Had a great time at Crab Island! Power Up Watersports was the right choice for our experience! Excellent service, friendly staff and very helpful! Very laid back and easy to book with. The boat was clean, spacious, and had a great sound system! Be sure to tip these hard working young men…they deserve it! Will definitely book with them again!

Derek was great with our tour. Knowledgeable and great with finding the dolphins . Highly recommend having this experience -power up water sports is top shelf !!

Plenty of parking and service was quick and easy. From check in and instructions from Dockhand everything was smooth. We went for Labor Day wknd and there was no wait or any delay. Would definitely book again!

We took the boat to Crab Island. A family of five from 9-4 PM. Boat is a little underpowered and radio didn’t work. It was worth the price of just getting to crab island. It was cheaper than most of the rentals. It got us to Crab Island and back. Worth the value for almost 8 hours. Just need to update pontoon boats!

Staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The entire process was very easy and quick.Will definitely use them for any future rentals.

The price was competitive to others and should have done more homework. The boats are VERY worn. Ours had rust, no plugs work, springs poking out that cut my husbands foot. The only plus side is the place is convenient to get to crab island that is beautiful. Easy to locate.

Great experience. Business is above board and legit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rented pontoon all day and skis for 2 hours. Had some engine fuel starving issue occasionally, business offered spare pontoon but it was not worth switching boats and gear. I really liked fuel included, no charge to refill fuel at end of day. Highly recommend full day to visit crab island and Destin harbor.

Our group of 10 had a great experience renting on a Friday over spring break! We received a text the morning of to fill out our waivers so we were all set when we arrived. Simply had to set up the damage deposit (chose the $40 nonrefundable vs larger refundable hold) Bait shop had ice, drinks etc and chose to add on a lilypad for the day heading to crab island. Staff was super friendly. Would 100% rent from them again!

I rented a pontoon for 5 days on a family vacation and it could not have gone smoother. Capt. Derek delivered the boat and gave me a thorough rundown of operations. He also gave me some great pointers on where to view dolphins. Derek was very responsive with text communication and picked the boat up when our time was complete. I would definitely use Powerup again.

Derek was great. We immensely enjoyed our sunset cruise. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a relaxing cruise with fabulous views!!

The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful for our excursion. We were on a family trip with 5 adults, a 14 yo, an almost 2 yo and a 6 mo old. We are familiar with boating but honestly the water is so calm it was an easy ride. They had life vests to accommodate the 6 mo old and almost 2 yo. If you aren’t familiar with driving a boat, the crew is available for instruction. Crab island was a great experience, but if you’re not familiar with boating would steer clear if not experienced during peak season. There were plenty of areas to anchor or even go up on a beach. We would definitely book with this company again.

This was a family event that was amazing. The dockhands were friendly and helpful (tip them!). I'd highly recommend this place. Arrive early. Parking is plentiful, but the dock gets busy in AM! Bonus: we saw dolphins!

We along with friends rented a pontoon on 9/5/2023. We and our friends have rented pontoons there at least 6 times at least twice a year. I found on their website they offer a 10% discount for return customers. There is no place on the web site to get the discount. We booked and paid at the booking time. I asked about the discount at the office when we got the pontoon. I was told we had already paid and you have to call or book in person to get the discount. That would be good information to put on the web site. We were told the stereo would connect to Bluetooth. We have done that before many times. (One of the friends is a computer engineer) This would not work! We then realized non of the gauges including the fuel gauge worked. We ask when we returned and we were told by one of the employees that non of them work on any of the pontoons. How do you know how much fuel you have or at what angle the motor is trimmed? When we left Crab Island the trim button for the motor would not work and the prop was cavitating and barely moving the boat. We called the office and they told us there was a trim switch on the motor if the one on the throttle didn’t work. They better be happy that I have owned several boats and knew we could not run the motor with the prop cavitating or it would blow the motor. When we told them about the problems we had we got an OH WELL attitude. This was the worst experience we have had with Power Up Watersports but we will not rent pontoons there again. They need to train their people to better inform their customers of the boat operation and check the boats out before they send you out. The condition of the pontoons and lack of customer service has cost them a customer that is about a mile away from them on Okaloosa Island and usually rents twice a year.
