Today we went on our second ATV side-by-side tour with guide Martin. We used Sage Adventures last June 2020 when we were in Colorado and booked with them again because our first adventure was so fantastic, and we received a 10% discount this time for a being past customer. Today’s adventure was a little bit more exciting than last years. Martin really took his time to explain the terrain, safety, the ATV itself, and took us to some spectacular sites for breathtaking views. He even told some jokes and stories of past experiences which made it very entertaining! I highly recommend Sage Adventures and will book with them again the next time we are in town.

My wife and I and our two adult sons were vacationing in Vail and I had booked way in advance a snowmobile tour. If you want to be able to go during the holidays you have to book plenty in advance as they sell out fast.

We knew we were riding snowmobiles but other than that we did not know what to expect. Well first of all getting there is scenic and interesting. The hard road ride out to Wolcott is scenic but then you turn on a dirt road for about 3 miles to get there. I happened to have a rental Ford Expedition with all wheel drive so not too bad. However the day we were going there was a lot of snow the night before and was snowing when we went. They keep the road plowed and if you drive slow you are good if you have driven in snow and ice. If not you may want to choose the transport option.

When you get there they get you fitted for what gear you need and then a tutorial on the operation of the vehicles and driving them. After that you are on the trails. Our guide was Jimmy and he was awesome! There was only 6 in our group and most of which had atv experience so that allowed for extra time on the trails. Jimmy took us all over and two of the best views on the property. We ended up on the trails for about two and a half hours. Absolutely a blast!

Be sure to dress warm. The day we went was about 20 degrees with complete cloud cover and snowy. Plus even if it is not windy you are driving a snowmobile moving up to 20 mph and the combination of all that can make it cold fast. Most of the bikes have heated handle bars which is a definite plus.

We had so much fun, I tried to get another tour a couple of days later but they were booked of course but I had to try. This adventure was possibly the highlight of our trip.

We will definitely go back.

This is a great snowmobile tour. The team is super professional and pays attention to details. They sent you plenty of confirmations and reminders, call you if you leave a note and make sure you are comfortable with your booking. Once there, everything is well organized and moves perfectly. Our tour guide Adam was professional, attentive, kind, knowledgeable and made our tour really enjoyable. He make sure everyone was following, and knew a lot about the area. I would highly recommend this tour. The location is beautiful and the views are amazing. We did their regular tours but they have a performance tours for those who are looking for something more high speed.

Enjoyed time with family in the winter beauty of late December, with access to rugged terrain, aspen groves, frontier buildings and endless vistas. Austin was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who gave us clear operating instructions and led us through the back woods trails very safely and comfortably. The tour lasted over two hours and was a great value.

my 15 year old son and i took this tour. the stops especially the cliff overlook waa really good. driving was fun. the biggest downside is the dust. they told us to keep within 2 atv lengths of each other so we wouls stay together and not get lost but this maximized the dust levels. as the driver it was fun to go fast sometimes but the overall tour would have been better if it involved a mix of higher speeds anx low speeds. even when in low gear it was pretty fast so the driver has to focus 100 percent on the road with very little time to enjoy the scenery. perhaps a better approach would be to have a high speed thrill ride version and a slower speed version to spend more time enjoying the sites.

We had an amazing experience at Sage. From the moment we checked in until we left everything was second to none. We did the ATV tour and had an absolute blast. Martin was our tour guide and I would HIGHLY recommend him. He was so informative, took a bunch or pictures for us, allowed us to change drivers and the order the ATVs were traveling in just so everyone in the group could have the same experience. I would 10/10 recommend this place and will be coming back. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Thank you for the 5 stars! Glad you had such a great experience out in the mountains with Martin. He is such a great guide. The surroundings, the views, the trails--so much fun on an ATV! We hope you be back to adventure with us soon!

