- jamiesV7416FE0 contributionsFun evening with friends. This was so much fun. The guide told us history about a lot of houses along the way. We ended at a small island for supper and a show. They food was very good and the show was entertaining.Written November 16, 2024
- dianemC183PQ0 contributionsDon’t go if you have any food preferencesWould not recommend this to anyone, who is vegetarian or gluten free, my option was a bowl of chips , show médica and staff just couldn’t careless, not interested, worst money ever spent and truly awful way to end our fabulous holidayWritten November 15, 2024
- 910jerrid0 contributionsTerrific entertainment and supperGreat narration by the crew on the way to dinner of the homes, boats & the local water community. Then came a delicious dinner of chicken, bbq ribs, french fries, baked beans, coleslaw, etc. combined with a wonderful singer and great service. THEN (you thought I was done…☺️) we walked around to check out some animals on the island. Followed by enthusiastic Polynesian performers with a sprinkling of audience participation. Fabulous evening for anyone‼️Written September 22, 2024
- jameskY4901TB0 contributionsThe new food menue SUCKSThe food was poor and focused on profits . You were only offered fried chicken strips and pork ribs. There were cold fries on all the tables before we arrived and you were given water and everything else was for purchase. UNHEALTHY COLD FRIES WITH HEAVYLY BATTERED CHICKEN STRIPS. The boat crew and all the staff were very nice.Written September 15, 2024
- emmsyd10 contributionsTerriblePlanned our entire day around this cruise. Canceled same day. No sign on the office or the boat. Several other patrons showed up at the office as well. Need much more advanced notice of cancellation.Written September 7, 2024

- KristenS816190 contributionsJungle Queen AdventureMy family and I had a great time on the Jungle Queen. The ride to and from the dinner show was very nice. The guide pointed out cool things along the way. The grounds on the tropical island were beautiful. We enjoyed walking around taking pictures. The dinner was the only thing that lacked. The food was cold and was lacking flavor. For the price we paid dessert and a beverage should have been included. The show after dinner was great to watch. The dancers were very entertaining. I recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for something cool to do while in the area.Written August 26, 2024
- A3531NIkd0 contributionsEnjoyable experience!!We had a really nicr experience on the cruise. The food was as they advertised a bbq with coleslaw (tasteless), baked beans (really good), fries( really good), corn bread (the worst out of everything, VERY hard and cold) don't know how corn bread fit into a bbq, ribs (pretty good, wasn't falling off the bone like mentioned, chicken fingers (good). The servers were good, they made sure to stay on top of offering up seconds, thirds if you wanted. Walking through the island was nice, very well maintained with the lush greenery and the twinkling lights, nice backdrop for photos. Bathrooms can be updated. A few tropical birds, owls, but no alligators 🤷🏾♀️. Enjoyed the entertainment, interactive with the crowd and very friendly. Really enjoyed the boat ride through the canal seeing how the wealthy live and the yachts were amazing 🤩. The guide did a great job narrating the cruise. Overall a good experience and would definitely do it again.Written August 24, 2024
- Q1758VSbene0 contributionsNo food accommodationIt was a great experience perhaps they did not have any food accommodations. I only had some fries for the dinner since they didn’t have any substitutions for the meat. When you’re filling the reservation they ask for any dietary restrictions but they do not accommodate at all. It’s very unfortunate that with the amount of people they get they do not accommodate their food.Written August 15, 2024
- E7659BEpaulp0 contributionsJQ MEAL AND SHOW 8-11Great experience. JQ staff are friendly. Meal is good. Dancesr and the music during the meal were excellent. Parking is no problem. Meal only includes chicken and pork ribs. If you do not eat pork, choice is limited. Make sure to have cash for tips. The venue only takes credit cards. This made it impossible to leave a tip. It was a great evening. Dancers work very hard and are very kind.Written August 12, 2024
- constancee7240 contributionsGreat Family Mini-Cruise with Barbecue! We have taken this tour several times and it is always on our list of fun things to do when we have houseguests. We had great weather and everything on these tours always runs like clockwork. As soon as you land on their cute little tropical island, you had straight back to the dining area and the food is immediately served. The Hawaiin dancers were very entertaining and we enjoyed the trip. The drink prices on the boat are a rather overpriced, but very good.Written August 11, 2024
- bhmacheryl0 contributionsReliving Special TimesMy husband wanted to relive special times when he was on the Jungle Cruise as a child with his parents and as a young adult with his friends so to celebrate his milestone birthday we booked the dinner cruise. We arrived at the designated time and there was no issue with parking at the Bahia Mar resort. Parking was just steps away from the boat. You can enjoy a cocktail as soon as you board. The cruise commentator was excellent and gives you interesting information and stories on the property owners you pass on the cruise. At their island, you are served dinner by wait staff who were all excellent! You do have to pay for any beverages (except water). Beverages are reasonably priced. There was excellent entertainment (singer) during dinner. There is also a hut that serves ice cream, but that is also an additional charge. The show was Polynesian dancers and was terrific! The grounds of their island are beautifully landscaped and there are a couple of animals and birds. Lots of areas for photos. Very family oriented. The return cruise was beautiful at night and the cruise commentator gave us more great background stories of the owners of some of the properties we passed on the tour. Please note there is no a/c on the boat or on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!Written August 2, 2024
- NorthStar386672951490 contributionsDon’t miss it!The cruise was amazing and well worth the money. The gentleman narrating the homes was so knowledgeable and kept our interest. I thought the food was great considering it was an all you can eat. The singers at the dinner were wonderful as well. Where they missed the boat is the Polynesian show. It was great, but it was a lot of similar dancing and people. Maybe a different show or a more creative way to do that show. More people, drums, more audience participation…something new. If you change the show, people will go more often because it’s a GREAT cruise and dinner show.Written August 1, 2024

