- How does the Orlando Indoor Skydiving Experience work?
- A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.Answered May 2021
- How safe is the Orlando Indoor Skydiving Experience?
- The unique design of the wind tunnel, with its wall-to-wall air column, along with certified and highly-trained instructors, allows you to safely enjoy your flight. Your instructor is with you the entire time regardless of your level of experience.Answered May 2021
- What is a Wind Tunnel?
- Very simply, a wind tunnel is a machine that moves a lot of air. A vertical wind tunnel moves air in a vertical column at speeds high enough to keep a person safely floating.Answered May 2021
- How early should I arrive for the Orlando Indoor Skydiving Experience?
- It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.Answered May 2021

- Courtneyomaha0 contributionsGreat staff!Super friendly staff- we lucked out with Jayden, Chris, and Kevin. Fun experience, worth the trip! Wish we could have spent more time up in the air!Written November 27, 2023

- Dominique F0 contributionsVisit weekdays for best deal - totally worth the money! This is one of those experiences that's very difficult to explain. It's difficult to articulate the feeling of flying, of jumping into a chamber and not feeling the ground under your feet but instead being lifted into the air. It was so much fun, so exhilarating, and the staff is extremely talented and very well trained. It takes four people of extraordinary talent and patience to run one group experience. Even though they spend a decent amount of time trying to explain what you need to do once the experience begins, people get nervous and they forget everything immediately. I could tell how challenging it was for the staff to make it fun while at the same time keeping it safe. I feel like I got much more than I paid for. The reviews that say that it was expensive and that they got cheated by 10 seconds and things like that make me laugh. The only reason you would get cheated by 10 seconds is because it took an extra 10 seconds to put you in a proper position. The longer it takes the instructors to get you in a safe position, the less time you spend flying. My advice is pay close attention when they are instructing you and do exactly what they say once you're in the chamber. The faster you are in the proper position, the more time you get in the air. It's just that simple. This is not an inexpensive experience. It's about $100 per person when you get everything from the pictures to the high flying to the video, the whole nine yards. That being said, it was totally worth it and I tipped the staff generously. Props to Craig our instructor, and Ryan, our high flying "tether". I bought the 10 flight experience for a future time knowing full well that it will be used in one session and cannot be broken up into 5 or 10 different visits. I asked plenty of questions before I spent the money. Because of how the operation is run, I completely understand why they do it this way. You will understand also after you visit.Written April 21, 2023
- 610debe0 contributionsPoorThe first time we went, they shorted each kid about 10 seconds doesn’t sound like much but when you only get 60 it’s bad. So we bought a package to come back we were told it would be four minutes per person for 10 flights well to find out, they claim it was only 10 minutes that we paid for, we paid for high fly. They broke us down into two separate flights. They Hi-Fly the first time around then the second time no Hi-Fly. She claims they only do it for one session. Only problem is it says I’m paying 20 extra dollars for high fly time during my time there , no where does it say for only half the time you paid for. She held onto everybody the whole time never really giving instructions to that anyone become independent, or fly by themselves, so you just felt like a dog on a leash. No refunds no apologies no compensation nothing. When we go back never.Written March 17, 2023

The staff was super friendly and our instructor, Marco, did a really great job at coaching us and making us feel comfortable throughout our time there. Thanks for a great experience, we'll definitely be back!Written April 6, 2022
- satisfied20200 contributionsOutstanding!Worth every penny! Our instructor, Stryker, was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and lots of fun. My husband and I had done this before in Tampa. We took our 16 year old son with us on this trip to Orlando. He is also hooked. An amazing experience. Not like any thing else. The High Flight is definitely worth the extra money. We will be back in April and June!Written December 19, 2021

- cdoc290 contributionsGreat Experience for my Kids B-DayWe took our kids for my daughters 7th birthday. She was scared when they started the wind tunnels up as it was loud but the Instructor Chris Roberts was awesome and patient with her and my son. Got them better earplugs and when my daughters first two flights were less than 30 seconds at the end he got her comfortable and out there a third time and she was able to do the entire minute. My son who is ASD loved it and he got to do the high flight which I recommend. It may seem expensive but overall I feel we got great value for our money, don’t forget to tip your flight instructor for the hard work they do.Written February 24, 2021
- 588angies0 contributionsAutism Friendly - 5 Stars!!!!Awesome time today. Houston was our guide. We had a party of 9 (3 different families) that included my oldest son (Trey) who is almost 18 has Autism. I let him know that he had Autism and Houston was quick to say, no problem we will make sure he has a great time. Trey’s first try was difficult to watch... but they quickly adapted and wanted to make it a success... so Treys second flight they brought in a second guide which allowed Trey to soar to the top without any problems. We were so impressed with how professional they were. 5 stars... shout out to Houston... sorry didn’t catch the the guide who jumped in to help. Turned the trip from a potential disaster to a great experience with all smiles! Thanks so much!!!Written January 1, 2021

