- douglasellenc00Excellent adventure! We have visited Tree Trails a few times in the past two years. Each time has been an excellent experience! The staff is superb - very attentive We will definitely return!
- akbistro00A fabulous multi generational family visit !This was an absolutely positive experience . The youngest 4 the oldest 44 , a multi family experience. Clean, friendly, challenging, confidence building ! Great staff and safety. A definite do again !!!
- KrystalBradicich00WOW! Way better than great! My 9-year-old wanted to go for months, so I finally bought her a ticket and let her go up all by herself. Halfway through the first obstacle she says, "Mom, this is NOT what I expected!" I said, "You look like a pro up there (which she really did)". She stuck out her little hand and said but then why am I shaking so much, and her hand was trembling and the line below her feet was shaking... with words of encouragement she was able to get through the obstacle. This was a great experience for her because it taught her that you can overcome struggles. The course was amazing as an adult to see some of the other adults up there really laughing and having a good time, it was nice to see, and no - one had any cell phones out up there!! The courses look extremely challenging the harder you get, we just did two of the easiest ones - but they were still challenging and very high in the sky! My daughter did the zipline at Foxwoods and I think she thought this was going to be the same thing... it was much more fulfilling and took 2 hours of climbing and there were definitely zip lines throughout the course!! The staff was amazing and friendly and helpful. I had an amazing experience, and it was 10x better than I had thought it would be just from reading the reviews and going to the website. I would go again and again, and I may even get seasons pass, where you can climb whenever you want, weather provided!
- douglasellenc00Amazing AdventuresI have thoroughly enjoyed my five different trips to Tree Trails. My grandchilden, seven, ten and twelve. as well as myself, were all very happy with the layout of the park. Not only are the Tree Trails courses fun and challenging, the staff is outstanding - very helpful, patient and encouraging. I highly recommend this adventure.
- neobyrth00glow IN THE PARKI would have gone 4.5 but that wasn’t an option. The park is what you expect, a challenging ropes course, which is fun with the kids. The staff were super friendly and made all of the directions to get started and where to go next super clear. Getting to do this at night added to the fun. The only thing I would like to have seen was a little more “glow” to the glow in the park. We did a glow stick and ring and there were lights around (as an aside, the music was good too) but I think if they dropped a few black lights along the way to make the participants glow a bit, a few more glow features, that would really have sealed the deal for us. I would still definitely recommend spending an evening here.
- Rick H00Tree Trails Adventures makes for a fun afternoon! My wife and I decided to try this out on a whim and I’m glad we did! We’re in out late 60s and thought the adventure might be too strenuous. We were wrong. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Even on the more challenging elements we never felt unsafe. We’d definitely do it again and attempt the blue course. We did the yellow and green course this trip. The green course zipline was great!
- RiseStrive00GreatWe had a fun time exploring the obstacles in the trees. The yellow trails were challenging for a first time but not difficult, and once you got the hang of it the trail course moved smoothly. This trail system has many trails including 2 yellows which were fairly long trails. This is nice if you aren't up for the challenge of increased difficulty, you can still have options to climb. Everything was provided for an enjoyable experience and the staff was friendly and helpful!
- EmilyRhody00Fun and good exercise! We went with a group of 4 relatively athletic adults and can say each of the courses were challenging in their own way. We were able to do most of the courses in our time allotment both easy courses, the medium and then some chose to continue on to the expert or hard courses. The ziplines don't have a great way to stop so you need to pay attention and be ready for impact more than we anticipated. Aside the ziplines, I enjoyed all the courses and definitely was dripping sweat by the end. This is definitely for someone who has good mobility and is looking for a physical challenge.
- roberteaton500Great time!We took our 4 teenage grandchildren and they had a blast! Only one did the black level and said it was really hard.
- jrdelayo00Fun challenge!Black course was very challenging! If possible, add another zip line! Super fun, staff is very friendly and helpful!
- roxieonthego00FUN FOR ALL!What a blast! Also a confidence builder, over coming a challenge, and team building. Well trained staff that are also stationed all around.
- E4114KNmichellem00Memorable ExperienceThis was a friend and family reunion with kids and the first ropes course for most of us. It was amazing, well-run, safe and totally challenging in many ways. I left feeling more bonded to my loved ones and grateful for the creation of an unforgettable memory of all of us climbing our way through the trees!
- Richard R00Challenging Fun!Several courses for all skill levels. Great time, Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff...Will definitely go again.
- 552AmyD00Great day of funThe website was easy to use to sign up for our climbing time and complete our waivers. Everything was well organized and super safe. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. Overall a great day of fun with the family.
- KarenBlum6600Fabulous for our whole familyWe had a GREAT time here - from age 8 to age 48. We are all relatively athletic, and that is necessary on some of the harder courses, but most anyone should be able to do the easier courses. Be sure about the reach height as that's going to be really important for your younger kids. My 8 year old did most of the courses, including the intermediate, but her hardest part was reaching up to clip on her harness (not the actual agility) - she made the reach height by only 2". We spent almost the entire 3 hours there, and it was worth every penny. It had a LOT of options (from easy to really hard) so there is something for everyone. Safety was a top concern of theirs, and we felt safe the whole time (which is good because some of the courses are quite high). Thanks for an excellent afternoon!

