About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- mandrewh20250 contributionsA Thrilling Five Day Wildlife Experience!Safari360's 5-day wildlife galore safari is truly a must-take if only for once! Our guide, Godlove, was very friendly and experienced, who made every moment enjoyable. We have been to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. The most exciting moment of the safari was watching a lioness go hunting, which would be one of the highlights of our entire tour. The lodges and camps were comfortable, the food was fantastic, and the service at Safari360 was impeccable. For those who want a short but thrilling safari, this is the ideal package!Written February 8, 2025
- nouies0 contributionsThe amazing safari is much more stunning than anticipated..Safari360's 3-day top-notch Tanzania Safari was an unforgettable experience for us! Due to time constraints, we were looking for a short but exciting safari, and this package was perfect. Our guide, Amosie, was an experienced and friendly person who provided us with a great experience throughout the trip. We went to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. I saw huge herds of elephants in Tarangire, numerous lions and cheetahs in Serengeti, and the Big Five with rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater!Written February 3, 2025
- davidbT1049KF0 contributionsAmazing adventureHad an amazing 11 day adventure from Safari 360. From the initial booking with minor adjustments to complete my personal wish list Petro did a fantastic job working out all the details and checking off my wish list. After meeting Bakari my tour guide and driver for my safari we embarked on fascinating journey through numerous national parks and the beautiful landscape of Tanzania. We managed to see the big 5 and drive through what seemed like hundreds of thousands of Wildebeests, Zebras and other animals within the great migration. The finally of the trip was an exhilarating day hike in Mount Kilimanjaro. Well done to all the Folks at Safari 360 and especially my guide Bakari.Written January 31, 2025

