We finished our windy week in Key West with a three hour Dolphin Sighting and Sunset Cruise with Sebago. Well done! We followed a dolphin pod for an hour before returning to sail along Sunset Key down past Zachary Taylor state park for the sunset. They - and the other cruises too - kept us in closer to shore to give us the smoothest ride during a windy week when many day excursions had been cancelled. They know what they are doing and were fun and attentive. The boat was a little over half capacity so it was very spacious. The champange, wine and beer were always available, but right from the start the captain hyped the drinking water as our best friend for the three hour trip and no one was drunk or obnoxious. Appetizers were nicely prepared with six choices.
There are many sunset cruise choices in Key West, each for a different experience.

My wife and I travel as a tradition to the Keys each February. Last year and again this year, we booked the Sunset Cruise and had a great time both times. The crew was fabulous both times and you really can't go wrong with the sunset views past Sunset Key. I highly recommend this as a romantic excursion, but also would be good for friends traveling, as well as Family with teens.

When you read all of the reviews about this sunset sail with open bar, live music, and appetizers, note that not all of these cruises include all of these things. There is a sunset cruise WITH food and music, and one with just the open bar. Also, when you book through the link on this site you are paying MORE than booking direct. Do your research before you book!
We though we were getting the cruise with food, ended up just being the bar. Which resulted in a very drunken cruise for some passengers without any food to soak up that alcohol.
Cruise itself was very nice, lots of space up on deck and below, no worries about maintaining social distancing.
Sunset itself was marred by clouds, but was was beautiful to be out on the water that time of day.

We went on a morning snorkeling and loved it, so when they sent us a 40% off the sunset catamaran Cruise, we didn’t think twice about booking.
The experience was way below our expectations. First of all, the cruise was 20 minutes short of the 2 hours, they left the dock 10 min late and arrived 10 min early.
The drinks were the cheapest you can get and very poor quality.
The captain didn’t even let the kids touch the wheel for a picture!!! We travel all over the world and never had a captain refuse the kids to “steer” the boat for a minute to feel like a captain and to take a picture.
And after such a subpar experience they still have the audacity to ask for a 20% tip!!!

I am sorry we did not live up to your expectations, it is not our standard operating procedures to cut trips short. I will speak to your captain and implement retraining if necessary. We normally welcome people to take pictures at the helm, however due to the COVID-19 we have discontinued this policy. We do hope to bring it back soon. Not sure which drinks you are referreing to, we carry Land Shark and Shocktop beers and Yellowtail wines, which I assure are not the cheapest you can buy. Again, I apologige that we fell short of your expectations.

We could see the most beautiful sunset. The cruise was slow and soothing. I had a wonderful time on the cruise. And would highly recommend to anyone. There were unlimited drinks and snacks provided were also good. We had a live musician who was really entertaining. I give 5 stars.

We took this cruise to celebrate my sister’s 65th birthday. The staff was wonderful and Captain Morgan kept the boat smooth and calm on the water. Going out into harbour with the sails raised sounds and feels lovely. Most people on the cruise chattted together and got to know each other. The staff kept your drinks topped up. At $39.95 plus a tip for the crew you could do this every night at sunset. Absolutely beautiful

The description of the cruise and what we experience were not the same. First of all they boats are too small for the amount of people they sell tickets to therefore there are more people standing (blocking the view )
than those who have a seat. The crew Captain was only concern to remind us several times that her crew live on tips from the beginning to the end. The crew did not come around serving us but we had to go stand and wait for them while everyis talking and the server was totally engrossed to the point that he didn’t know whose turn is next and I for one had to fight for my turn!
Very badly run and operated. Nothing like they advertised

The Sunset Champagne cruise was cute and relaxing. We really didn't know what to expect. If you're looking for something chill to do on the water, this is a good way to feel the sun and wind on your skin, and enjoy the sunset. The sangria was good. Wished we could have gotten mimosas. If you're looking for a party boat, this might not be your cup of tequila. Joe, Drake and Bryce were a good trio. Joe's definitely got personality.

When looking for a sunset cruise, you have a TON of options in Key West. We didn’t want something too long(some are gone for 3 hours) because we had 3 teenage boys with us. Plus, they are considered adults even though they cannot partake in the alcohol, which is part of the price.
This was our perfect choice. We were gone for about an hour and a half, saw an incredible sunset cruise from the water and enjoyed a nice sail.
The crew was very personable and hardworking. The drinks were OK. The catamaran had plenty of space and also had 2 toilets.
You can bring your own snacks, if desired.
Don’t cheat yourself out of a sunset cruise while in Key West. It is a MUST.

Selected the Champagne Sunset Cruise based on the online pictures. Misleading. The boat is actually a smaller catamaran that doubles as a watesports boat during the day and it is filled with inflatable watercraft and kayaks among other things. Disappointing as you are not able to walk around the front of the boat. If you want to get the romantic sunset experience try The Fury boats or spend the extra money on the upgrades they offer. This one is a thumbs down

I have done 2 different cruises with Sebago. I preferred the sail boat version (Appledore?) which included appetisers and drinks. Smaller vessel, fewer people. The 2nd time was on the catamaran, only drinks, more people. Both times we booked ahead as we only had limited time in KW.

There is plenty of bench seating with high backs on the inside of the boat (the covered area). There is seating on the outside, but it is less supportive and very limited.
