About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- rebeccasT9152NB0 contributionsFun but expensive.LEGOLAND was fun and best of all there were short to no wait times for rides. However, there were multiple rides that were closed along with most all vendor stands and the price of food was ridiculous. There should be better selections of food for small kids since the entire park is geared for small children.Written December 3, 2024
- joedZ244IV0 contributionsSlept in car because they gave me the wrong room key and they were too dumb to fix the situation.Despite having the confirmations for the 2 rooms I booked for 10/30-11/1, my ID, the credit card that paid for the rooms, copies of passports of every guest in both rooms, I was denied a key for my room and had to sleep in my car in the parking lot the first night of our stay. The desk mixed up keys, and would not provide me the correct key to my room. I was in 427, and they would only give me a key to 426 where other people were already occupying the room - this was at 2:00 am after a delayed flight. Worst customer service experience ever. No response from LL to any of my concerns and the manager hid from me the next morning. Gave them the opportunity to respond multiple times before posting reviews. Avoid. Stay somewhere else.Written November 13, 2024

- kremerdjk0 contributionsThe drone show rocks! We have been season pass holders for several years. We experienced Brick or Treat and it was our best visit ever. The activity booths, characters, shows and the candy stations were a hit with our 6 and 10 year old grandchildren. The evening drone and fireworks show was fantastic! It exceeded anything Disney presents. Many of the Lego figures throughout the park have been updated and refreshed. We will be back for the holiday event.Written September 15, 2024

- X3735BIdk0 contributionsTerrible****Beware if you plan on visiting LEGOLAND.. not very friendly about trying to changing your plans due to a storm. The lady said sorry nothing can be done. Even though I purchased the trip insurance. Beware if you purchase the trip insurance you have to cancel 5 days ahead of your visit to get your money back. Which 5 days before it wasn’t a named storm. We were supposed to be staying at LEGOLAND Aug. 3rd - 5th and Polk county was under a state of emergency due to the storm (Debbie) so we decided to try to move our weekend however when I called I was told sorry we can’t move your weekend or no refund. Even though we would have had to drive through many of the counties that were under the state of emergency 91/2 hours. You would think that this company would care about the safety of their customers a little more than saying, sorry you don’t come you forfeit all your money. Poor customer service..Written August 31, 2024

- yasminerodriguez240 contributionsPerfect place to burn energyThe Peppa pig park was the perfect place to bring my young toddlers. Not only was there a water park area for the heat but also little rides / shows / sand pit / playground and sensory areas. If I had to list a con would be the food cost and the limited menu items but they do allow outdoor food that doesn’t have to be reheated. Not a huge fan of the waterpark... almost identical to the kings dominion that is nearby us. Everything was a blast at Legoland in FL. Loved the true to Lego theme. Also, walked through the hotels and they were so cute! Absolutely worth the trip if you have children less than 12.Written August 9, 2024

This was our family’s third visit. First time three years ago, it was amazing! Second time two years ago, we added the WaterPark and it was also amazing! This time, I was extremely disappointed. I kept telling people how amazing it was so we brought a whole other family. We bought tickets there with a buy an adult and get the kid in free that is found on LEGO kits. Since we had an odd number, I bought one ticket off the Costco website as a woman on the airplane to Florida suggested it. However, the employee did not accept it. I showed two emails from Costco saying I bought and showed the receipt I had from Costco that my card was charged but they just wouldn’t except a ‘third party sale’ or that is what they called it. So a had to pay the full price at the door. I asked if I could get a discount since I already bought a ticket, but no. Then I asked about the $69 online ticket for park and WaterPark and again she wouldn’t let me buy and I couldn’t buy online because you can’t buy day of. It was just so frustrating. And while this was going on, the next ticket booth, the guests were getting all kind of discounts. And huge ones at that. Park was extremely full, even at 10am. Just crazy! It was never that busy before. Wait times for rides were nuts. And rides were never full. Carousal was only half full each time. Other rides were just down or broken. Wave racer broke when my husband was on along with the flying couch ride as someone’s seatbelt got stuck. Fire truck ride was also down. Waited incredibly long at the technicycle as people kept coming and coming with the ‘fast pass’ and since they also get in first we had to continue to wait (ride only holds 12 at a time). And then the park closed so early at 6pm and there were tons of people still there and still waiting in hour long lines. Last time we were there it was open much later as there were fireworks. Legoland should have been open until 8pm that Sunday before President’s day. Ski show was a let down. Don’t get me wrong, as the skiers are super talented but it is so much more enjoyable when they wear the LEGO costumes and the cannons shot water. There was no ‘splash zone’ and it was just a let down as I talked it up to the other family. We so enjoy exchanging LEGO characters with the staff and our favorite ride is the Splash down boat ride with water guns, unfortunately 3 of the 8 guns on our boat did not work. This is still our family’s favorite theme park (my children enjoy it more than Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens) and we want to come back. But Legoland really needs to work on their maintenance, crowd control and park hours.

