We planned a last-minute outing, and Eric was so helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. He also gave us direction on some fun destinations for the kids.

What a great family adventure! Captain Mike and TJ were great at finding lots of marine life. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, tarpins and sharks from the boat. Our snorkeling spot had tons of fish and crabs. Loot at the tide tables and book when the tide is high for best viewing, especially around Crab Island. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about our snorkel trip. Got to see many dolphins and lots of fish while snorkeling. Water was crystal clear. Captain Mike is the best!

We had a great time using Beach Weekend pontoon rentals! There was some spotty weather at our assigned departure time and they were extremely accommodating and helpful as we monitored the need to change our rental times. (They did this while also informing us that this flexibility is available ONLY with the specific boats availability for the day). Once we got there, check in was quick and seamless and they had us loaded on the boat in no time. The boat was clean and comfy and perfect for a fun day at Crab Island! Given the opportunity to rent a boat in the area again, I would definitely go with Beach Weekend!

Pros: I prefer Navarre or Fort Walton area over Destin due to the crowds. Place was easy to find and staff were kind and helpful (in person). This was our 3rd Pontoon rental (previously used Crab Island Watersports) and I highly recommend the 8 hour day out at Crab Island. Slides are fun and process was all fairly smooth once we had all arrived. Cons: I booked months in advance after searching for a rental with a bathroom. Our email confirmation stated there was a bathroom on board. I called a few days before to confirm our reservation, the lady that answered the phone was short and abrupt and I felt like I was an annoyance to her. (This was not the case when we arrived in person). I asked about the bathroom and she said, "We haven't had bathrooms in months" ok well this was new information to me and it would have been nice if this had been communicated to me since my reservation said otherwise. Thankfully I had called so we knew in advance and were able to pack a camping potty (we had a couple small children and wanted to prepare for emergencies). I also had time to make calls and determined that we would be able to dock at Destin Marina if restrooms were needed. We chose to make the best of the situation and moved forward. Then I got a confirmation email the day before which stated there would be limited parking and a 2 car max. If we had known this in advance, we could have chosen a hotel in walking distance but we stayed in Navarre. So the night before we looked into cab and lyft options, included the ones suggested in the email. All were very expensive. We opted to leave extra early and shuttle our party over with an extra trip, of course we arrived and there were plenty of parking spaces and they didn't even take our license plates down so I feel sure we could have brought the 3rd car and it would have been fine. When we arrived back at the end of the day, again there was plenty of parking. If the parking information or the lack of bathroom had been communicated in advance, we would have booked with Crab Island Watersports again as we have had wonderful experiences there.

What a great trip! Dax & TJ were amazing and very attentive to each passenger. Dax reached out to other boats in the area to locate marine life, and we were able to see several dolphins 🐬. Due to rough waters, we weren't able to go into the gulf, but they made sure we enjoyed our trip. The stop for snorkeling was lots of fun. The area is shallow enough for you to be able to get to the bottom and collect shells. Be sure to check for marine life inside . I found several hermit crabs.

We had a great time on this excursion. The captain and crew member were knowledgeable, safe and entertaining. Would definitely go again!

i went to this island back in 2018 and wow has it changed.. and only for the worse.. the water was so dirty and everything reeked of boats exhaust. the water tasted like diesel fuel… the water was so dirty and yellow there wasn’t a single bit of sea life in the water besides a couple hermit crabs… disappointed and ill never go back. this captain and crew were amazing. good helpful company.

Probably the worst snorkeling trip I’ve been on. Captain was friendly and boat ride was nice but very few fish to be seen. The spot they chose to take us to wasn’t very clear and we had to really hunt to see some tiny fish. They did nothing to try to draw fish to us.

Mike and TJ were great! We were supposed to be able to purchase drinks on this cruise. With no notification, they did not. We literally had 10 minutes to grab beverages at the marina. The boat, cruise and crab Island was a lot of fun. Disappointed that we paid for a 3 hour excursion that ended 30 minutes early.

This was well worth it and sooo much fun!!! Captain Mike & Mitch made the trip so enjoyable as they were personable, humorous, knowledgeable about animals and the area, and extremely thoughtful throughout the trip. They played great music and kept the vibe up the entire time. They constantly went above and beyond to make efforts for us to be able to see the dolphins and other animals, like sharks, close up. I have been on a few tours before but nothing like this. It was so fun and the snorkeling was amazing. We got to see a sea turtle, little jelly fish, hermit crabs, gigantic schools of fish (big and little fish), and seaweed with little critters roaming. We also had a hermit crab race that was super fun LOL! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting a great experience and immersion in the ocean. The captains were great and this trip was amazing!!!! The views are unbeatable and the water truly is an emerald green that is gorgeous.

Everything was great about this tour, faculity was very clean and offered everything you would need, the boat and crew were awesome and very knowledgeable,we would highly recommend this tour.

Crew was great 😊 . The boat was clean and comfortable, there was even a bathroom aboard. I would definitely suggest this for a family to do on vacation or if you’re local

Had a great time. Water was beautiful. Saw dolphins and sharks. Then anchored and swam and snorkeled. Lots of cool shells. Staff was very good.
