Disappointing!!
May 2021
Great facility with very helpful volunteers! However, when more emphasis is placed on Bob Hope than any professional golfer something is wrong. The Bob Hope experience is way overdone.

Many of the exhibits on club and ball evolution was very interesting and well done.

The most disappointing are the reliefs of the HOF members' faces on the display. They were horrific. They were totally unrecognizable. The HOF should insist on a refund from the" ARTIST"! Terrible!

Additionally the lighting is terrible in most display areas.

Disappointed
Museum closed for a wine & food festival?! Nothing online said they’d be closed (including their own website) . And nothing prevented us from buying online tickets the day prior.
An IMAX employee gave us ticket vouchers (good though 12/2021). But we’re from New England. That’s not going to happen.

Bad Endings....
Apr 2021
Museum was fun and informative. Learned a lot about Bob Hope.

We paid for the "Friend" membership of $50.00 for the 2 of us.

At the end, we tried the challenge to drive the ball to the green in the moat. It's 132 yards. I am a beginner golfer....but to my surprise (and everyone with me.) I made it! We were all jumping around and laughing... My husband also got 2 balls on there as well.

The man in charge said,"good job." and that's it. Nothing.

It left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Would it just kill them to award those who actually make it on the green with a measly ball marker with their logo on it?

Two balls on the green should have got you a Bob Hope pin. I am sorry you did not get one. If you get a hole in one there is a special gift.

Why was Amateur golf minimized?
Apr 2021 • Solo
I was very disappointed that there was so little info on both Men's & Women's amateur golf. I was truly amazed that when I arrived at the "Team Competition" area that there was nothing about the "Walker Cup". There appears to be plenty of room in this area to incorporate a nice display. With the Walker Cup coming to Seminole Golf Club next month this was very disappointing.

It was ok. Simulator is down due to COVID. Not someplace we would do twice, but glad we went. Interesting memorabilia and the challenge hole was fun.

Limited but good experience
Oct 2020
The exhibits that are there are very interesting. However, it is very limited. I was here years ago and this seems to have much less there than before. My golf obsessed 15 year old son enjoyed it. It did seem like a lot of the spaces were just empty. He did enjoy hitting the golf ball onto the island green. However, the putting course is now gone. The gift shop is also very, very small and the restaurant was not open when we visited. You can easily see the place in less than 2 hours if you don't do an IMAX movie.

Very, very interesting! Loved all the exhibits. Everything was very safe and clean....lots of hand sanitizer around. Really appreciate that the ticket is good for two days. We didn't have time to do the second day, but would definitely recommend it. Too much to see in one outing.

For the golf lover!

I took my husband to the Golf Museum and he really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There were hand sanitizer stations everywhere and they were making the extra effort to keep people safe during coronavirus. It was a great visit.

I don't golf, but my DH does. Thoroughly enjoyed the museum. There was a large section for Bob Hope and all of his contributions to the game. I think this exhibit is constantly changing as they add new members. This year they had a tribute to the 2019 winners and the winners of the tournaments. Don't forget to try your luck at the 17th hole.
