Park with airboat tours, an alligator show, and photo ops with animals. A bit touristy but it’s fun. Good for big groups and families. We booked our tour via Groupon beforehand and a bus picked us up at a hotel downtown at a preset time in the morning. Restrooms are available on the premise and there is one with more stalls in a wild building at the entrance. There is light food and snacks available for purchase as well as a souvenir shop.
The boats were pretty noisy so if anyone has auditory issues, I’d recommend some ear plugs/headphones. We saw only two alligators while on the boat but I think it’s the luck of the draw. We saw the alligator show afterwards which was fun and engaging. After that, we got directed to getting our complimentary group photo holding a baby gator (its mouth is taped shut). You can purchase solo shots/additional photos and items like keychains. Overall, a fun half day excursion for our first time visiting Miami.

While we expected to enjoy a unique nature experience, we did not expect to have as much fun and to be around such great people. We had the pleasure of riding with Captain Ana for our airboat tour. She was a lot of fun, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we were able to experience wildlife and beauty of the Everglades.
The show and the animal experiences post-ride were nice, too. Kevin was a lot of fun to watch as he worked with the alligators during his show.
The gift shop is nice and provides a lot at very reasonable prices.
I highly recommend Antoine and Wide Angle Tours for transportation if you’re staying in downtown Miami.

A smooth and super fun experience from beginning to end! The pick up was quick and easy and we were boarded onto the fan boat quickly. Tyrone was a super knowledgeable captain, was really informative and engaging - you could tell he was passionate too. The speed runs were really fun, and it was fantastic to be able to see all the local wildlife (Gators included) the gator show after was also a really fun experience. If you’re considering touring the Everglades, I’d recommend this company!

We did this tour from our Cruise to pass time in Fort Lauderdale and so pleased we did. We started with an alligator encounter with Paul Bedard from Gator boys who was funny and informative all in one go. It is amazing how docile these alligators are and they even come by name like a dog does. There is a chance to get a photo with a baby alligator if you like. Next was the airboat ride to see the Everglades and to find alligators in the wild which we did. They are really noisy so bring earplugs. This is really fun and suitable for all ages. The alligators in captivity are all “rescue” and you can tell he really does love them.

The alligator show before the airboat ride was wonderful. He did an awesome job and very entertaining. But the airboat diver JR was extremely rude. We had a party of 8 and he told us to get on separate rows 3 each. We ask if we could do 4 or 2 by 2 so couples could sit by spouse. He screamed “fine just set wherever you want and we won’t be able to go very fast and stormed away from us. When the ride ended he got out of boat and held his tip bucket and offered no assistance in getting out of the boat. We helped two older ladies who were having trouble getting out. They do not provide ear plugs or tell you to bring ear plugs and is painful to your ears if you don’t have them.
There are much better places than this to do the Everglades airboat tours!

We had a FANTASTIC trip with Captain Rick! He told us great stories about his Seminole Native American heritage and stories about growing up on the Everglades. He stoped and let us look for alligators and to take pictures. He deputized us as Evergladers too! Such a good time! We had so much fun!
We loved the alligator show and holding a live alligator was awesome! The show was FUNNY and educational.
Here’s the skinny: What a fantastic experience! My husband and I took a BigBus from Miami to the park, so we skipped the long lines. (You really want to skip the long lines.) If you buy online, you have to get in the long lines and redeem your receipt for a ticket. Buying BigBus in advance means you skip the long lines and go straight to the alligator show then boats. BigBus takes care of everything for
You…. No lines. We got on the 8:30 AM and this was a good choice because we got there before it was too hot.

My partner and I had a great time on this tour and were really glad that an option with transportation was on offer. It was a seamless experience from pick-up to drop-off. Our driver, Tommy, communicated with us on the day of pick-up and it felt like we were getting a tour of Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas while driving out to the park.
Once at the park, Tommy got waters for us and helped ensure we knew where to go. Our airboat captain was Anna, and she had a great energy and spirit to her. You could tell she was passionate about her work and she shared with us that she was the only woman and the youngest airboat captain at the park. We got to see one gator up close and personal while on the boat, and Anna also showed us a bunch of adorable birds who flocked to come see her on one of our stops. Couldn't believe how fast the boats go (or how loud they are haha).
After the boat tour, we got to see Kevin and his gator show, which was both impressive and scary - you have to see it to believe it! These gators are apparently "rescues" who have been deemed nuisances by the state and would have been otherwise killed.
Also included is a photo that they take of you right before you get on the boat that you get to take home for free. Overall a great experience for a day trip with your partner, friends, and/or family.

What a great experience. Our tour guide Eric was very knowledgeable and friendly and had great stories of the everglades to share with us. Our airboat Captain, Chaos, knew exactly where to look for alligators and birds. Highly recommend.

We took this as an excursion from our cruise. The airboat trip was nice we enjoyed that part. But after the alligator show their animals that you are suppose to be able to see but the staff is yelling at you to keep it moving and cannot look at the animals. Very unprofessional and annoying.

Overall it felt like a rushed cheesy tour. Probably good for families with small children but not for just adults or teenagers. They are trying to push so many people through, in a bunch of air boats, in the same square mile. No wonder we didn’t see any alligators. The driver told us 3500 people came through today. That should give you a sense of the atmosphere.

Can we be picked up at the cruise port but be dropped off at the airport? Will you keep our luggage?

The tour from Princess Cruises that included this did. It would be best to check with who you are sailing with to confirm.

Our son is in a small travel-light electric wheelchair. The batteries are removable, turning it into a manual wheelchair. He cannot walk at all and cannot transfer to a regular car seat. We'll be staying at a FLL hotel. Plus we're renting a wheelchair van. Transport us to and from our hotel in a wheelchair-accessible van?
