About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- davidhX6956HH0 contributionsTwo wheelin funGreat trip! Super way to really see old Pensacola. The guide was amazing and a wealth of knowledge. Pensacola is a beautiful city and we saw things we never expected - we will have to comeback for more.Written July 1, 2024
- Falkirk19780 contributionsTwo Scottish ladsAfter a mix up with times and communications we were met by our guide Sarah. Could not of asked for a more friendly, professional and informative guide. The tour itself covers many districts and lots of history. Tip. There is free On-street parking near the meeting point.Written June 30, 2024
- Druidfog0 contributionsA must do tourA great tour. Had a variety of sights and a nice pace. Enjoyed the stories and history of Pensacola. Anybody that has not done Segway needs to do it. So easy to learn.Written May 27, 2024
- Captain_Deguello0 contributionsSolid GoldWe had a great time on this tour, which is really a history walking tour with five drinks at five bars on the way. Our guide was knowledgeable for sure, but also a real local so he could throw in some legit local flavor. We had a great time and will encourage visiting friends to take this tour (we recently moved to Pensacola and took our visiting kids with us on the tour).Written December 31, 2023
- 502waynee0 contributionsInsightful & FunIn 15 minutes Rick patiently taught us two 70+ year olds to drive/ride the Segways. My wife had knee replacement and is no longer as nimble as she once was. She was reluctant to try but knew I really wanted to do it so she gave it a try. And she enjoyed it! Rick mixed humor with a vast knowledge of the area’s history. This beats walking as we covered a lot of territory in 2 hours and we were not tired.Written November 29, 2023
- Dave B0 contributionsBest Way to See PensacolaRick was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable on Pensacola history, as he is from the area. He is also hilarious! This is the best way to see the city.Written July 6, 2023
- Nikctom790 contributionsU are in the middle of fUnThe segways were super fun. The guide made it all worth it! He was super informative and fun! They worked with us on rescheduling due to all the rain storms that came thru on the day we had originally booked. Will most likely look at all the other tours they do for next time.Written June 21, 2023
- nicolebF5456WE0 contributionsPerfect Spring TourWas a terrific tour! My 15 year old som, husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We had a blast and recommend anyone take the tour when you are in town.Written May 10, 2023
- KevNic20 contributionsAwesome !Was an awesome experience first time we ever did a Segway. My wife had accident years back and had knee replacement so she was scared at first then had a blast. She could have never walked the distance we went. Nick did an awesome job giving the tour and was very knowledgeable of his home town. A must do very will priced.Written February 26, 2023
- Tammy K0 contributionsFun way to discover PensacolaRick was phenomenal and our segway tour was very informative about Pensacola past and present. Great way to learn about the history, and coupled with the museums downtown we had a lot of fun and learned a ton! Make sure to have a beer at Pensacola Brewery afterward and grab some grub at Hub Stacy.Written December 28, 2022
- Trek212326523290 contributionsInformative and fun walking pub crawl, what’s not to like?Nic was a well spoken and well read guide for our historic pub crawl. We thoroughly enjoyed Nic’s stories and he made us feel very welcome to Pensacola Downtown. Just an overall great tour with fun brewery and bar stops! Oh, and Nic is a writer, can’t wait to read his books.Written October 28, 2022
- stepheniepippin0 contributionsInteresting and fun walk around town but NOT a pub crawlWe enjoyed our tour, but it wasn’t like any pub crawl we’ve done in past. It started off poorly because our guide did not arrive until 15 minutes after the tour was due to leave. Because tour was set to depart at 6:30, we arrived by 6:15 to get checked in. When she arrived, spent 15 more min going to bathroom and looking for other guests so we didn’t leave until 30 mins later. We had to take our drinks to go at that point. The instructions were to ask the bartender and they seemed to know nothing about what was going on. Due to a late start by the time we got to the last pub it was closing so we did not even get to go in. The guide was somewhat knowledgeable but more of a storyteller. I think two people who were on our tour left because they thought it must’ve been canceled. We only went to three pubs and only had time to drink at two. Definitely overpriced for what we got to do. Would not recommend it as it was advertisedWritten October 14, 2022
- Aimee L0 contributionsUpsetting reflection of PensacolaMy husband and I went on the two hour Segway tour with Rick last month. I usually reserve reviews for things that are 5 star experiences, but I thought it was important to write this one anyway. The Segway part of the tour was great as Segways are always a fun way to see a city, and our tour actually lasted for an extra half hour. The Rick part of the tour was so upsetting that it has taken me a month to write this review. Using very canned, sterotypical speech, almost as if he could hear a laugh track in his own head, he gave us the most racially and culturally insensitive narrative of historic Pensacola. He let us know how we were thankfully in the Bible Belt and thank goodness surrounded by "good Christians", not like in Miami that is just "North Cuba" or "those people" in New Orleans or New York. He implored us to consider the incredible kindness shown to the captured Apache natives who were imprisoned in the fort instead of in jail cells. He told us that Geronimo's wife was actually buried in the Christian cemetery ("I mean of course she doesn't have a headstone, just a wooden cross, but she is buried with the rest of the Christians!"). He told us of the freed African women who worked in the brothel ("they were free, but they were not 'free' - ha ha"). We cringed along with him until he got to the part where he told us that Florida was the third state to secede from the Union and that it had nothing to do with slavery, only the excessive taxation of the Union. When he got to the part where he told us that the freed Africans were sad about being freed because "they had had free room and board", I couldn't stand it any more and asked him to just please stop talking. "Well," he said, "they had to toil a little for the room and board, but it was free." When I told him that he couldn't possibly think this was an acceptable way to portray the kidnapping, brutalizing, and enslaving a whole race of people over hundreds of years, he finally backed down and rolled it back, being very obsequious for the rest of the tour. The whole tour sadly left such a sour taste in our mouths about the otherwise beautiful city of Pensacola. As Maya Angelou said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."Written September 14, 2022

