- J2208YLjacki0 contributionsGreat time on the gulfWe took the sunset sail excursion mid-September. We were told that the weather can be hit or miss, but we had a clear sky and perfect sunset, despite rain most of the day. The crew, Capt. Jacob and First Mate Gage did a great job and sailed up from Saint Andrew Bay to PCB and back, passing by Shell Island. Along with the way we saw dolphins up close and went as far out as the 2 mile buoys. It is a great sailboat and crew. The selection of complementary drinks made the time on the boat that much more enjoyable.Written September 16, 2024
- jrbray310 contributionsSunset CruiseMy husband and I had a weekend getaway and decided to try a sunset cruise, the weather was perfect and we got to see some dolphins as a bonus. The boat and the crew were great! Would highly recommend taking this cruise.Written September 2, 2024

We had a great time. The kids loved it, even the begrudged teenager who was determined to sulk our whole trip couldn’t help himself but have a good time paddle boarding. The 7 and 11 yr old loved the Inflatables. We went on a family kayaking adventure and got a closer look at the marine life. We then saw several dolphins. The Captain made sure everyone got a glimpse no matter where on the boat you were. The crew was very helpful and polite.

I'm not sure if I selected the right name of the activity, but we did the Adventure Tour on 7/14/20. From the girl on the phone who booked the tour(told me how it was cheaper to pay cash and with our discount and paying cash, we saved $120) to the crew on the boat, everyone was friendly. Our group consisted of 7 people ranging in age from 47 down to 6 and there was something for everyone. We saw dolphins, tried out the paddleboards, used the kayaks, rode banana boats(which on the beach go for $33/person for a small ride), snorkeled, swam, went on the boat slide, and tried out the inflatables, enjoyed drinks on the boat- it was a great time. I believe the captain's name was Heath. We all loved it and definitely recommend it. It is a great way to try everything out.

The trip we were schedule to go on didn’t have enough people so we were upgraded for free. The trip was awesome... lots of dolphin sightings, fun on the blow up obstacle floats, banana boat rides, and just relaxing on the net of the catamaran! Heath was an excellent captain and Ryan was hospitable the whole trip. Once we got to shell island Trevor and Chad were fun and accommodating. Trevor jumped on the inflatables to heighten our experience, and engaged in meaningful conversation prior to our departure from the island. 100% recommend this adventure!

We were really looking forward to our trip on Sun 7 Aug. Having booked on the 10:00 sailing, we were bumped to the 14:00 sailing as there were insufficient numbers. The team were apologetic. We returned for the 14:00 sailing and unfortunately due to poor weather - thunderstorms - the trip was cancelled. Again, everyone very apologetic. We asked for a refund and that has not yet been received. We booked via Trip Advisor and neither Trip Advisor or Paradise Adventures have responded to my email re refund. I’m certIn we would have had a super trip and enjoyed ourselves - right now, I’d appreciate the refund. Thank you.

Excellent time on the adventure cruise! The boat is clean and comfortable, with ample space for sunning or the opportunity to stay in the shade. Docked at Shell Island, the inflatables, paddle boards, and banana boat were huge hits with my family, a group of six college students/recent grads. The crew were expert at guiding us to multiple dophin sightings. Sitting on the trampoline net on the front of the catamaran was unforgettable. We completed the cruise, hungry, tired, and happy.

We had a pretty fun time. The crew was very friendly and helpful. We saw several dolphins on our way to shell island. We loved sitting on the webbing in the front of the boat. The boat ride was fun. My family loved the free tropical drinks. There was a riptide warning in effect so we couldn't swim in the ocean so this was a fun excursion. The blow up flotation things are hard to climb up on and I really wish the trampoline was secured more tightly. You couldn't really jump on it. There was also sand on the trampoline and it scrapped my son-in-laws foot all up when we tried to jump on it but fell down. We liked climbing up and going down the blow up slide but it took a lot of arm strength to get up on it. My girls also liked the slide off tue boat. There isn't much to see if you snorkel. They had quite a few kayaks and paddle-boards. The banana boat was a lot of fun!! We loved that the best! If you go to Florida in July I would recommend going on the morning cruise because it seemed like every afternoon there was a storm. We actually had to leave a little early because a storm was coming in. We asked one of the crew for advice on where to snorkel and they recommended St. Andrew state park. Overall we had a pretty good time.

We had 3 teens 2 younger kids and 3 adults. Nice relaxing trip on the catamaran there and back. This is surely worth the $65 per person just for the banana boat rides alone. Vendors on the beach charge $50 for a banana boat ride and it’s one and done. Our teens did it at least 3 times and loved it. The little ones had a blast finding hermits and urchins. Crew was very attentive and accommodating. Great value and good memories to be had by all.

We thought booking our sail was all about the forecast, it had to be 🌞 sunny! The SUN was going to determine how much fun our family had on the Catamaran Sail, so when we woke up to an overcast sky the morning of our sail we were a bit disappointed. THEN we met the Captain & his Crew; Heath, Ryan and Jonathan were an absolute blast and they were topnotch with their hospitality, customer service and the many other hats they were all wearing throughout the sail.
I will have to say regardless of your interests or activity level this sail is for everyone. Our kiddos (yes, teenagers...put their phones completely away for three and a half hours) had an amazing time on the sail overall; tons of laughs on the inflatables, banana boat, paddleboards, and kayaks...and even my sometimes fifth kid man-child husband joined in on the fun and snorkeled.
On our way back while hanging with a pod of Dolphins, Heath put in a favor and we also saw a Stringray. It was amazing. I would recommend any and everyone that is in the area to book with this crew, they are the BEST!

I would not recommend. I will say it was different; however, everything to play on needed airing up!! The trampoline, which is what I was really looking forward to was so flat that it wasn’t a trampoline at all. The banana boat needed air, the huge slide needed air, everything needed more air. It really could have been a fun time. The crew was really nice but that’s all. Yes we did see dolphins but that is a hit or miss with anything.

With a family with a 5 and 3 year old and a 7 month old it’s hard to find things to do. There were plenty of life jackets once we reached Shell Island for the kids to enjoy the water safely. Well stocked with beverages for all ages liking. On the way back we seen numerous dolphins. Definitely would do in again.

Are you allowed to bring your own food on the boat?
Written January 2, 2021
Yes, snacks are also available for purchase as are beverages.
Written January 3, 2021
There is one on the boat. The boat stays at the island so you have access the whole trip.
Written August 14, 2019
Is there any shade on the boat or the island? This looks like a lot of fun but I can only handle so much sun at a time.
Written July 10, 2019
You can also call and ask about bring an umbrella to sit on the beach.
