      Birthday Dinner
First time visiting there and I was amazed with all the memorabilia from all the different artists there. Our server, Matt, I believe was totally awesome too. I'd be willing to go there again. Covid precautions were followed by all and both my husband and I felt safe.

      Good Food - Poor Service
I visited over 30 Hard Rocks over the USA & Europe, and I must admit it is rare to be disappointed - alas on this occasion Foxwoods didn't deliver. Upon entry we were turned away by staff due to not having passports for ID (British Driving Licence were not accepted, something that no other place has required.) We collected our passports and returned with them. Once seated we had to show our passports again when the waitress took our drink orders. - this seemed bazaar, as we needed to be ID for entry regardless. When the cocktails arrived, one of them was wrong. I said it wasn't a major issue as the one they, brought I also liked. Our food arrived, and the server placed the food down and walked away before I could ask for sauces as we had none on our table. We had the spicy shrimp for starters and then the local legendary (Lobster Roll - Same as Boston Hard Rock) which were both delicious. Overall the staff didn't seem to have any enthusiasm about serving us. Even though it was 2pm and the restaurant was a 3rd full. It's a shame, stop by if you're passing through perhaps but I wouldn't go out of my way to return to this Hard Rock again.

      If you're hungry...
We didn't find this Hard Rock to have the same atmosphere as others we have visited. The food is a bit overpriced and similar to what you might find at an Applebees or TGIF. They really need to jazz up the atmosphere and music to give it a true Hard Rock feel. However, if you're at Foxwoods and hungry, it's not a ridiculous option.

      Good food & service
We were at Foxwoods to play Bingo which end about 2. We decided to stop for lunch before we did a bit of gambling & settled on the Hard Rock as their buffet is much too expensive. Two of us had burgers that were cooked to order & I had the pulled pork sandwich (without the bread) which was very good & had a bit of a twist.....green apples. All were severed with great french fries. The prices are a bit high for burgers but that is expected at a casino.

      Disappointed
Tried to order a flatbread and was told their ovens were broken. My husband’s burger was burnt beyond recognition. Very disappointed.

Always good consistent food and drink
This Hard Rock is the same as all the others. However, there is a live band on weekends and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. If you’ve never been to a Hard Rock one word of caution. The portions are HUGE! My husband and I each split the nachos and each had a side salad and we were stuffed. And we’re big eater. Go hungry.

      Ok, just ok
Strolling through the casino, looking for someplace to rest and relax and get a bite. Visited other Hard Rock cafes so we went in due to familiarity . Friday afternoon, the place was empty. Friendly serving stafff, usual menu choices. Food was slow coming out, but that was OK.. had time to fully relax before eating. Portions ok, food was hot. Burgers and fries, nothing exotic. Burgers were ok. Caution:this place is like the North pole. A/c is so high it cooled us and the food. The nice hot fries cooled off too fast and we left them in the cup. Note to manager:turn it down, can't order more than one cool drink if the place is frigid! Not sure if there is a handicapped entrance. You have to go down a few steps to get to the tables.

We went for my birthday dinner and had a very fun time. They even gave me a free Sunday because it was my birthday. I thought the menu was a little small but the experience was amazing. Great staff and service !

Busy Time but Ah.... Seats at the Bar
We dined here after an event and thought we would be in for a very long wait for dinner as there was quite a line just to take names. Fortunately there were two seats available at the bar so we jumped at it. Same menu, just not a long wait. Awesome bar and menu offerings. Service was prompt and the food was delivious though I thought the fries were too salty. Will still return when in the area.

Always the same, but consistently good
All Hard Rocks are the same, but they are all consistently good. The food is really wonderful (try their mac and cheese, fajitas, fish tacos, or pulled pork sandwiches.) They have a full bar, with standard offerings, as well as fun, fruity drinks. We stop at all Hard Rocks wherever we go because not only is the food always good, but the atmosphere is fun and the service is always great. This Hard Rock is one of our favorites, located right inside the Foxwoods Casino.

      Great Pub Restaurant
Had lunch here at bar and service was excellent. Decent selection of beers and good menu and good food. Atmosphere is great too. Always a great place to stop by for a beer and meal or just appetizers.

      Below average food an service
Nice looking restaurant with lots of memorabilia. Server introduced himself as James Brown and was ok. Tried to order iced tea but they were out of tea...what major restaurant runs out of tea? I had the salmon which was over cooked. Had to go to the bar myself to get my water glass refilled. The restaurant was empty and now I know why. Way overpriced, with so many options in the casino I would not return

      Great service!
Stopped in to the Hard Rock Cafe at Foxwoods casino for lunch with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The food was fantastic and the drinks were great, but the best of all was the waitress. She was amazing! It was our second time there, and was a hit each time. Definitely will be back soon!

Upon checking in at the Great Cedar, we were starved! The first place we came to was the Hard Rock Cafe. We ordered a steak salad and a special which was the pastrami on rye. This, with one glass of pinot grigio cost $64.00. The steak salad could have been an appetizer. The special was outstanding!! The waitress was excellent. If I had to do it again, I would not eat here for their prices.

