The menu changes to keep the experience fresh, but favorite foods may include mamey and flan ice cream, plantain cups filled with chicken, picadillo empanadas, guava pastelito, Cuban coffee, guarapo juice, croquetas, dulce de leche churros and malanga frita—it’s like a taro root, but sweeter. As you walk, take in Little Havana cultural highlights as well, visiting artist studios, catching some Cuban rhythms, watching cigars being rolled, and learning about local spiritual beliefs and practices. Take advantage of the small-group atmosphere to ask questions about life in Little Havana, and get tips on where to eat, drink, and explore in Cuban Miami. Tour ends at the original departure point.

About the operator
- fruitandfritopie00EasygoingHelena had a really good vibe. Likable and attentive. They accommodated my vegetarian diet. Would recommend this tour.
- 727alisab00South Beach food tour with HelenaHelena was very knowledgeable and made the South Beach Cultural Food and Walking Tour a great Miami experience!
- rajcorona00The Essence of a NeighborhoodA great experience. Especially post-cruise. Our ship docked at 6 am on a Monday. We got to the hotel baby 11, left our bags and Uber'd to This wonderful tour by 12 am. I used a trekking pole as my ankle got hurt on the boat and had no issues keeping up. Robyn was great. She really gave us a feel for South Beach and its history, having actually grown up in the area. She was in a constant state of happiness, giving us a feeling of pleasure at just being there while being infused with knowledge and understanding. My wife is a vegetarian and great care was taken to make sure the food/drink we sampled was just as good and reflective of what the rest of us ate. I am sure that there are numerous books out there that will give you all the facts we learned, but who will interpret them from a real time perspective as a resident? And feed you. And let you enjoy the company of others of a similar mind? They try to keep the groups to 14 to keep it quite personal.
- jodyr122500Food for FunThe tour was great my family and I enjoyed. Our tour guide Mlrka was awesome and will recommend to all.
- jeffkG4087NX00Markita is the bestWe did an amazing tour with Markita in Little Havana and the food and the information she gave was absolutely great. It was nonstop for 2 and 1/2 hours and she gave us a true sense of the culture and wonderful food of the area. A total pleasure being with someone who LOVES WHAT SHE DOES!! Ask for her tour and you will not be disappointed!!
- 523aliser00Good food with the history of South BeachHelena did a great job of making this experience entertaining and educational. We learned a lot more about architecture and the history of South Beach than I expected for a food tour. The food and drinks at each stop were delicious and it was a fun addition to our trip.
- Jody04100Time well spent in Miami!I was visiting Miami with my adult daughters. All four of us loved this tour. Helena was our tour guide. She was amazing! We so enjoyed all the places we visited and the food we ate. And enjoyed hearing the stories Helena told of the founders of South Beach and various other stories of Miami’s evolution over the years. Would definitely recommend this tour!
- Guide3672855650500Wonderful food tour!It was wonderful experience! Our tour guide Helena was knowledgeable and well prepared for this tour. Food was delicious! We will come back definitely! Thank you!
- Faye C00Great Food tour in Little HavanaMaribella was an experienced tour guide originally from Havana who had a bachelors degree from Havana in both history and tourism! She made the experience a tour to remember! We learned all about Cuba, Havana, little Havana and the inhabitants that have settled their, their past times, culture, food and drink and we happened to be lucky enough to see the grandmother of little Havana who pressed fresh made Gua apple juice made with fresh crushed sugar cane from outside of Miami! She was 83 and all I can say is I hope I look that good at 83!
- Voyage3866658467600Professionalism at its finest!Ria, our food and cultural history guide/teacher was extraordinarily passionate about her work! I learned so many interesting things from her. The pace of her presentation was phenomenal and the food that we (I was in a party of 13 people) sampled was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend experiencing this tour!
- Y6801YCsusanc00Helena, our host, on this tour did a fantastic job explaining the history and culture of Miami and South Beach. The Latin eaterHelena, our host on this tour did a fantastic job of setting us up with great Latin eateries in Miami, South Beach along with explaining the history and culture of the area. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to Miami Beach if you never visited before and ask for Helena
- Cunha5300Great Experience for Food and History of South BeachThis is a food and cultural tour I would recommend to anyone visiting South Beach. Our tour guide, Helena, was absolutely wonderful and provided a detailed history of South Beach and its art deco buildings besides taking us to enjoy some of the local cuisine. We stopped and enjoyed the different flavors at 4 locations, each very unique to their cultures. Because of this experience, we plan on another Miami Culinary Tour in Little Havana on our next visit here.
- 853marilynb00Cultural food tourFantastic tour given by Helena. Tried many different foods and had some south beach history as well. Highly recommend!!
- mikehT6203MZ00Great food tour with Armando.Armando our guide personal story and being from Cuba added much to the tour. Also the food was great and we got lots of different things to eat.
- CaroleA100Great South Beach Food TourRia was our guide and she was fabulous. The food was all really good and the information on the architecture was so very interesting. You can tell she is a local! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun day, knowledge of the history of the area and really great food.

My partner and I had the best time during the tour with Jasmine. We only had a day to spend in Miami and wanted to learn as much as possible about Little Havana —we're glad we chose to do this! The food, drinks, and snacks were delicious! Be sure to go hungry!
Jasmine also gave us many great recommendations of things to do in Miami during our short stay.

The Little Havana Food Tour was excellent! Ria was our guide and we had a blast. Ria knew her food and her history. We came as a family of six and she was so kind to my kids. Everything we saw and ate was great! We couldn't decide what we liked best. The sandwich, the empanadas, the guava Cuban donut (don't reminder the name), and the sugar cane water were all very tasty. Go on this tour and come hungry!

A great experience. Especially during a cruise visit to Miami. Our plane was scheduled to fly out at 5:30 pm, so we booked the tour at 11:30 am, left our bags at the hotel and Uber'd to this wonderful tour. (Disclaimer - We used this company for a South Beach tour the day our boat docked, it was so good, we did this tour two days later)
I used a trekking pole as my ankle got hurt on the boat and had no issues keeping up.
Martica was great. She really gave us a feel for growing up in Little Havana and its (and her family's) history.

I'm trying to book for Wed. April 26th 2023...but site won't let me, no openings that day. Is this true? Being so far in the future, I thought we could secure a spot.

Hello! We are a group of 10 hoping to join your tour in late April. One of us has a gluten allergy. I see you are not able to accommodate this, but approximately how much of the food on the tour is gluten free?
Could we schedule a private tour for group of 27 people on April 12 or 13?

Hello, I would think that you could because you will stay on one street and go in and out of places within a short distance. The only thing that may be a challenge is the sidewalks may be bumpy in some spots so you'll have to be careful with that but our guide walked slowly and casually as he took us to each place.
