About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sightseer122532885150 contributionsFun tour!My mom and I really enjoyed this. I felt like it was quite a long tour which was nice. It was also great that parts of it were walking. I like Spooky things so this was great!Written September 20, 2024
- MATTG39430 contributionsDelightful and spooky. Our tour guide was Madame Ivy and our driver was Knuckles. Madame Ivy was a delightful guide and she did a great job of telling engaging tales of ghosts and gravestones. We especially loved the after-hours Potter's Wax Museum with our Executioner Michael. Can't forget Kris who was our Charlie. Thanks to all! We would recommend this experience, it was a great time.Written August 25, 2024
- beccabunny590 contributionsFun memories! What a hoot! If you have teens, be sure to book the Ghosts and Gravestones tour! This was right on their level and we had a great time watching them enjoy the stories and stops along the way. Great acting and effort by everyone! We picked the 9:20 PM tour on a Thursday in June. I told the boys the last one had to be the spookiest! Riding around on the trolly was relaxing and breezy! Hopping on and off was perfectly timed, to keep everyone engaged. The old jail was memorable. I definitely felt an energy of despair and sadness there. For days afterwards, we were all talking about the bishop, the boy in the tree, and the dead Frenchmen in the river. We spent the entire day in Saint Augustine and visited several historic places and excellent restaurants but when I asked the kids what their favorite part of our day trip was, they said “Charlie!”Written July 8, 2024
- Ghostwriter620 contributionsFun evening tourThis was a fun tour. The tour guide and actors were very good. The tour included a short jaunt through the wax museum and the Old Jail. I don't think it would be worth our time nor the money to see these sights independently, so including these stops on this tour made it more worthwhile.Written April 20, 2024
- Vacation629297887230 contributionsSPOOKY for a SKEPTICMy husband and I had a blast on this tour. It was funny, entertaining, and honestly spooky. It takes you into Potters, a cemetery, and the old jail at night. The photos below were taken in solitary confinement (pitch black even in the daytime) back to back. It’s weird. We stayed behind and were the only two in the room at the time. The second set of pictures was at the cemetery. Before you think “it’s a bug” like I did, it was on Live Photo. No bugs were seen flying in the frame. At all. It was also very windy and 48 degrees. I’m a skeptic and this was just confusing. Definitely a good time! Hubby and I aren’t into the bar scene, so this was the perfect activity to let us explore the city safely at night.Written January 14, 2024
- Jerra Boatner R0 contributionsWe did not enjoy this tourWe did not enjoy this at all. We have been on a few ghost tours when we travel, but this was so theatrical and scripted and did not feel natural and it made the accuracy of the stories (if there was any) questionable. We also had done the Old Jail Museum earlier in the day, and the Old Jail was one of the stops so that was repetitive. The lady who sold us both sets of tickets should have told us that but I know they are trying to sell tickets. We do not recommend this tour.Written October 14, 2023
- heiditI5831MP0 contributionsFun NightAbsolutely outstanding! Our ghost host Mimi went above and beyond with fascinating historical information and facts. We loved every second!!!Written April 10, 2023
- SharynDB0 contributions12/29 8pm tourThe guide really knew her stuff. Informative & fun! Chuckles was very effective, as well. Scared the crap out of me.Written December 30, 2022
- 608lenoreb0 contributionsLots of funVery entertaining. All the actors were fantastic and Penny was a great guide. The room the tour begins in and the bus itself are worth admission. A few jump scares, but nothing that will give your kids nightmares. Lots of fun.Written November 13, 2022
- Jack T0 contributionsWas a nice experience for all agesThe overall experience was great. They had a nice store and waiting area with museum on site. The bus was very nicely decorated. It wasn’t too scary for the little ones and was accessible for those that have trouble getting around. Your was informative and cool. Didn’t see any ghosts but never really expected to.Written September 6, 2022
- moonbeam_sb0 contributionsJust okPerhaps we took the wrong tour. We had an 11:30p.m. tour. We thought it would be spooky fun to go to the jail at midnight. We thought the whole thing was corny. The “ghost hosts” were actually very knowledgeable but we would have preferred less acting/pretending and more facts & story telling. If I were to do this again, I would take one of the walking tours instead.Written July 10, 2022
- TerriDee0 contributionsA WICKED Good TimeSo much fun!! Well presented, lots of scares! These people really enjoy their jobs. I'm pretty sure while at the jail, with total darkness, and an escaped prisoner holding us hostage while he just had to tell us his tale of a hanging gone wrong, that I saw ghost orbs in a jail cell. Second floor, second cell on the left. Check it out for your self!Written May 14, 2022
- HonestReviewbyJen0 contributionsRelaxing and Fun ExperienceWe did the 8:00pm Ghosts and Gravestones tour. Our driver, Texas Tim and our guide, Aaron, were fantastic. We were able to go into the wax museum but not the jail on our tour although we enjoyed it nonetheless. I see negative reviews regarding the weather or not being able to see any paranormal activity. People please, the tour company has no control over either, so to give a negative review for that is just plain petty. Everyone, from the store employees to the tour guide and driver, were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour. As Covid becomes less of an issue, I’m sure they will adjust their tour to go into the jail at night as they did in the past. We just did the jail tour during the day. Easy peasy fix 😉. Thank you Aaron and Texas Tim!!Written February 5, 2022
- MALENURSERN0 contributionsFun history tour.We took the 8:30pm tour. The guide was a little corny but knowledgeable. One of the passengers was obnoxious and wanted to get off the bus...when we parked, he left and we cheered. Everyone was nice and knowledgeable about the history of St. Augustine.Written November 8, 2021
- 247crystald0 contributionsDo not waste your money! This was the worst tour I have ever been on. The tour guide told immature and disjointed stories. The first stop was in the cemetery where we disembarked and stood outside the cemetery while he told more bad stories. The second stop was at the wax museum with old sheets hung to create some sort of effect. At that point our party exited out the back door and walked a 1/2 mile back to the starting point so we would not have to go through any more of the tour. It should be criminal to charge tourists for that experience.Written October 9, 2021