We were going to a show and did not have plenty of time to spare so we said let check out this cafe that we haven’t visited in years. We sat at the bar. The food was good the service was good and the price was ok. I did get what I paid for and didn’t have to send it back. So yes we would visit again if we have to.

After 2 other not so great visits, we thought we would give Hard Rock another go. Our own fault. We were greated by a very nice gentleman, very attentive, asked for seating preference, not busy when we got there, very cordial and announced server would be right by. Of course I noticed the guy that bussed the table had the grubbiest bar towel, I was cringing. He never rinsed or changed it out the whole time we were there. He would wipe a table and attach it to a belt loop. It had a grungy look to it. Not to worry, we re wiped the table. I guess it threw me off that he was walking around with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth. Gross.
We got there just before 4pm. The server said hello and then took a bit to come back. We asked on an appetizer to substitute for the chicken wings as we cannot eat them. She said sure, chicken tenders. This was $21.95 for just the appetizers. We said great, ordered a cheeseburger and I asked about the beet salad, the menu mentioned you could get it as a side. She said she did not understand. I said and showed her that one could get a beet salad as a side, she said oh, it is under salads. So, we had to look, did not appeal so we passed. Our soft drinks showed up in about 5 minutes. Perfect. Then we waited. The music once again was loud, we looked at the people there, no one seemed to be into the music except the staff. I could see most watching the football game. To each his own but, I will admit to little tolerance to loud music especially when just wanting to get a quick sandwhich. 10 minutes later the condiments arrived. Yay, food was coming. Nope, at 4:30 the server said your food should be out soon. I said, "I hope so, we are close to asking to settle up and leave". She did not seem to like that and said, "Sorry, we are busy"! I just looked at my companion and said, more than ever I am ready to leave. Then, like a miracle, the food appeared. The cheeseburger looked wonderful, (not mine), I had to laugh, he went to use the mayo and it would not come out of the squeeze bottle. Finally took off the cap, the seal was still intact. We got to play the get the plastic off of the mayo bottle for a bit. I was excited to see the appetizers but that ended quickly. Everything was barely warm. It was obvious the plate had been sitting there for quite a bit of time. It was like bringing food home and not re heating it. The onion rings would have been great. Chicken tenders were barely warm and the ones that were substituted had hot sauce on them. Exactly what we said we could not eat.
The bruschetta was lousy. It was 3 pieces of barely warmed at one time bread, no longer warm so just seemed stale. It was topped with chopped tomato, no oil or anything else we could pick out, there was some sort of cheese on top that when we picked them up it slid off with most of the tomatoes. We had seem some on the way in, looked nothing like them. Everything was almost warm as I said. We asked for a box to take home the hot sauce tenders. Server asked if we did not like them. I said no, why would they put the sauce on that we said we could not eat. She said, oh, you did not like them? I said no, we hate them. She said I don't know why they did that, sorry.
So, who is up for cheescake???? First bubbly or upbeat thing out of her. We ased for the check, left a sub par tip. Due to the lousy service and barely warm food, I did not want to even leave one.
Bottom line, we will not be back. Diners, there are better options available to you.

Hard Rock Cafes are known for their ambience and celebrity artifacts. As a couple (one 21, one 20), we arrived for dinner around 630pm on what was seemingly a slow Wednesday night. The hostess, “Jessie”, took a few minutes to notice us. When she did, we were told that families and those 21 and older can sit in the main dining area and those under 21 would only be allowed to a “small back room”. The description in itself was certainly uninviting, but we were flabbergasted to hear that a restaurant would actually have such a rule. Furthermore, that this “rule” is not posted prominently on their website or at their location. Having visited many Hard Rock Cafes, we were simply looking to enjoy some pub style food and take in the surroundings, especially after driving 45 minutes to the destination.

We were very disappointed. My mother couldn’t believe it- and called the cafe just to validate what I had said hoping there was a misunderstanding.

All in all- a bad experience. Not well advertised or explained. The description of their “small back room” should be of concern. 18 year olds can vote and go to war, but they cannot sit in a wide open restaurant that happens to have a bar. Shocking. Either the regulations are completely out of whack, or the cafe cannot control who they serve alcohol to. Either way, the hostess had no explanation except “we’re part of a casino”.

Depressing to see what over-regulation has come to and that front line service workers are uninformed and lack selling ability. I guess customers are not always first.

This visit was a complete turn around from my visit to Hard Rock Cafe in Aruba.
Went in for a light lunch, settled on a margarita flatbread, cauliflower wings and a Waldorf salad.
Everything was just right, the flatbread was perfectly crisp, the wings were hot but not over powered by the sauce and the salad had just the right dressing to let you still enjoy the flavors of the lettuce, grapes, walnuts, apples, grilled chicken, etc.
Doug, our waitor, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He quickly responded to all our needs while still giving us plenty of time to enjoy our meal.
