Overview

Paddle through the mangrove ecosystem of Tavernier Creek on a kayak or paddleboard on this guided tour. Ideal for first time or new paddlers, glide in shallow, clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Marine life like turtles, stingrays, dolphins, and manatees can sometimes be spotted nearby. Sunset and night tours with lighted boards are also available.

What to Expect
Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes early to allow time for application of sunscreen.  We will begin the tour with verbal onshore instruction and then the fun begins.  Head out our canal into Tavernier Creek which is a natural division between two islands.  This is a very protected area with flat water and a little tidal current.  Your guide will point out the local flora and fauna and also give you pointers on how to be a better paddler.  We go at your speed and allow time for a break in the middle. We have boards of all sizes and can accommodate paddlers up to 300 lbs. Our kayaks can accommodate paddlers up to 450 lbs.
