The Florida United Numismatics Show ( FUN) is held at the Orlando Convention Centre in June and July. I attended on my way for a vacation in the Keys as I have done before. First impressions are really friendly and helpful volunteers to greet you. The theme of this show was to attract younger people into the hobby which was a great theme particularly as so little history is taught these days which was always a route into the hobby. I have eclectic tastes and collect primarily Ancient coins, together with British Milled, Morgan Dollars and latterly Treasure or Shipwreck coins. This show catered for me and I guess any conceivable collector of any type of coins on a vast scale. On one table I saw at least 40 gold aureus something you wouldn't normally see outside of a museum. Although not as big as the ANACS show this is a great show and I would recommend visiting. Entry is free , parking is reasonable and the enthusiasm is catching. The FUN folk do a great job and having been before I now make this a regular event.