- Flyer642780421800 contributionsAvoid Safari360 LikeThe Plague!I have been to Kenya and Tanzania a number of times. This trip that I booked with Safari360 was my worst experience ever. I almost lost my life because Petro Kazi runs a business that uses totally filthy, substandard and unsafe vehicle, and crowns it with unprofessional drivers to take unsuspecting travelers for a ride. The first jeep that I was sent did not have any working seat belts. The windows or doors did not open from the inside, and had to pried open from the outside by the Driver, whenever needed. The first 2 seater jeep was filthy, smelled, and had one "functional" seat, but no seat belts. The driver had the switch to open and close the windows as the switches by the windows were inoperable. He smashed my fingers in the window a total of 4 times as he could not control the switch. When I asked for a replacement vehicle, I was sent a 6 seater Toyota Range Rover. At first I was relieved when I saw it from the outside. However very soon I learned that it was no different from the first vehicle. I was basically made to jump from the frying pan into the fire. This vehicle had totally broken seats, no seat belts on any of the seats, and again doors and windows that were not operable from the inside, The vehicle appeared never to have been cleaned from the inside, but worst of all, various parts of this poorly maintained jeep kept breaking down. We had a total of 4 break downs with issues ranging from the rear axle, to the shock absorbers and followed by the struts. The final blow was when the brakes failed. The driver had to pull into mechanic shops at remote villages where we spent between 2 to 4 hours getting the repair work done. Petro Kazi, and his partner, who provides the transport did not approve any fuel purchase along the way. As per his calculations he had provided enough fuel for the entire journey. At no point had he taken into consideration the lousy and treacherous road conditions and other factors that could and did affect the "mpg or kpg." I had to pay for the gas out of pocket as it was either that or be stuck in the middle of nowhere. The height of indifference and couldn't careless attitude on the part of Petro Kazi and his partner towards the safety of the Driver and me was reached when the brakes of the Range Rover failed as we were descending towards a valley on a very steep hill with a 7% grade, as the posted signs showed. We would have ended in a head on collision with a truck that was going the opposite direction because the bus behind the truck decided to pass him without bothering to see if it was safe to do. The road, was very narrow in both directions. How we did not have a fatal collision with failed brakes is still a mystery to me,and gives me the creeps till today. Your entire life truly flashes before your eyes at that moment. After this incident we drove downhill to the very next village at 5kph. We were fortunate to find a mechanic who spent 3 hours fixing the brakes. I have never had such a harrowing trip anywhere in the world since I have been traveling. Please do not use Safari360. Petro Kazi's only objective is to make money. Period! He is an unscrupulous, unethical and unprofessional Safari Tour operator. Your safety is never on his mind ever. I am now even more inspired to file a complaint with Angellah Kairuki, the Minister in charge at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. I wonder if the Tanzanian Department of Tourism that issues Safari Operator licenses are even aware of how poorly and outright dangerously some of the businesses are run. Tourism being a very important source of Tanzania's income, I am sure they will be interested to learn about the "Petro's"of their country. That is something worth looking into. Buyer Beware.Written January 21, 2025
- meganbZ3249OK0 contributionsThe best safariWow wow wow - what a trip we had. We booked this back in January 2024 and Pedro was so helpful and responsive throughout the booking process. Later on we wanted to add a hot air balloon which was no issues whatsoever and organised very swiftly. We arrived in Kilimanjaro and our bags never arrived. Lameck came to help straight away sorting it out with the airport staff. He stayed in touch with them throughout and got our bags delivered to the middle of Serengeti which was such a big help as we had no service and couldn’t speak the language. Now for the trip - Lameck has a great eye for animals and can see from very far away which was insane. We went on the four days three nights safari which is absolutely perfect. We took a several hour journey down to Lake Natron which was interesting after a 15 hour flight but once we arrived it was worth it. We did a hike up a waterfall which was very needed and then walked down to Lake Natron to see the flamingos we also got lucky and saw some baboons and zebras on route. We checked into our lovely glamping spot for the night. Food was lovely and the glamping spot was beautiful. The next day we headed off to Serengeti another 5 hour journey but we got to see a lot of animals on the way. We then had a lovely lunch before entering Serengeti. We got to see a full pack of lions which we amazing, lots of Zebras, buffalo’s, giraffes, elephants and a cheetah. We then went to our stunning tented camping area in the middle of Serengeti. They had the bed all set up for our honeymoon with some wine which was really appreciated and our bags finally arrived. We hit the hay very early as we were up at 4 for the hot air balloon ride. The hot air balloon ride was so surreal - we got so lucky on the drive there and saw a leopard out hunting a long with three lions. The company that organise the hot air balloon were amazing - the breakfast was stunning and they had a special cake for us for our honeymoon. It was then time to head to Ngorongoro Crater. Magic. We saw lots of male lions and even saw a male lion protecting a female lion in heat. There was tons tons of zebras and wilderbeast. We were running out of time and still hadn’t seen a rhino. We went to a viewpoint on route to hotel and Lameck got the binoculars out and found one. Going above and beyond to make sure we saw the big five. We stayed in a lovely hotel that night and got a good nights sleep. Next was our final day which we were very sad about. We went to Taringine Park were we saw a mummy lion feeding her two babies and a mummy elephant bathing her babies. It was just magical. It was then time to go back to the airport. We loved every minute and can’t thank Lameck enough. He had so much information to share with us, a great eye and just so nice to spend our first few days of our honeymoon with. We will be forever grateful. Thank you!Written January 3, 2025
- Ronbz0 contributionsThe best experience with the best company!Wow, what an experience! Petro took care of everything from a to z, We were licky to have dicent (vicente) as our guide. Probably the best guide there is in the whole area. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and the ecosystem enhanced our experience immensely. Godlove is not only a careful driver, ensuring our safety while navigating challenging terrain, but he also possesses a keen eye for spotting animals. Throughout our trip, he shared fascinating insights, making each sighting even more meaningful. Thanks to Godlove, we had an unforgettable adventure filled with learning and wonder. - Ariel-is-coming0 contributionsThe right company to choose. Wished we would of taken a longer tour!We had an amazing 5 day tour with Idi, and we enjoyed it very much! We recommend this company, as they are very reliable, informative, responsive and go amazing length to satisfy. Planning the trip was easy, petro answered all of our questions, made changes to the trip according to our requests, upgraded us for no extra cost on the first night accommodation, and most importantly, helped me plan a beautiful proposal! They did it so discreetly my fiancé never suspected anything! The cars are very well built, we had outlets for charging and a fridge for our drinks. All of our bags were safely buckled and covered so won't get dusty. The only things I would say are missing was some hot drinks and Internet connection on the roads (some other companies have WiFi in the cars, and would bring a picnic box to keep the lunch warm and hot water for coffee or tea). The AC didn't work in the jeep but honestly was not necessary as the weather was perfect, and on the long drive from the airport to the safari we were driven in a taxi which was comfortable, we were able to catch some sleep. The guide we had was a natural, took us where we wanted, show to all the animals, great choice in hiring him! he even gave us really good binoculars so we were able to have a great game drive. We had the most amazing time, don't hesitate, this is the right company to pick for an amazing experience of one in a lifetime.Written September 30, 2024
- RachelG5940 contributionsAmazing safari experienceWe have just returned from a fantastic safari arranged by safari 360. They arranged everything for us and came up with an incredible itinerary. All communication with them prior to our departure was swift, courteous and helpful so when we set off our expectations were high. Our expectations were met and surpassed. Our guide, Amos met us at the airport. Amos stayed with us throughout. He was our driver, guide and expert animal and bird spotter. He was polite, friendly and we were very happy to spend time with him. Amos showed us animals we didn’t think we had any chance of seeing and tried his hardest to find us rhinos and complete the big 5. Amos made sure our holiday was truly a once in a lifetime incredible experience! The accommodation arranged was brilliant, most were tented camps and far more luxurious than we were expected. All had en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, even in the middle of the Serengeti. The food was great, mainly buffet style with plenty of variety and as much as we wanted to eat. Lunches were packed lunch style, but there was plenty of it. All in all, we had an amazing time and we would recommend the company and particularly Amos. Thank you all for making our experience superb.Written September 30, 2024
- R2331ALdavidj0 contributionsthe trip of my life!Hello hello, I am writing this review with all my heart. This trip has changed our lives. We couldn't have imagined beforehand what we were letting ourselves in for. After getting around 25 offers from various companies, we finally booked a private safari (6 days) for two with Safari360. And I don't know how I can put into words what we experienced. We have never experienced so many highlights in such a short time. We received a beautiful, individual plan from Petro beforehand and what we experienced was even better than we expected. We were picked up on time by our guide Godlove at our lodge and at that moment strangers slowly became friends. In six days we have taken him into our hearts. He has such good expertise and is fully passionate about it. He chooses routes away from the crowded paths and often tries to surprise us with views and rare animals, which he succeeds in doing every time. He speaks perfect English, so I could understand him well even with my basic skills. It was an honor for us to be guided by him. He is probably one of the best guides in this country. All I can say about the choice of accommodation is: unique. We had a wow moment every evening. These lodges are fantastic and animals walked past our tent even at night. The safari never ended. And the national parks are all so different. Tarangire, Ngorongoro or Serengeti. You can't compare them. They are all unique. Everything went wonderfully with our safari vehicle (Toyota Landcruiser), it took us reliably and comfortably over 1000 kilometers over the rough roads. I can recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Africa. The money is absolutely worth every cent. Thank you for organizing and carrying out everything so perfectly. Asanta Sana! - LoveTravel5644410 contributionsBest trip ever - big recommendationWe did the 6-Day Tarangire, Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Safari, it was our first Safari ever and we didn't know what to expect or how it will be but we couldn't have imagined that it will be that good! The trip was perfectly organized from start to finish, we saw so many beautiful places and our guide Godlove is simply unbeatable as a guide. He has such good expertise and is a wonderful person. We learned so many things from him, the communication was really easy and we could really see how much effort he put in the whole trip. We really liked all the lodges we stayed in and felt in goods hands the wohle time. It is impossible to list our highlights because there were so many every day. He really made that trip special for us and we just want to say thank you so much for such an outstanding trip, we will definitely come back. Asante sana!Written September 25, 2024