When they asked who wanted to go again Joe shot his hand up and they took him up to 20 feet high. They were great with me too. Very fun and I highly recommend this!Written March 22, 2020

- Drmai0 contributionsA must go amazing experienceI went with my husband and my 13 years old boy ,We weren’t able to book flights online before we go but we went very early and we managed to find places. We were put in the hands of an amazing instructor ( Yonatan Ran), he helped us put on the proper suits and then explained everything in details (what we were going to experience and what to do in every occasion), then we headed to the flying tunnel and started an incredible fly. We took 3 flights and the last one was a high fly where the instructor takes u up high in the tunnel. I never thought that I would enjoy as I did and I also felt very safe thanks to our attentive super instructor. Our tickets included 3 videos and 3 photos which should b downloaded through the website the following day, and we were told that the media expires after 3 weeks. When I returned to my country , I kept on trying to download my media but there were something wrong with the website. I sent them and they tried to help in every possible way and when I couldn’t succeed, I sent them the vouchers and they sent me the media via email, Wonderful customer service. If I ever go to Orlando again, I will definitely go to ifly . I would like to thank the whole team.Written January 17, 2020
- FloridaSunDevil0 contributionsSo much fun in the airI certainly never plan to jump out of a perfectly good airplane but this 2-minute experience was so much fun. It was our first time (a senior citizen can still do fun things). Our daughter had bought the time but had an extra four minutes so she gave them to me and my wife. We each had 2 one-minute "flights". We are fitted for a flight suit and a helmet and given a pretty good safety briefing and tips on flying. We were in the flight area (one at a time) with only the instructor who was never far away. The first minute flight was a little nerve racking trying to remember to keep my head up and my legs straight. The second minute was much more fun. I liked it so much I purchased additional minutes to use at another time. I was a little sore in my lower back but that didn't last long. For an additional $15 the instructor will guide you up to the top of the flight area. Maybe next time. Looking forward to a revisit. My wife however thinks once is enough.Written November 23, 2019
- adamjayvideos0 contributionsHighlight of my Florida HolidayThis was my 3rd & 4th (so good I went twice) time at iFLY Orlando - this time I took a friend for his 1st experience .. who loved it as much as I do. The whole thing is ace... if you haven’t done it before, you need too (it looks & sounds scary... but it really isn’t - & I scare easily!). This time around I initially dealt with Sarah (to be fair... every time I go I seem to be greeted by her.. think she’s stalking me!), seriously she’s absolutely fab & a credit to the company - customer service in England could learn a thing or 2 from her (& I should know, as I took all my family to iFLY in Milton Keynes, UK!). Benji was our instructor this time around (also so great... but then that’s the only thing I’ve ever seemed to experience there). I was already hooked 3 years ago on my 1st try... my friend now has the same feeling, my family also feel the same (& that’s even after dealing with UK customer service!!!). To re-cap.... just go & do it. Mention my name & you’ll get an extra discount (you won’t... but if enough people turn up & say Adam recommended me.. then perhaps when I return for the 5th time next year - I’ll get that discount!!)Written October 7, 2019
- FLChristianMom0 contributionsAwesome experience!!!We were invited to a Homeschool STEM class and the kids were hesitant. Seeing the two towers made the kids want me to ask for a refund. Half the kids were sent to get gear on while the other half sat through a STEM class about gravity. The flight instructors were excellent teachers about the different hand signals since hearing in a wind tunnel would be difficult. The instructors also put the children at ease, Kyle was funny, and Stryker was so great with the kids. I purchased the tickets that offered a second flight. The kids loved it so much that they wanted to go again! We're planning a corporate and birthday party there next year!Written October 5, 2019

Pros: Clean, newer facilities, and an efficient check in process. The equipment was clean and well laid out. Everyone was professional and friendly. We didn’t have to wait at all with our reservation. The experience felt safe.
Cons: It all comes down to value for money spent. This is way way too short of an experience to have value for my family. The family package was $300 which amounted to a total of 10 minutes plus $60 I got charged later. That means each of our four family members could enter the sky diving chamber for a TOTAL of 2 minute 30 seconds spread over two turns. They carefully had the clock running and trust me no one got more than a few seconds extra. For $30 a minute I expect a lot more. Add to that they tell you you don’t have to decide right not you can decide when you are In there if youWant the instructor to take you up To the top. I was outside the chamber and while my son took his second turn the instructor pointed upward and gave a thumbs up. I didn’t even understand that meant I had consented to pay $15 per person. This part was very brief as well. At $30 per minute I just don’t see value for my family. Everyone was glad they tried it. Two of my family members really liked it at the other two thought it would be more fun. No one went out of the way to make my birthday son feel extra special.
$30 a minute says it all for me. Sorry. If you lengthened the time I probably would give a different value assessment but it would have to be considerably longer. It didn’t feel like a once in a lifetime experience.

