The visit follows the route of the entire vinification process, from the weighting machine, trough the stemmer-crushers, the pressing and fermentation area. The tour continues through the maturation, in concrete and oak barrels, and the bottling zone, then in the undergrounds tunnels for ageing. The tour ends with a collection of historical vintages and the museum of wine.

      Great visit and wine tasting!
We got a great viewing of the full production line and also some showing of the production machinery as my boyfriend is very interested in that part. Tasing was delicious and well introduced by our host. No questions were stupid and we highly recommend to visit this winery!

      Absolutely Spectacular
Amazing wine tasting experience. I highly recommend this tour - very informative, accommodating, and personable, with the best Trebbiano and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo I have ever tasted (and they export to Wisconsin and Indiana!!). The cheese and meat tasting option should not be overlooked; their supplier is just a mile down the road so it is extraordinarily fresh. SO happy we stumbled upon this gem. Grazie mille!!

      Excellent!
Amazing day with an excellent host in Giovanna who facilitated us in perfect English. We were a small group of four Irish friends. We started with a tour of the production facilities with really expert insights in to the wine making process for their Bosco Nestore vino including the cellar vaults. This was followed by an excellent tasting of five wines accompanied by some delicious local cuisine. Highly recommend to others to visit and will be returning ourselves!

      An amazing wine experience!
Well worth a visit! The wine tasting is superbly led and presented by Giovanna whose knowledge is excellent. The tour again with Giovanna is fascinating but most of all the wines themselves are superb. Of note are a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva that can certainly hold its own among the best reds, an incredibly complex Chardonnay, one of the best Pecorino and a Rosé with surprising depth.

Delightful Introduction to the wines of Abruzzo
The cellars at Bosco Winery were the best place to be in the scorching heat, and lovely Giovanna conducted us through the whole process with excellent English, and then introduced us to the range of wines with delightful Italian hospitality. The Pan Chardonnay was a delicious surprise and the Peccorino, Trebbiano and of couse the famous Montepulciano wines were very much enjoyed. We booked ahead for the tasting to get Giovanna who speaks English, and paid €5 each. The tastings were outside in the shade, and it was July, so late afternoon was better.

This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable and gave us a sense of history that made the tour interesting. The wine tasting was accompanied with delicious antipasto. To top it off we met a sweet couple on their honeymoon! We were celebrating 50 years of marriage and so meeting them was poignant. Great wine adventure!

Our hostess was knowledgably and friendly. She took our party of 12 throughout the entire winery and explained all of the steps in detail. Later we sat down to a tasting that included 4 of wines accompanied with grilled artisan bread with their olive oil and a taste selection of local cheeses and cured meats.

Incredible, a very nutritious experience in all aspects. Very well documented with the history of family wine. Recommended 500%.
    Congratulations Bosco Family, excellent...
The only thing I can say is that the rosé wines could be a little colder.

The tour was pleasant, informative and memorable. The hostess had a deep and caring knowledge of the winery and its history. The tasting of the Bosco wine and accompanying food was in a wonderful setting within the winery. We felt as if we were in their home. Met several other people we enjoyed in conversation.

I’m a big lover of Montepulchiano and so I had high expectations. Safe to say they were met and exceeded. A very interesting tour which took us through current production methods and the history of Bosco.

We then got to sample 5 wines, including two of their best which - a wonderful Montepulchiano and a very enjoyable and complex Chardonnay (and I don’t really like Chardonnay)

To top it all off there was a very generous and tasty cheese and meat selection to go with it.

Would highly recommend. I only wish I wasn’t flying home and could have bought more wine!

Fantastic presentation and wine. Our group was small which made it easier to ask and get full answers to questions. Plus, it was a sunny day.

In Abruzzo and maybe a little way off the beaten track, but we’ll worth the detour if you are interested in wine and it’s production.
    A guide was very knowledgable.

Because is was so late in season it was just my husband and I for tour. Our guide was great and it was nice we were only ones on tour as we got to ask many questions. The place was hard to find but apparently only google maps will get you there. We tried 5 kinds of wine and the local cheese, meats & breads went lovely with the tastings. I would deffienetly recomend to others. Our favorite bottle was 110, cant wait to open and enjoy cost 35 euros but worth it!!!