Christine our tour guide has a lot of knowledge on history of Pensacola & loves lemon drops so do not stop supplying them to her.. Trust me.Written June 24, 2022

Christine gave my S/O and I a tour of the hauntings, murders, and mayhem. She gave great detail and we were on the edge of our seat (or Segway) the entire time. We actually finished the tour two hours later than planned! It was great learning about spooky history of downtown Pensacola. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thank you Christine and Emerald Coast Tours!

Decided to take a day trip to pensacola for a low key St. Paddy’s getaway. Booked a segway ghost tour because we like spooky things and also wanted to try our hand at the silly segways. Never did we think it was gonna be hands down the most fun we’ve ever had. Nick, was a phenomenal guide. He was extremely knowledgeable not only in the ghost stories but in pensacola history. My face hurt from laughing so much. 10 out a 10 would book again! 🙌

We wanted something different, fun, that everyone with a variety of ages would enjoy. This fit the bill. The tour guide first focused on safety in riding then took us out and pointed out lots of interesting sites. There is so much to see and we would for sure do it again!

Rick was an awesome tour guide. He's very knowledgeable and funny. I learned a lot about the history of Pensacola he even talked about the haunted aspects. The area is beautiful and he made the experience very enjoyable. Riding a segway is not as hard as you would expect and a must try.

We just took the tour of downtown Pensacola with Nic as our guide, he was so involved and knowledgeable about the history of Pensacola! The segways were so much fun to ride and the tour was absolutely amazing! Segways were not hard to ride at all. Would recommend to anyone!

This was my third segway tour, and my husbands first. Rick made my husband feel very comfortable as he learned a new skill. It was just us on the tour, so we had more flexability on where we wanted to visit. We learned so much about the area and had a really fun time.

Great time with Rick. Lots of sites to see. Rick very knowledgeable and funny. Lots of maneuvering with the segway instead of just going straight down a path. Highly recommend this tour. Well worth the cost.

What a fun afternoon. As the only folks on the tour we got an awesome tour by Casey. Enjoyed the history and the Memorial Park opportunity to wander around.
