- X8311LEjamiee0 contributionsLoved itI totally enjoyed my visit and I would love to go back again sometime we stayed at summer breeze motel and we had a kitchen there along with an outdoor pool they cleaned the room and we had fresh towels and wash clothes every day and fresh bedding as we needed it so yeah it was a blast. We would drive just a little way and we was at the ocean it was so beautiful and the weather was nice everything was super pleasant and we went to longhorn steak house and ate it was really pricey but good but the best place to eat was Marcos they definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to pizza I mean they are 100% 5 star ⭐️ rated at least they didn’t have a spider in there food like my salad did at longhorn steakhouse that was bad oh I also ate at Golden Corral that was really delicious considering I was craving a homemade meal like meat,potatoes and Mac and cheese Needless to say I would highly recommend staying at summer breeze motel because the staff was so friendly and helpful so they are 5 ⭐️ rated to me we really enjoyed our experience however I would have loved doing some of the activities that they had but they just was so pricey and in today’s economy it’s just so hard by the time you pay for all the gas to get there which took $90.00 that’s the trip there then $90.00 back home then $999.00 to stay for one week that’s not counting going out to eat and grocery shopping you really can’t afford nothing else so next time it would be nice and decent if the prices wasn’t so much that all you can do is just set around either at the pool or the beach.Written July 6, 2023

This was my first time scuba diving. I’ve only snorkeled and it was amazing definitely some stuff to learn before but the guy who owns the business which is the guy you dive with was very informative and helpful and took his time. We started in about 3 feet and practiced the breathing techniques and got all the way to 10 feet to see the awesome views. Unfortunately when we got there my girlfriend wasn’t able to go due to the anxiety of all the stuff and the new breathing techniques it takes. But the dive instructor was very understanding and patient with her. Overall I will be going back and doing it again in the deeper water to hopefully see more !! P.S this is a performanced based thing so the instructor will not let you go if he doesn’t feel comfortable that you can stay under water without hurting yourself or others so you can’t force yourself to go which is also a good thing in my opinion!

This was my first time diving and I hope it won't be my last! It was the perfect introduction to diving. Malin taught you about the equipment on land before going to the water. We started off in shallow water (about waist high) practicing, before taking it out in the deeper stuff. Saw some marine life up close and the ocean from a different angle. Malin is a experienced diver who made sure you were safe and had fun. Recommend to anyone who would like to try something different on their beach vacation!

My cousin and I tried this out as a taste for scuba before our appointment for getting certified in a few months. Malin was so helpful in assisting us on very specific directions as to where to meet. He was so friendly. He gave every single person in our group of 4 individual attention so he could make sure we were doing every step correctly and comfortably with his supervision. He was patient with people less comfortable with the gear and very informative. It’s clear he loves what he does! The experience in the water itself is so beautiful and unlike any time spent in the water swimming like normal! There was plenty of fish and shells and life to see. He was great about taking group photos and videos along the way while keeping an eye on all of us and adjusting what needed to be adjusted as we deeper. I would recommend to anyone interested in diving!

We loved the experience yesterday! However, we felt like we were cut short on our time and that it was pricey because of that. The duration indicates 2 hours, but our entire group was finished and go pro pics downloaded by 9:23 (start time was 8, but even that was delayed just due to the park not opening until 8). Group size was 7, 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 15,13,12,11). We were split into 2 groups so some had to wait on the beach. We then thought at least some were going to go back down but maybe we misunderstood that when he was explaining things because we weren’t given that option when the second group came in. Overall, we only got about 20 min per person in the water. Again, great experience, but the description didn’t indicate that our group size would change our overall experience or amount of time. Would suggest clearly indicating what you are getting because it’s pricey for a short experience. Instructor Malin was great though and made it easy.

We're glad to hear that you loved the overall experience and your instructor Malin. We apologize for not meeting your expectations, and appreciate your precise explanation, that is why we extracted some metadata from the instructor`s dive computer log, and camera.
The duration of this activity indicates ‘2 hours approx’. According to your group size and overall performance - generally speaking up to 1.45 h. We provide a ceiling duration to avoid any overlaps or delays with other customers` activities and plans. Your arrival at 8.05am is compensated with the fact that the instructor is able to enter the park before hours and prepare and assemble everything to be ready for you. The last time we have on archive is your tip transaction at 9.44am, in front of the instructor.
The activity starts with a safety briefing and short explanation of what to expect. That information is also included under ‘description section’. Usually, time spent underwater after skills is 20-30min. Due to your great group performance on skills your two dives have lengths of 28 min and 27 min. The split of the group is a double effort for the instructor, but provides a better and safer experience for you and the 4 kids in the group. This is also included in the briefing, before the activity begins, since each group is managed individually, depending on size, children, weather, visibility conditions, etc.
Current price of the activity is on summer sale. Regular price varies between $99-150 per person in this area, again depending on multiple factors.

Our instructor was Malin. He was very quick with the safety procedures & made sure we were completely comfortable the entire time of our dive. Seen puffer fish, schools of fish, stone crabs, etc. He even let us touch the jellyfish & sea urchins! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Malin was nice and taught us the skills we needed to be able to dive; made us feel comfortable before going in the deeper end. He took photos of us while down there with his go pro and we were able to retrieve the photo through an app. We saw a lot of fish and even a little crab. We met him and others at St. Andrew State Park and had a bit of delay while getting there because there is a limited amount of parking; we were told to turn around twice by the park officer but notice there was a line forming on the curb so we stayed there and eventual the park officer let the cars in (just a caution to arrive early/ we left our place 30 mins early and still went through this). Malin said that this happened often in the summer so get there early! Definitely will be back for a deeper dive later in the future.

Unfortunately it was unpleased experiences for my family of 3.
1. We had 8 people at 10am scheduled group. There were only 4 diving equipments so 4 people went then other 4 people had to wait 20+ minutes until they returned back.
2. The instructor talked very soft and his English has very strong accent. My husband and I could not understand the most parts what he said. Plus he has little patience and said he did not have time to repeat what he said
3. Me and the other lady in the same group had to quit at the first because we had hard time to manage under water breathings through the mouth etc.
This is my first time to leave a review. I wish they will improve their service in the future.

We maintain 10 fully eqipped sets at all times, but depending on weather, underwater conditions and safety we sometimes split the group. This doubles the work for the instructor, but provide a better and safer experience for our customers.
Since this tour is shared, the instructor has limited time to provide the same instructions to all the customers. And he is always trying to spend the most possible time in the water.

Milan was awesome. Calm, patient, knowledgeable, safe, and very experienced. I went on the beginners course, and loved it so much that i booked the advanced course for the very next day as soon as i was done… i’m hooked…

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a fan of being under water...I have this irrational fear of drowning. I stepped out of my comfort zone and picked up tickets for my husband's birthday since he's been thinking about getting certified. I'm so glad I did! Malin was great at providing instruction and made sure we were safe along the way. We plan on booking a 40' dive with him this month for our anniversary!

Me and my son went out this morning with Mark, he was amazing he was patient with Us and explained as well as demonstrated how everything works. Once we were in the water he was right there with us making sure everything was going well. We will definitely do this again with Mark in the near future

I don’t remember exactly how deep but we stayed in the lagoon area so probably no deeper than 10 or 12 feet.