We visited Tarangire, Central & Northern Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Denis made every effort to ensure we had the best experience. - Pathfinder7406870 contributionsAmazing ExperienceIt was the best for our first safari experience. Our guide Bakari was very friendly and had a rich and deep knowledge of almost every animal in the safari. He is also very active in finding animals and has his own skills. The accommodation was perfect, and the unexpected upgrade was also great. If I visit Tanzania again, I will definitely go with Safari 360.Written September 15, 2024
- 742aurelijap0 contributionsDream SafariOnly best we can say about Safari360 agency and recommend as trustful agency. Our individual itinerary was 7 days/7 nights for group of 6 adults, 23 June 2024. Before starting the dreamy Safari, the agency manager Petro came from the very morning on the first day of the trip himself to meet and discuss all the details despite it was agreed earlier, answer our questions and introduce our future travel companion driver/guide Idi 😊 All overnights places were very nice. Beautiful and peaceful, comfortable. Only best feedback about all hosts. Each evening and morning were breath taking 😊 Our guide Idi work with passion. You even do not notice how and when Idi is doing his job 😊 he plans each day for you to make you see all the best and much as possible to spot every day 😊 We spotted a lot of animals. Big five multiple times 😊 It is impossible to convey, to express our feelings that we experienced on this trip. Everything was planned well 😊 Thank you, Idi and Petro. This memorable journey will always stay in our hearts. Best wishes to all of you!Written August 4, 2024