We went to Legoland expecting the worst. I wanted to go because they don't require masks being worn and we haven't been. I couldn't get in touch with customer service for the life of me, calls or emails. I called Hampton Inn Winter Heaven with my questions as a shot in the dark. The manager, Lisa emailed my list of questions to her Legoland contact then CALLED me back (no text or email an actual human call, I was impressed) with all of the answers. Needless to say I saved a boat load staying at a Hampton Inn Vs. Legoland where we wanted to stay.
Legoland was impressive. This park is absolutely wonderful for young children. I couldn't believe how much fun we had and how clean it was. I don't know if it's normally this clean or over the top because of covid but cleanliness is absolutely comparable to Disney. We were so impressed we bought annual passes and can't wait to go back.
Fun facts... Playgrounds were closed which I thought was great. I wanted my daughter to ride the rides and do everything that we don't have locally. Most food shops were closed, it was a weekday. I noticed most people packed lunch. The two of us had lunch and ice cream only spending $18 total for the day. I thought that was super inexpensive compared to most parks. People in line said they usually have Lego people walking around everywhere which is cancelled for now due to covid. They did have six shows and Lego classes you could sign up for.
Annual pass catch. If you purchase it on line before you go you save $23 in parking. I didn't do it because they are only allowing limited people in the park didn't want to go and get turned away. Not to mention I LOVE human contact. Debbie at the ticket counter was most helpful. Humans are important not silly apps.
Last, the park seemed totally fine people-wise yet never had to wait for a ride other than for employees to clean them. Tons to do and much bigger than I thought. Disney who!? Legoland has us for this year for sure!

The rides were great entry level roller coasters for my 4 & 6 year old. The food situation leaves things to be desired both in quality and COVID protocol. We left the burger place towards the back near the bot ride because a young worker had his mask down and was talking a lot to another worker literally inches (not an exaggeration INCHES!) away from chicken tenders and other food. It wasn’t a brief hey such and such, it was a full conversation. The other employer also had her mask down not as close but still too close to the chicken tenders under the warming lamps. We also had a situation where we ordered 2 beers on tap near Coastersaurus and they ran out of CO2. We eventually waited about a half hour and just asked for cans of beer instead. In their defense they did offer courtesy cards for single use fast passes. We were waiting about half that time waiting for food from the next door food truck so it wasn’t terribly upsetting. I say those two bad things to say the rest of the time there was very nice. Small lines were refreshing at an amusement park. The lego decor was awesome and extremely detailed. My kids loved everything they did from coasters to the little train ride in Duplo world. One thing I would suggest to anyone is buy the fast pass. I thought about it when buying tickets but didn’t. I regret that especially after enjoying the single use fast passes we got. They cater to the fast passes so much it has to got to be maddening for people waiting in line. You could literally just use the fast pass and ride certain rides 5-10 times over someone waiting in the normal line. The best ride in the park….. Mia’s riding adventure. I’m a 30 year old man but I think it’s better than the coasters. Also very few people were on it late in the day. We could get right on. All in all a great trip. They fall short where a lot of parks do selling $10 chicken tenders meals when I would probably pay $20-$25 for something not so gross. I never understand that. People pay $100 a pop to get in they have money to buy food that isn’t the lower quality possible so the park can make $5-$7. Sell me something for $25 and make $10 but I digress. Overall a nice trip and we may come back again.