What a great place, The courses were appropriately rated and offered challenge to the level of the climber. I was very impressed by the level of professionalism from each employee. A climber from my group reached an element that was too difficult and he could not continue, the rescue process to safely belay him down from that point was incredible. The calmness and detailed instructions about he process of the staff member helped the stuck climber feel safe and at ease. I look forward to the next trip!

I have been 2 times now to the Fields of Fire. The first time I went with 2 girlfriends and we had so much fun that I knew my grandchildren would love it. Took them yesterday and we all had a great time. My only complaint would be the girl giving instructions is rather soft spoken and there is traffic from the highway making noise. If she is going to give the instructions she should use a device to amplify her voice. My grandson has some ADD and I knew he wasn't focusing on the instructions because he couldn't hear her. Once we did the trial on the course a foot off the ground and he could do the hands on it was good. But he missed the part about always clicking the safety gear into blue labeled wires. " if it's blue it's for you" So I caught him once using a yellow rope and had to reteach him. But the staff is really helpful and it was really hot when we were there yesterday and my granddaughter got a bit overheated. The staff was super helpful in making sure she was safe and hydrated. A couple days later you will notice muscles you forgot you had. But all worth it! We will definitely be going back.

I thought our climbing experience was AWESOME! My husband and I took our tall and athletic 7 year old son and we all had a blast. It was a great workout and mentally challenges you a bit, too, which is always great to exercise your brain and body. COVID-friendly activity, which is hard to find. We loved being outdoors on a chilly fall night. The staff were excellent and really great with our son. We are so lucky to have this as a resource practically in our backyard. I'd drive an hour to come! 3 hours went by really quickly. I wouldn't recommend it to folks my parents' age - 60s+ unless you're in good, limber shape! Otherwise, it seemed like there was something for everyone.

I booked this thinking it would be a great experience for my 8 year old while she was on school break; however, they should not advertise this for any child under the age of 12. It is very physical. You have to be at least 5'3" to reach and re set the clips into position. In the middle of the course (of which you cannot turn around) she would have to clip and reclip 65 feet in the air and she isn't tall enough to do so. They do not have someone up their with you. You are on your own. That is perfectly fine for teenagers who are strong and tall enough, but not for younger kids. We stayed on the training exercises the entire time, which she did have so much fun on. They should add shorter courses for younger kids. They truly need to update their website with height and age requirements.

My two sons and I had an absolute blast at the Fields of Fire Adventure Park and will definitely plan to visit again on our next trip out east! The courses offered great variety, and were physically and mentally challenging (all in a good way). We felt that our safety was a top priority for the staff, who also made sure that we were enjoying our experience every step of the way. The staff was absolutely delightful, friendly and willing to help at all times. A must do!!

What an experience!! Lori is afraid of heights but tried the beginner course and after making it through 2 of the rope line courses she was having a blast. I made it through the advanced course and it was a challenge. Arms were sore but what great memories!

We have driven by Fields of Fire many times and decided to finally make it a family day. It did not disappoint! I will say that it is a very physical activity so if you aren’t up for balancing and hauling your body weight around, this may not be for you. I was a little nervous but the staff was great and really puts you at ease. Ashley went over all the safety protocols and how to fit into our harnesses and she was excellent! We started on the green course, which is one level above beginner, and it was a bit challenging to start with but once you are comfortable clipping in & out the courses are easier. I would definitely suggest bug spray but we did go on the hottest day so that may have been the problem! Our 17 &19 yo were finally exhausted 3/4 of the way through the black expert course but really enjoyed it regardless. Once again, it’s a very physical activity, especially for younger kids. There were 2 young boys on the courses with us and they were having a difficult time with the yellow course.
We will definitely go back again as our kids have challenged us to the orange course!

If you are in the area, you have to make Fields of Fire Adventure Park a must on your 'to do' list. This was the first time we did anything like this and it was a blast! From my first phone call when Enza squeezed us in for the date we wanted, to the guides who helped us navigate the equipment and the courses, these guys are the best. They made our experience a fun and enjoyable one. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Mystic!

I have been to Fields of fire twice now. Both times have been amazing! They have different levels to keep both experienced climbers and beginners happy. The staff is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I dont climb, but I love the atmosphere to sit and watch my kids. My last visit was post covid, the staff was very conscientious about safety, course and equipment kept super clean. I felt very comfortable having my family there. Can't wait to return soon! The experience is definitely worth the money!

I visited the park with my son in law and two grandchildren (13 & 15). We all took on the adventure. I am older and not very nimble so the yellow was challenging for me. My grandson was able to complete all levels (found it challenging) my granddaughter and their father did yellow, green and orange. We would def go again before we knew our three hours were up!

A very tall 7 or 8 year old might be ok. If they don't meet the height requirement set by the park, they won't be able to reach some of the handholds and it will be very difficult. Our average height 9 year old could just barely reach some stuff.
