The boat had 2 slides, lilly pad, and a bluetooth speaker. The island was a blast, make sure you take the morning tour, that’s when the water is the clearest. Our Captain Nicolas Bisordi is very knowledgeable of the water and parked us right in the middle of the action. I would recommend him and his team 100%. We’ll be back!Written May 28, 2024

He is so helpful and accommodating, making sure he took the time to find the best spot for our family to anchor. Our kids loved the slides and the paddle board is always a hit, and my husband and I enjoy the lilly pad. We have shopped around, but find this the best value and service as there are no worries about damage waivers when renting your own, and you have a fabulous and experienced captain who provides all the extras that you would have to pay individually for to add on at many other boat rentals. He provides a great service with a friendly, relaxed personality that fits our family well and we would definitely book for a third time if we get the chance.Written September 1, 2023

We loved being in a family group, not crammed on one of the big tour boats that are everywhere blasting loud music. Being just 5 of us was such a relaxing experience, it made all the difference. We took our time, cruised along and enjoyed talking to Dustin and getting to know the area better. In fact we went to one of his recommended restaurants (Harbor Docks) after the cruise and it was the best meal we've had during our week long trip to Destin.Written July 18, 2023

Our captain was very accommodating and knowledgeable about crab island; answered all of our questions. Would definitely do this again! Well worth every penny! Thank you!Written July 3, 2023

We had a party of 7 which limited our options for a boat but we ended up with a great private charter to Crab Island and it was worth it. If you're debating on the morning or afternoon, I would go for the morning. The afternoon was packed but Nick was able to drive the boat around all the people to find a good spot. He put out all the water toys and we just relaxed in the water. Definitely recommend!

Nick was absolutely amazing! This can be a very family-friendly excursion. There were 10 of us, 4 under 3 years old and 6 adults. They provided brand new life jackets for all the little ones and Nick knew his way around the entire area. He was patient, friendly, and very professional. He was constantly checking the radar and got us out of a big rain storm just in time. We were safe and covered on the boat. The large shade would have been great for a sunny day too. They had a lily pad, inflatable kayak and paddle board. We brought our own cooler and snacks. I couldn’t recommend this company more. They were exceptional!

We have been wanting to try out Crab Island for a while but it was always booked up. This trip we made sure to book in advance and I am so glad we did. Our captain, Nick, was awesome! Crab Island was a great way to hang out in the shallow waters at the beach without the worry of getting knocked over by waves. We took a few of our own items (snorkeling gear, net, football, volleyball, goggles, cooler w/ drinks, bag of snacks and cash for the vendors that sell items/food). Nick had a water pad, surf type board, tube, lounge float, Bluetooth speaker, skip ball, etc. There were crabs and fish we could see with the snorkel gear which was really neat and my kiddos loved it. Overall it was a great variety and our whole group (ages ranged from 1-55) had so much fun! So much fun that after we left we talked about doing two charters back to back next time to have more time out there. We have their number saved to do this again and would recommend to others!

We had a group of 9 (ages 7, 18, 18, 25, 26, 27, 28, 45 and 46) from Indiana. We’ve been all over the gulf coast but this was our first time to Destin. We always do the touristy things and heard Crab Island was a must. I found Emerald Island Charters on Trip Advisor and booked a 4hr morning charter. Nick was our captain, he was punctual and friendly. He had a speaker on board that we were able to connect our music to. I told him the 7yr on our trip had never seen a dolphin so he took us to an area dolphins are known to frequent and sure enough we saw one! We then went and anchored at Crab Island. The water was beautiful. Nick got the Lilly pad, kayak and paddle board out and then aired up the trampoline. We were there approximately three hours and enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend Emerald Island Charters and a trip to Crab Island

Nick and Anthony were great! We had a group of 9 girls and some were visiting for the first time. Nick took us straight to crab island and weaved through the crowd to get us a prime spot. Some of us wanted to put a pong game together so they provided cups and a lily pad for us to play on. A storm was coming in near the end of our trip and Nick watched the radar on his phone the entire time to make sure we were safe. Would definitely use again!

Nick was our captain and he was awesome! Appreciated the local knowledge he shared and how engaged he was with us. Very clean boat and great inflatables for the kids. And it felt really good to support a young local who is building a business with his siblings! Best of success to Nick!

We booked a 4hr cruise and it was our favorite part of our entire trip. Anthony was fantastic! He texted us the night before with clear instructions on where to meet the boat. He was informative on the area and offered some fantastic suggestions on where to anchor, and even offered to take us to a different part for our last hour. He definitely made our experience even better! This will definitely be on our next Destin trip!

This was a great experience for my family and me! The day we were booked for had very bad weather, and Anthony accommodated us by making sure we got out the following day. His brother, Nick was our captain and was incredible. They are very knowledgeable, safe, and over all enjoyable to be around. These guys never hesitate to answer the phone and have the best customer service! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

We took a private charter to Crab Island in June 2023. Nick was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and professional. He met us at the dock and escorted us to the boat. The boat was clean and equipped with various inflatables. We stopped at the marina, by our request, before heading to anchor out. Nick was friendly and engaging the entire time, and made our experience incredible. Highly recommend - it was the highlight of our vacation!

We had a blast out on crab island. I love that it’s kid friendly. Great way to people watch, get some sun, relax, and just have a good time. Our captain Nicolas was very professional and knowledgeable. He drove us around to see the surrounding area, the boardwalk, and we were able to spot dolphins out by the bridge also. They were also great about responding to texts. I would highly recommend everyone try this experience once.

We are considering booking this. When checking availability it asks for the number of adults only. We have 4 adults and 4 kids. Do I enter only the number of adults or a total of 8 to represent the actual number of people (adults + kids)?