We had a fabulous time on Safari with Safari360. It was nerve wracking to blindly wire money to a bank in Africa but everything worked out great. Petro was very responsive to emails and accommodating considering we could not confirm the trip until 4 days before arrival (we were late getting passports). Our driver Goddy was knowledgeable, competent and a great host and guide on this wonderful experience. We had incredible sightings of every animal on our list! The lodges we stayed at were comfortable and the food was amazing, especially at Eileens' Trees. (the final night at Fanaka was just so-so). Bottled water is provided in the safari van.
Be aware, as of now, Tanzania requires covid testing upon deplaning at the airport, even if you had it before leaving the US, and again before you fly out ($25/pp).
US dollars can be used everywhere in Tanzania but make sure to bring new clean bills and lots of small denominations.

I can’t rate this company and their tour guides high enough. We had the best experience of our lives and something that we will forever remember.
First of all our amazing tour guide/ driver Amos. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. We saw everything thanks to Amos! The big 5 and lots more….He was extremely knowledgeable and became a very good friend! He was an exceptional driver and we always felt very safe with him.
All the accommodation was fantastic. Each place we stayed was different and had its own charm. The food in each hotel was lovely with a good variety.
We struck lucky and we were the only ones on the tour with Amos. So spent the three as a 3 - the van was extremely good with power for charging phones/cameras. It was filled with bottled water which lasted the entire tour.
On the last day on the drive back to the airport we met the owner of the company Petro…. What a lovely man. He is extremely organised and helpful.
Thank you for the memories! We miss it!

Unbelievable experience from start to finish.
We had a VERY last minute holiday to Tanzania, booking 5-6 days before we were due to start. Having received several quotes for a 7 day safari, Petro and Safari360 stood out. Petro was very quick to respond, and had a very competitive price. Our driver Amos arrived well in time on our first morning, and our safari began. Amos was polite, a very safe driver and became a friend during our 7 day safari. We cannot say enough good things about Amos, he wanted us to see as many animals as possible, but we had low expectations just so that we were not disappointed if we didn't see much....however, we saw pretty much everything, this was partly down to Amos's determination (and also a lot of luck, Amos and the guides do a great job, but they're not magicians and can't just make animals appear out of thin air, remember that before leaving bad reviews people!!). The accomodation that had been booked for us as part of the package was all great. We met Petro on the last day by chance and had lunch with him, it was great to speak to him and I wish you all every success. Don't hesitate to book with this company!!!!!! Asante sana

The views were exciting and beautiful. The camp sites were better than I expected. The lunches were not good. After seeing the animals and driving on a bumpy road you want a good lunch. The carrot sandwich was creative but terrible. I also didn’t appreciate not being told going to the Musai village would be a fee. I had to pay when I arrived after they dressed me in there garments. Overall a excellent trip.

We made our 1st trip to Africa and used Safari360 as our tour guide. We took the 7 day tour they offer & added 2 extra days in case the airline caused any delays. Fortunately for us there weren't any airline problems. Petro was very good to quickly reply to all my questions and concerns. Our tour guide was Lameck and I believe you'd be hard pressed to find a better guide. His knowledge of the Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara was very impressive! Lameck also is very good atgetting you into the best position to view the animals. Since we added the extra days we used the first to tour Arusha. Lameck had a guy take us the Maasai market and around Arusha. He explained so much to us and helped us buying souvenirs. With Lameck you'll increase your chances of seeing a lot of animals and birds. We saw a lioness chase a Wildebeest and her baby but unfortunately for the lions family they didn't get to eat that time. We also saw a group of baboons when an outsider baboon came into their area and a fight ensued, it was quite an experience. He also took us to a Maasai village and were shown their huts & some of their daily life. We didn't know this was something we would be doing but really enjoyed the experience. By the end our tour we felt like we had made a good friend in Lameck. I highly recommend Safari360 as your safari tour guide.

