      Sunset Cruise
My husband and I had a weekend getaway and decided to try a sunset cruise, the weather was perfect and we got to see some dolphins as a bonus. The boat and the crew were great! Would highly recommend taking this cruise.

Fun afternoon trip for all ages!
Our family of 17 had a wonderful time on the Catamaran. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our kids. The activities ranged from swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking and relaxing! We also saw dolphins! A great experience and well worth the price

      Sunset dolphin experience
This was such a great experience! Captain Tim was amazing and went out of his way to make my boys' first boat experience a great one. We were able to see dolphins then get out and snorkel to find sand dollars, sea urchins, crabs, etc. We did the sunset time slot and it was a perfect way to end the evening.

      Boat Adventure
This was an amazing trip! I highly recommended booking this tour with Capt Tim. He was a wonderful tour guide and took us to shell island for snorkeling and we saw 6 dolphins. What a beautiful day we blessed with great weather and real blue water. I love the location of the dock behind Bluegreen Resort in Bay Point. Book it you will not regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

      Kids had fun with activities!
It was fun. The kids loved all the activities with the inflatables, kayaks, etc. The side of the island they dock at isn’t the crystal Clear teal side so snorkeling is just ok. Crew Jacob,Jamie, Cap Mike were great! The island crew were very kind and helpful. Kids had a blast!

      Wouldn’t book this again
Decided to venture out on the water last minute and Paradise Adventures was the only company we could find with availability for a group of 7. They take you to the back side of Shell Island in the bay where the water is dark and murky and then a very brief cruise out towards the Gulf of Mexico. We found the snorkel masks and life jackets to be very worn down. Some of the inflatables like the trampoline weren’t actually there. Their staff on Shell Island were more concerned with entertaining themselves (playing frisbee) than helping customers with the paddle boards and kayaks. If you’re looking to truly experience/explore Shell Island and/or see dolphins this isn’t the cruise for you. We’ve booked with other companies in the past and had far better experiences. For the price you’ll likely be left very disappointed like we were.

      Best in Panama City Beach
We have been stationed in Panama City for about 15 months now. Paradise Adventures catamaran tours is my favorite sightseeing company to bring our out of town friends and family on. The cruises are not only fun, they are also easy going, and the crews are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the Gulf and all it has to offer.

A wonderful time with Brain and his crew
We had a great time with Captin Brian and his crew! This trip was definitely a good time! When set sail the crew staff was right on it with drinks and good music for all ages. We were able to see dolphins right away as we left the shore line. The trip to the island was about 30-45 min or so. When we arrived the water actives were a blast. We like challenges climbing on things. They also had paddle boards and scuba gear to play with and other activities. We spent a good 1.5 hours on the island before heading back. Time went by way to fast! On the way back we stopped a few times and saw more dolphins playing with the boats and wave runners out on the water. I highly recommend this trip! We had a great time and will definitely be back. My husband has to have plenty of actives to do. He can not just sit around. This definitely kept a smile on his face along with our daughter 😊

We should have read the reviews before booking, apparently overselling the boat is not uncommon. If you take this cruise, be SURE to be one of the first on the boat!!! We were among the last and had to sit in the back the entire time. The crew waited on the people sitting in the front of the boat, taking drinks back and forth. We were never asked ONE TIME if we'd like anything, it was like we weren't even there. From the back we could not see ANYTHING. There was a lot of dolphin action going on, we could hear the oohs and ahs from the front of the boat. It would have been nice if the captain had turned the boat a few times, so that the six of us in the back could have seen a bit of the action. But he kept the action at the front of the boat the entire time. One of the crew mentioned having a phone "full of dolphin and sunset pics." How nice for that employee! There are other boats that do a much better job customer-service wise (look for the big yellow boat). I do not recommend this one. Owners, please take note: only sell the number of tickets that you actually have seats for, up front!

Hi Evie, we are so sorry to hear about your experience. We do not overbook our excursions, we actually cap our sunsets at 13 less than we are able to take to ensure extra space for our guests. Once underway, you are free to move around the vessel so if you were unhappy with your seat, you are able to find another. We are sorry you did not enjoy the seat you picked and hope we cleared up any confusion regarding "overbooking".

We were given this cruise as a gift from a family member so our reservations were at least a month in advance. We were told to arrive at 4 pm for a 4:30 pm departure, which we did. When it was time to board, we discovered all passengers (65 of us) were split into 2 groups. We ended up in the last group to board. All seats up front of the boat were taken and we found seats in the back of the boat. What was the benefit of having advance reservations to being placed in the back of the boat? The cruise was fine and the crew was great. It was the gals that led us to the boat we were not happy with.

Unfortunately, both boats had to depart from the same location which was not expected when we initially made the schedule. The docks at the Sheraton are still not repaired from the damage they sustained from Hurricane Michael. We were told they would be ready Jan 1, then it moved back to Feb 1 and they are still not completed. We did the best we could to try and get both boats out and unfortunately, they had to go out at the same time, which we understand creates confusion. We apologize again for the loading process. We will come up with a different process moving forward until we can move our smaller catamaran over to the Sheraton upon completion of the dock repairs. Thank you, Donnie and Tracey Coker

The crew was nice. There is no real food, only chips/candy for sale. They give your first glass of beer or wine free, after that you pay and there's a full bar. They play music which is nice. It was completely overcast when we went so no sunset, just looking at dolphins, which we saw plenty. Also, it was pretty chilly. Take a jacket and wear pants. Also, there aren't any actual seats, just cushioned benches and couple of small tables near the bar area. There were around 50 people on the boat and barely any masks.

