Overview
Focus on Florida's flora and fauna during this half-day tour in Crystal River. Combine visits to a national wildlife refuge, a state nature preserve, and an archaeological park with the chance to swim with native manatees. This multi-stop tour is easy with all transportation provided, and gives you a full picture of the natural elements that make this area of the country unique. All instruction and safety information for the swim with the manatees is provided by your guide.
What to Expect
You will arrive and be provided with in-water gear.  Included are your wet suit, mask, snorkel and a flotation device.  Once you arrive and get fitted, you will receive an educational briefing on manatees and how to be in their area.  You will board your small group vessel (6-10) and leave right from our marina location. Your USCG Licensed Captain and in-water guide will narrate the trip, point out birds and critters and of course be in the water with you.  Once you are done swimming, there will be hot cocoa or water on-board for you.

You will be encouraged to behave as a manatee in the water. Slow, Calm and quiet.  Floating and allowing the manatee to choose how he wants to be. They are wild animals and we are entering their space. Passive Observation is best.

Adorable!

We had a great time swimming with the giant puppies of the sea! Dakota and Sebastian were wonderful. We highly recommend this tour. Another bonus...swimming in fresh water and seeing how some Floridians live.

No, but we were able to take pics with our cell phones using a clear, double sealed, waterproof pouch while actually under the water. The pics came out great!!