I’ve been to a few states in the Rockies and pretty much always try to do a snow mobile tour. This recent trip to Beaver Creek we met up with some friends that had already booked a snowmobile tour so we joined along. My family included my wife, my 17 yr old son and my 12 yr old son. We ALL had an awesome time, the van driver Brian couldn’t have been more friendly, the equipment that they provide was clean, didn’t smell and was in good condition. The snowmobiles looked new even though I was told that they were a couple years old. The guide, and I hope Im getting his name right Omer was the best guide We have ever had. He was thorough making sure every one was clear on how to operate the snowmobiles, kept a continuous eye to make sure no one was having issues and is so knowledgeable about the area and shared his knowledge in a way that even my 12 year old was interested. This operator has their act together, the reviews say it all and I am happy to be one more 5 star.

Thank you for the fantastic review! I am going to take a guess and say your guide's name is Anders. We are so glad your whole family enjoyed your time out with him- he is a great guide! Brian is super professional and personable. Thanks for your appreciation of all the details that go into making a memorable snowmobile tour. It means a lot to us, and we hope your whole family will join us again soon for another adventure.

My husband and I went on the Class 3 Shoshone Rafting Tour through Glenwood Canyon. My husband had never rafted before, and I only had when I was 10, so I consider us beginners. We also had several groups with kids on this trip. All the guides were so helpful and knowledgeable. Before you even get on the bus, they talk you through what to expect, practice rowing, and answer any questions.
Due to the construction on I-70, we were able to actually see the rapids we’d be rafting before getting on the river (we had to turn around because the exits were only eastbound, and we were headed west). Once we were in the river, the guides pull you off into an eddy and you practice rowing again in the water. We did this for 5-10 minutes, so we were really comfortable by the time we got going. Our guide, Jackson, had us practice 2 different ways so we could feel the difference between using your whole body to row vs just your arms. Super helpful.
Once we were ready, we took off into the rapids. For this tour, the Class 3 rapids are for the first 20ish minutes, and then it’s all class 1 or 2; you’re floating, basically, and you get to enjoy the sites of the canyon!
The rapids are so much fun! Our guide was awesome at speaking clearly when we needed to row, and it made the experience so enjoyable! Once the rapids slowed down, we were able to soak it all in, swim, and chat.

You won’t be bummed about if you book with these guys. So fun, funny, and personable. Awesome!

We had the opportunity to enjoy Sage's Snowmobile Adventure Tour on 1/22/21. In a word, FANTASTIC! The online purchase process was seamless. Dave called the next day to make sure we had what we needed. Confirmation email detailed the particulars regarding what to wear, what time to arrive, etc. And most important, WHERE to meet as it is a private mountain so not exactly someplace your standard app is going to find easily...providing specific GPS coordinates made that easy.

Checkin process was quick and efficient. Trish was our guide and she got us fitted for helmets and answered any questions we had. Her walkthrough of the individual sleds was thorough, interesting and entertaining. Then off we went. Single file through an amazing landscape. She adjusted the tour to our requirements. That is she was prepared to drive slowly if that's what we needed, but she saw the confidence in the 3 sleds behind her and slowly picked up the pace. So we ended up driving faster than we thought which was fun and safe.

The landscape was breathtaking. What a great way to check out CO backwoods in a super efficient and exciting manner.

Big thumbs up from us. You should do it.

Recently went snowmobiling through Sage Outdoor Adventures and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The equipment is well maintained , the staff super friendly and most of all our guide, Ashton, was absolutely wonderful. She helped three of us ride a snowmobile for the first time ever like a PRO, and took all of the anxiety out of the situation. We saw wildlife, incredible views, and rode on well maintained trails. You could really tell that this isn't just a job for her, it's her passion and she wanted us to enjoy it with her.

Although it's off the beaten path Sage Outdoor Adventures is more than worth the drive. As a colorado native I am used to the scenic views, but the landscapes I saw on the tour were completely new, even to me. Their location allows you to see colorado in it's natural state and I can't recommend it enough.