This is very thrilling but pricey activity.
For me this is once in lifetime type of thing.
I wanted to experience, which I did, and now have no desire to do it again.
Cost about $150 for two sessions of one minute each fly time with instructor.
There is a 15 minute classroom type session before actual flying.
Price of gear is included in the ticket.
Place seems to be well managed by professionals.
You pay extra for online photo.
As I said before it’s good once in lifetime.
for me. I recommend it if you have interest in these type of activities and can spare $200 usd.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at iFLY Skydiving in Orlando. The excitement and adrenaline rush of indoor skydiving were beyond words. The entire staff at iFLY were incredibly friendly and professional, but I must give a special shoutout to Ferrari, who provided top-notch customer service. He made sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to ensure that I had an unforgettable experience. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend iFLY Skydiving in Orlando, and specifically ask for Ferrari to enhance your experience to the next level.

We arrived at 4:16 to sign up and literally there was no one available at the counter to help us until 4:30, in the meantime my 2 yr old daughter needed some water so my brother went to get it. The manager was extremely rude since we arrive and literally cut the service at 4:39. I was going with my parents and my 7 year old kid, we were heading out of Florida the next day and she wanted to reschedule as my brother was not there. DEFINITIVELY DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. If the owners see this please take care of the situation with your manager, there are minimum required manners to treat people, she even made my son cry.

We pride ourselves on world class customer service and we're sorry you felt this was a frustrating experience for your family. We waited as long as we could and unfortunately had to cut the time at 4:39 since we didn't know when he was returning and we had to move forward with the class. Thanks for sharing your feedback and we will certainly look into your concerns.

Transparency - it sounds in the promotion that you spend 90 minutes learning the basics of skydiving. In reality, 30 minute wait, 10 minute lesson and suit up, 30 minute wait in flight suit for prior booking to skydive, then 1 minute in wind tunnel, another 15 - 20 minute wait for your last 1 minute turn. If you want to do a high flight, it is included during your last 1 minute turn but costs $20 extra. Our group had a new instructor being trained, so she took up to 3 minutes every second turn, while our group had to sit and watch. So yeah, we were there over 90 minutes.

I took my 9 year old to do this as a rainy day activity. I wasn't sure how she would do with this as she always freaks out on ropes courses & cries that she is scared but she insisted we go. We got there early so she could watch others do it for a while and when her scheduled time came she got ready and had a blast. She never acted like she was scared once and had a really good time, she even decided to add another min for $20. She got to do the high fly and the instructor was great with her. Now my other kids want to do it as well. I would say if you are looking for a unique experience and wanting to have some fun you should definitely give this a try!

What a blast my husband and two sons had. Benji was our flight instructor and he was so funny and awesome at his job. You can tell he really loves what he does. First I do suggest filling out the waiver online before you go. Makes it quicker for you and the staff. After that they will suit you up and you will go into a room for a brief training course. Then let the fun begin. They take the flyer into a holding area and one at a time you get to fly. The trainer is in the flying area with you entire time. (They work very hard to keep you flying). After your flight experience they take you into a room and you receive a certificate of your flight. What a great time and experience we had. Highly recommend this experience!

We stumbled into this amazing advantage. We went to Orlando to celebrate my son's birthday. 7 teens had an amazing time. We had Angel as our instructor. He was incredible and patient with our group. Ask for him as your instructor. He will not disappoint you. On the way home... the kids talked about how they felt flying. Worth the adventure.

The experience was awesome. However, what made it unforgettable and made us return the next day was the flight instructor. Kyle S is personable and kind and truly wants to help your children have an amazing time. He made the experience a 10+++. Thank you Kyle!!!

This is such a fun experience for newbies. From time to time I'll take a group of 4-10 people to try out flying. I think the Orlando location is used to so many tourists that even when you tell them you've flown many times in wind tunnels and can even sit fly they still won't give you the wind you need. Because of this, other locations are better for more experienced flyers.