We did this tour hoping it would be similar to other ghost tours we have done in cities like San Antonio, TX.
The tour started promptly at the designated time and the experience is a well oiled machine. The experience was entertaining and the guide was informative.
We did appreciate the history and ghost stories shared, but we left feeling a little let down.
At the various 'stops', we both had a difficult time hearing what the guide said. It would be super helpful if the tour company provided the guides with some sort of portable microphone system. We feel like we lost out on a lot of the details because neither of us could hear. We also both had extreme difficulty understanding the gentleman who talked at the jail. He had some sort of accent, not sure if it was intentional or not, but we could understand maybe every 4th or 5th word out of his mouth.
We also had hoped for more ghost story history than what was included.
All in all, we did appreciate the trolley transportation and the knowledge our guide shared. We just have a few suggestions for improvement.
Do we think it is worth $40-$50 per person? No.
Would we recommend it to others? Yes - but we would share with them our experience so maybe they would not feel as let down.

In all the years we’ve come down here to St Augustine, we hadn’t taken the Ghosts and Gravestones tour until last evening. We bought the tickets on line ($26.00, discounts available in local handouts and pamphlets though) for a 7:30 ride. We arrived at the Welcome Center 30 minutes before our scheduled tour as requested on the ticket. At 7:15 we were ushered into a book and exhibit lined room. There, Everett, our guide for the evening spoke about the exhibits and what we were about to experience on the tour. Without giving anything away, we drove through the city with stops at the Old Jail, cemeteries and wax museum. Along the way, Everett told use fact-based tales and stories. He was a great guide and we all enjoyed the hour long tour. 3-2-2022

The tour itself was very fun. I enjoyed our guide , she told some fun history and haunts about the St Augustine area. The downside was, a large group brought 4 small kids probably 4 and under with them. I felt like they had to really tip toe around the stories. It just took a little away from it. They did well with what they could do without traumatizing the kids. The one child was clung to his parent or grandparent and he volunteered himself to basically be “offed” infront of them for one of the haunted stories. I just felt it odd. To each their own. Anyway, be advised with bringing small children. It could be a little spooky for them. The actors where all fun. I still recommend the tour and would do it again.

I was so excited to come and do a ghost tour. My husband doesn’t believe but he went with me for my birthday Weeknd. I was so disappointed . Too many people on your and everyone had bright lights video taping. The guide was more an actor was like watching a play. They told us we could explore in the wax museum and jail but no. They put u in a small room and act out a skit then you leave. I love these things but def not work 80 $ for ghost tour. And the graveyard was too bright and we went and stood on the side couldn’t get good pics . So disappointed 😔

This was so so incredibly fun! Our tour guide Ivy was just incredible! She has such a great personality and made the experience just top notch. Inside Potters wax museum, Mike gave a tremendous performance, but my favorite part was Mike at the old Jail tour. He was unbelievably great in his character and extremely funny. The tour was very educational and such a good time. We were laughing 90% of the time due to having such a great group on the trolley. Would recommend everyone experience this at least once during your trip!

What a fun time on this Trolley ride. They take you to some deep history of hauntings in the oldest city of the country. Ending in the Old Jail with a few scare tactics along the way but all in good fun. Definitely recommend this one for a nighttime event .

So much fun!!! Our Ghost Host Thomas and driver Chuckles provides lots of thrills, chills and just the right amount of eeriness to make our spines tingle.
We learned so much of St. Augustine's history from the very knowledgeable Thomas. His stories took you back in time. We highly recommend this tour!!!

I took my 7 and 13 year old on this tour. My 7 year old was pretty scared haha but Carter who was playing an inmate ghost went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and to even incorporate her into the story. That is a memory we will never forget, thank you!!

Totally different from the other ghost walks we've been on. More theatrical, more entertaining. Fawn and Chuckles did a wonderful job as our "hosts". The stops at the wax museum and jail were well played, hats off to the actors. Altogether a great way to spend the evening. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something different. Many thanks for an evening well spent.

Loved the history tales. You do go to the wax museum, but only in one room, so if you want to see the museum, go separately during the day. The Jail tour was cool. Our guide there was a man dressed up as a ghost, who was a true death row person, who had been executed there. He did an excellent job portraying a criminally insane man. He told true stories of the prisoners and conditions within the jail before it was shut down. You ride in an open air trolly so dress accordingly.