It certainly was not the “relax and leave your worries behind” cruise that was advertised on the web site! They need to change the description to “booze cruise”, because that is was it was. Lots of people getting drunk, screaming and hollering, very loud music, which is all fine if you booked a “booze cruise” not a relaxing sunset cruise. Ordered Coke which tasted very watered down. It was a cloudy night when we took off, not their fault of course. There was never any mention of even looking for dolphins. About 45 minutes into the cruise it became very dark and stormy looking in the sky. We did turn around and headed back to Grand Lagoon, but instead of taking us to the dock the captain cruised around the lagoon for another hour while thunder and lighting was in the sky all around us. I felt very unsafe in a boat in the lightning storm. We are locals and this was our 4th or 5th time on this cruise. Never had a problem before. I had a relative from out of town and told her how great it was in the past, she was so upset. Not sure if management changed when the location changed? We were very disappointed in this cruise.

I think we were kinda ripped-off for this trip (dolphin watch sunset trip on 04/17/22). In the webpage it said the price was $25 Per Adult, $20 For children and $5 for infant ($75 in total for our party). But they charged me $133 for the same trip and I really do not know why. I asked and they confirmed that it is the same trip that we were seeking, even though they charged us almost double of the listed price.

The trip wasn't great either. For a 2-hour trip I was expecting that they would go into the deep sea, or at least drive the boat to some distance. But they actually hanged around few hundred meters from the beach and kinda floated around. We did see dolphins, but which we could also see from the ST. Andrew's state park beach.

We are sorry to hear you were disappointed in your sunset sail. Our sunset tickets are currently $40 for adults, $30 for children 3-12, and $15 for kids under 2. I am not sure where you got the other ticket price information from. It also seems you booked through Viator so you should have seen the ticket price before completing the purchase online. As for the distance we go on our trips, with the short duration, we do not go far offshore to ensure we make it back in time. We also have to stay close to the dolphins since that is the main attraction of the excursion. Typically the dolphins play close to shore around the jetty's at St Andrew's so that is why all of the other companies hang around there as well. We are sorry again to hear you were disappointed but we hope this clears up any confusion or questions you had.

We’ve been on several boat cruises in PCB but this one was boring. I wouldn’t suggest bringing kids on this one due to its lack of entertainment. I think it’s because we chose a sunset timeframe instead of an earlier time of day. This cruise was VERY mellow! Live music (guitarist), a first for us. He was a good singer and guitarist it’s just that the song choices were very mellow and slow. I guess that was the vibe for a sunset cruise. We are used to a more energetic playlist that gets you grooving to the beat and lively. And we are used to riding around more. Once we circled the jetties, we parked there to watch dolphins - AND NEVER LEFT! We sat still from 6:15- 730ish! Not because there were a ton of dolphins but because that is where we parked to wait for the sunset to occur. My kids (age 10) were very bored! I was very bored as well! We sat and bobbed for the entire trip.
Yes we saw some dolphins which is always great. But the sitting and just waiting was so boring. No scenery change, etc. I will never pick another sunset timeframe. And I would not suggest this for families who want to enjoy a boat ride. Perhaps we sat parked because of waves or wind issues, I dont know. I just know this left us dissatisfied and very bored. The crew was very nice though.
Maybe ask about the vibe of the trip before you book a sunset timeframe.
We’ve never been disappointed with any early afternoon cruise.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy our sunset sail. This trip is designed to be relaxing and chill, unlike our daytime adventures. We suggest next time you pick the adventure tour, it'll be sure to keep you entertained the entire duration!

My favorite part of the experience was seeing wild dolphins and watching the sunset. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The boat was pretty full so if you didn’t get a seat you had to stand. But the minutes watching the sun set slowly into the Gulf was worth it. I totally forgot to get cash for a tip. So BRING CASH FOR TIP!!! These people work hard to make sure everyone has a good time. Live music was awesome. The guy had an great sense of humor. It didn’t take us long to see a small pod of dolphins. The sangria was delicious. Bring a jacket or a blanket if you plan on sitting up front. The winds get kinda gusty.

My son, daughter, a family friend and I spent the week at the Sheraton PCB and had the pleasure of a sunset cruise right off the dock on the property. We loved the trip, saw tons of dolphins, enjoyed a privateer punch. Well worth the $ price. Unfortunately the waves were too big to spend much time out on the gulf but the trip was still awesome.

We have definitely had some windy days this week that make it hard to get out into the Gulf of Mexico! We have gone on dolphin tours before but this experience was so much better. The dolphins played all around the boat and we had so much fun watching them play. The sunset was made to order with calm seas to top it all off. I wish we traveled further down the coast or around Shell Island during the ride. Overall, it was a great experience!

My wife and I were in PCB and wanted to do a Sunset Cruise. This cruise fit the bill to a T and the pier for boarding ended up within walking distance of our lodging accommodations. The staff was very professional, safety was stressed appropriately, and the cruise left on time and return on time as well. It was a cool evening, but the sun came out and it was perfect. The captain and staff were fabulous. We ended up seeing a school of sting rays as well as numerous dolphins. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Paradise Adventures Catamaran.