Not worth it. Maybe if the tickets were like $30 but otherwise I found it a waste. It’s in a podunk town in the middle of Florida so the employees are locals who don’t want to be working. None of them were very friendly. I guess I had Disney expectations Where you’re greeted and they interact. The ride time limit signs were never updated or accurate so you never knew what you were in for. They charged $23 to park and then once inside there were refresh and refill stations for $17 per drink!!! We asked “Wanda “ if there were just regular drinks like a bottle of water instead of paying $17, she said maybe in a restaurant and went back to playing on her phone. We bought the $17 drink to share all day only to find a stand that sold water bottles later on. Thanks Wanda. Again, it’s a cheap day trip that only takes a few hours but I wouldn’t pay these prices again.

Me and my family recently stayed at the LegoLand Florida resort with a one day visit to the park. Children ages 6 and 8. We had originally booked the beach bungalows but then we were “upgraded” to the hotel because the bungalows are not open. We booked those because we wanted to avoid crowds in the hotel and after staying in the hotel we found that it was really a downgrade. I was immediately turned off at the fact that they did not follow their own COVID protocols. When I checked in I was surprised that all the legos were out in the lobby for all to touch, hopefully they get sanitized every night (doubt it). I was not very pleased that parents were allowing their children to walk inside the big lego bin with shoes and all. The pirate boat play structure is nice but there were many children running around with no masks as well as adults walking around with no masks. Not one employee said anything despite signage requiring masks. Our wifi never worked 7 different devices and all the staff could tell us was that it must be our devices... All 7 of them... OK.. Rugs in the room not very clean, one corner smelled like pee. I did like the setup of the separate bedroom areas. The free breakfast saved us money but it was cheap frozen pancakes, boxed scrambled eggs. Not impressed with the food, my mom ordered a salad with old lettuce and very small. Disco elevator was cool.... when the music decided to work. I did like that you can ask for microwave to be brought to the room. After our first day trip upon return to the room I was surprised to see that housekeeping had entered to put new towels. After staying in couple different hotels during COVID times I found it weird, usually hotels will give towels upon request and clean at checkout. Kids loved the legoland park, it was perfect for them. We stayed just for the experience and our experience was enough to say we would not be staying again, not worth it. Been there done that. Although we would make the day trip to the park again.

Ugh! Where do I begin? We went here to spend our winter break vacation very exited because our teen son and baby son are die hard lego fans. After getting a very expensive vacation package, we ventured over here hoping for an all around quality up to the level of Disney and Universal and its not even close! First, our reservation included “free breakfast for the family”. When we arrived to the restaurant, the host told us that we we will not be allowed in the restaurant without a reservation. We had no idea because it doesn’t say we need to reserve our breakfast anywhere on the website, especially since we had an expensive 5 night vacation package. Anyways, we proceeded and made reservations for every morning. Moreover, we ended up making a reservation at the Pirate Ship Wreck restaurant for New Years Eve because my son dreamed of eating there. We arrived at 5pm for our 6pm reservation hoping to have our dinner so we can later go see the firework celebration. However, we were denied entrance to the restaurant and they claimed we did not have a reservation. Unbelievably, we went to the manager, a lady whose name I won’t name here because I don’t want her fired, was extremely rude and complained about not understanding my English because I am Hispanic and refused to allow me to go into the restaurant anyway. She proceeded to threaten to call security and I ended up eating a pizza with my family of 3 kids instead of the restaurant my son dreamed of because they couldn’t find my apparent reservation. If you are thinking of coming here, think again because the electronic disorganization and unfriendly workers make this place an awful place to go on vacation to.

So many attractions are currently closed or not working as described, like the VR coaster, (no VR!). Miniland USA, the minature replica of the country is off limits due to construction. The hours of operation are completely false! We visited the water park this past Monday and it opened at 12pm and closed at 4pm!!! What an absolute waste of money and time especially after ordering a cabana.
Covid has destroyed this park and it is NOT in enjoyable condition! Do yourself a favor and save your money until everything is near 100% operating conditions. We were sorely disappointing and did not feel we got our money's worth. Oh and the Pirate resort we stayed at charged us some bogus fees, "Skyline manual charge, $6.82" and "Guest amenities $9.00." Resort fees were supposed to be included already with our package deal.
What a shame.