If you’re looking to be wowed by some multimillion dollar homes, you will see quite a few on this tour. The Jungle Queen IV was COVID safe, had bathrooms and a bar. The narrator gave lots of interesting facts on the first half of the tour and then played music for the same route back. They recommended that we sit in front, but we found that with the narrators pacing we were often past what he was talking about so maybe sitting in the back would have been better. Don’t worry about being there right at the loading time 45 min before because there is a lot of seating and they didn’t let us on until 30 min before anyhow. The tour was nothing fancy but my family enjoyed the couple of hours. We parked at the large Bahia Mar hotel parking lot for $7.

The cruise was very enjoyable! However it ended on a very annoying note! At the Jungle Queen box office they offered me $7 parking in the hotel lot next door where we parked. I purchased 2 for the vehicles in my group. When my car left the lot I was unable to make the QR code work. Fortunately a lot attendant came and made it work. The 2nd car could not make it work and no attendant around, cars behind them so they paid the $10 lot fee. So that costs $17 to park! I do not recommend purchasing Jungle Queen parking! We are from a large city and know how parking works so it wasn't user friendly at all! I am going to ask Jungle Queen for a refund and will let you know how that goes.

Hello,
I’m sorry this happened We have an agreement with The Bahia Mar for parking as a conscience to our guests. The normal fee for parking is 18.00. I will speak with management at both Bahia Mar and Jungle Queen and get back to you.

This is a fun and economically priced boat ride to enjoy with friends or visitors. The weather when we took it was warm but very cool breezes on the river. A funny captain gave us information about the rich and famous who owns yachts and homes along the river. For the most part, nobody is home there, but the tour was entertaining, relaxing and fun. There is a Groupon for this activity so be sure to look that up. You do have to print out your tickets as they will not except purchases on your phone.

We thoroughly enjoyed the jungle, boat sightseeing cruise. The instructions on getting there were very good, check-in was easy, the seats were comfortable and shady.. they had very good mixed drinks or beer if you prefer. They also had some snacks such as chips. We went on a similar cruise in Miami last year and this one was so much more fun and you cannot beat the price. the narrator did a very good job also, you pay a flat fee of $11 for parking at the bar when you get on the boat and then they give you a QR code to scan when you check out with your car . I think we are going to go back and do the nighttime cruise because we liked it so much.

Jungle Queen Riverboat was a very fun and relaxing way to enjoy sight seeing of beautiful homes and yachts. The host is very knowledgeable and full of dad jokes (she makes the tour more enjoyable). They serve adult drinks and regular drinks and have a variety of snacks. To get the “best seating” arrive the 30 min required time prior to departure.

I took this cruise on St. Paddy's Day 2023. All in all, it's a solid experience. Relaxing and just what I was looking for while on vacation. A couple things to mention to others who may think of booking this cruise. It doesn't matter what side of the boat you sit on because it turns around so people sitting on both sides will have the same experience. There was a little confusion with parking. Coming into the lot the guy said parking was free then I saw a sign while getting on the boat that you need to pay for parking on the boat. The people on the boat said it's $4 an hour to park or you buy their voucher for $10 which lasts for 6 hours. Also, if you want to get a seat overseeing the water make sure to get their early. I think they could increase their revenue by selling some merchandise or maybe a raffle.

Had done this tour several years ago and really enjoyed it so when we had friends visiting from Australia we booked this tour as an activity to show them some of Ft Lauderdale. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guide was very entertaining with many stories to tell and although the weather was a bit chilly fo south Florida we all had a great time on board the Jungle Queen.

So the boat is to depart at 2:30, however because people are irresponsible and inconsiderate to others...and arrive late, all of the rest of the responsible and on time people have to wait. So after a 20 minute delay we finally left. There should be no reason why the boat has to wait for late people.

We took the 90-minute narrated sightseeing cruise in Ft Lauderdale. I highly recommend this tour for everyone visiting Ft Lauderdale. This is a fun and very relaxing way to see intercoastal waterways of Ft. Lauderdale. I had to move my cruise to a different day due to rain and the staff was very accommodating and moved the cruise very easily over a phone call. Parking can be done at Bahia Mar hotel for a flat fee of 8 dollars. Parking ticket can be purchased on the cruise itself. Narrator did an excellent job of describing all the houses that we can see during the cruise. She provided lot of information.

Step back in time almost in a period look river boat to get a first had close look at the homes of the rich and famous. We were staying in Naples and decided to trip out fo the day, having seen plenty of luxurious homes in Port Royal, we could not have anticipated the sheer number of large and expensive homes and boats on this tour. The tour guide was exceptional, plenty of anecdotes and historical references, dating from the origins of the Bay Area to the current day. The tour went surprisingly quickly, we were enthralled throughout and for us, this was very good money spent - can recommend whole heartedly.

The cruise we went on was a dinner cruise. We went towards evening. They served bar-b-que chicken, beans and potato salad once we got to our destination. Everything was delicious and they kept coming around asking if we wanted more.

That depends on which type of cruise you want to take. There’s one hour tour which tells the history of the lake at one end. Then there’s a dinner cruise. Then there’s a longer I think 3 hour cruise.

You buy QR code when your on the boat, and that lets park at the hotel for $8. Way better then the $50 they normally charge.
