we provide, which includes a full donut, cocktails that are larger than you alluded to, and an experience in an olive oil & balsamic taproom that oftentimes receives great feedback. While we are surprised at your disappointment, we appreciate the feedback & will continue to assess our tours, so that guests understand the tremendous value we offer. Thanks for taking a tour in celebration of your 38th anniversary. Congratulations on your anniversary!

We took this 3 hour downtown Boise cultural and culinary tour in June. There were 6 of us on the tour altogether and we therefore got to know each other over tastings. We visited 6 places in total: Wild Root cafe, Olivin, Bacon, Guru Donuts, Mai tai, The Chocolate Bar and The Basque Market. My favourite taster was at Bacon but they were all good. We returned to Olivin to buy some of their fabulous balsamics after the tour. I was concerned that I might be tired walking for 3 hours but the time just flew by and there was sitting down during most of the tastings. We also visited the graffiti walls which we loved. Very interesting to also learn about the Basque Market/culture. So I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a taste of Boise food and culture.