First off, I want to say this place is awesome for the kids, even the kid in me. The lines for us were shorter than the posted wait time. This is where it ends!!!! The food took me 45 min to get in a very short line. They had almost no staff ( I honestly believe it’s because why work when people are getting their extended benefits right now). The granny apple line served one, seriously, one customer in the 20 min I waited (it was a true 20 min too not exaggerated) the water park was at capacity with hardly a crowd.... now don’t tell me it’s bc of covid, legit in the water I can hug people but we all gotta space out???? The virtual waiting line is an excellent idea, implementation was horrid. If people knew well in advance with let’s say a pamphlet when you arrive it would have been great. I am pumped to do another two days of rides and fun but we are bringing our own food and staying away from virtual queue.

My family of 4 was planning a 2 day trip to Legoland from Atlanta, the tickets were going to be almost $600 so instead we bought two awesomer passes for $360 which included 2 free combo tickets per pass so we used that for the kids admission. I really suggest that as the way to go! You get discounts on food, merchandise, the hotel, and free admission to Madame Tussauds, and Orlando aquarium. Also when we get back home, we have unlimited admission to Lego land center in Atlanta! We really enjoyed our time at Legoland, our favorite things were: the Imaginarium, ski stunt show, mini city, master of flight ride and the water park. The employees are so nice and fun. I really appreciated the great number of tables/benches and shaded spots. The outside food policy is really lenient for a theme park and I appreciated that but we still spent $50 for lunch one day. They also had entertainment throughout the park- dancers and music we loved that! We didn't have time to see everything in two days from park open to close mainly because my kids spent forever building! They were in heaven with so many legos and could've spent the whole day doing that and I really wish the park hours were just an hour or two longer! I loved the beautiful landscaping/ lush plants around the park and even a garden to walk through complete with a gigantic banyan tree and a small water fall.

My family and I purchased the annual pass last year. We purchased our tickets on the monthly payment plan. When our 12 month plan was completed we chose to not renew. To my unknowing at the time if you buy an annual pass on the monthly payment plan they can renew you plan at what ever price they choose and continue billing you monthly until you email them to stop you memberships. I was unaware of that and once I started getting an even higher charges coming out of my account monthly I tried to call to find out what was going on. (You can not talk to a real person for Lego Land unless you are trying to make new reservation.) I finally had to email them to get the payments stopped from charging my account and asked nicely to have my money back as we were unaware this was going to happen. I received several emails just dancing around the fact of what I had to do cancel my membership. When I finally fulfilled all the requirements in the email to stop the charges they told me they would not refund my money. So to this park the $128.40 that they got from me from there misleading contract is more important to them then my family coming back to there park. A park that has this kind of customer service to there loyal customer is no business I want to work with anymore.

How does the 2 Day & waterpark ticket work? Can you do Legoland 1 day and waterpark the next or do you have to do both?
Written May 14, 2022
I had a 3-day Legoland Florida Waterpark Combo Ticket. That's how it was worded in my email. If it's a combo ticket like I had, you can go between Legoland and the Waterpark on the same day that you chose for the tickets. This goes for both days since you bought a 2 day ticket. Good luck and have fun! Oh, and just a tip: if you are wanting to ride rides in Legoland and you are wearing bathing suits for later, make sure that everyone is wearing shorts on top of the bathing suits.

It only allows me to purchase tickets for adults, does 1 adult ticket cover 1 child or do you pay the same price for children as you do adults?

What does Skip The Line means when buying Legoland Ticket? Does it mean we can skip the line for rides?
Written March 22, 2021
Yes, it's like the speed pass diffent line. Short wait time.

I think the skip the line was the line to
Buy tickets at the entrance. We printed our tickets at home and went right into the park. We had to wait in line- we’ll, since we won’t right after it opened back up in July we really didn’t have lines to speak of. But there are no fast passes that I know of .

What is the water temperature like in early October? We are thinking about coming during Fall Break but I was not sure how the water park would be during that time?
Written June 4, 2019
Usually, early October is warm. You may want to check if the waterpark is still open then.

Does Legoland have a disability pass (or something similar) for people with disabilities? Our daughter has special needs. Waiting in line for an hour for rides is not an option but we’d love to visit the park!