Communication with Safari360 was professional, It was easy to work with Petro in planning the 6 day great migration trip in Serengeti National Park and an unforgettable day at Ngorongoro Crater. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by our host Petro who introduced us to Moses our guide who was with us for the rest of the tour.
He is an excellent driver which is important as some of the truck and bus drivers can push you off the paved roads, and the parks roads can get bumpy. His knowledge of excellent wildebeest crossing points in Serengeti gave us a nice front row views of the six crossings that we saw.
We had an amazing time at the tented camp located perfectly a short drive from River Mara. Aside from the wildebeest and zebras in the migration we saw many other animals like hyenas, lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, birds, hippos, crocodiles and rhinos.
Our trip exceeded all the expectations. It is such a wonderful lifetime memory

My friends and I had a marvelous time on our 7 day trip through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Petro our travel consultant had put everything perfectly and we couldn’t have a better guide than Martin who made our trip very interesting. He was always on time, very professional and knowledgeable about the animals and the environment. He was very keen not to disturb the many animals we came across, weaving the jeep carefully. He has a great personality and easily strikes conversation. We were all comfortable with him and he became a member of the gang. It was sad to say goodbye after 7 wonderful days with him. A huge vote of thanks to all who worked to make our trip phenomenal

This was such an incredible trip! We saw SO many animals. Godlove was our guide and he was wonderful. He cared about our safety at all times and was very knowledgeable about everything. He also showed that he cared a lot about the safety and well being of the animals in their natural environment. As well as he answered all our questions about the people and country of Tanzania. Such a magical place. I travel a lot and I’m typically not the person that goes back to do the same trip as it’s a huge world and I want to see as much as possible! But I would do a Safari like this over and over again! I can’t recommend it enough! We are from Canada and all our friends and family want to come and do the same trip now 😄

We had an amazing time and experience last month in Tanzania. We did the 7 days safari trough different national parks such as Tarangire national park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngrorogoro crater. Thanks to Safari360 and to our guide Iddi. Petro was very nice and i was in contact with him to plan our safari and he managed to do this perfectly. Our guide Iddi was also very nice, has a lot of knowledge and passion for animals and nature. Couldn't wish for a better guide then Iddi. We saw everything what we wanted to see (including the big 5) thanks to him and this trip was beyond our expectations.

Booked a 7 day safari as motivation for summitting Kilimanjaro, and it did not disappoint.
I was a bit overwhelmed with the number of companies offering a safari experience, and the sheer volume of messages received from them, but found Petro @ Safari360 to be of great help when choosing the Safari experience I wanted, after doing my research on timing, national parks etc. Petro very kindly came out to my hotel to go trough the plan and confirm all the details, face to face, ahead of my Trek, reassuring me all was good.
My guide, Godlove, was waiting for me in reception on the morning of day 1, and we set off for what I hoped would be a good safari. My only hope was to see one of the big 5 in particular. I saw all 5!! and had multiple encounters with the one I hoped for. Yes there are a couple of long drives during the week, but the scenery and landscape itself is amazing, and when entering the NP's or Conservation Area, the animal sightings just add to the wonder. Even on the rainiest day we had some extremely touching moments with the wildlife including a rare and private encounter with big elephant who allowed us to sit quietly, and very closely, in her company whilst she enjoyed breakfast. From morning encounters with hyenas to lazy afternoons with the lions I was humbled by all my sightings, both big and small. Even the dik-dik's stole my heart. The Ngorongoro Crater was stunning with its landscape, and all its wildlife, including the Rhino's.
The accommodations during the trip were great, with the tented camps far exceeding my expectations, and they feed you well. The packed lunches could feed 3 of me.
Heading back to Moshi on the last day was a long drive but Godlove stopped at a few places for me to pick up some souvenirs etc and see some of Arusha, adding to the experience.
