One of the greatest experiences of my life. Luke is brilliant and he does a great job explaining everything about the stars and planets. He was super accommodating as well with our schedule and was fantastic at making sure we got to experience exactly what we wanted to. Seeing the planets up close for the first time with my own eyes brought me to tears. If you want an experience you’ll never forget and love asking questions about the universe this is the tour for you!

If you are a neophyte this is perfect for you. The “hippie” guide (his words, not mine) was so knowledgeable and humbly passionate about the solar system that we left smarter and in awe. Looking up will never be the same. Dress warmly and bring a blanket if possible because sitting and listening is part of the two hours. Looking through the different telescopes and learning about them was great. We took Lyft and were luck enough to get a ride back to town with other tour people. It’s certainly a little remote so be sure to take your directions. It’s a very interesting tour!

Luke was not quite what I expected when my family pulled up in the woods north of boulder. Nor did I expect the wide array of telescopes he manages to fit into his vehicle. These are no kiddie telescopes. When we could see 4 of the moons of Jupiter as well as the ring of Jupiter in the southwestern sky, we were needless to say amazed. He was able to point out stars with his green laser pointer and make the presentation interesting for all involved, including the kids.

This was such a unique and excellent experience. Luke was knowledgeable and fun to spend an evening with, sightseeing in the night sky. Despite the clouds, he helped us to see a lot of stars, planets and galaxies.

This was amazing we seen a twinkling star in the telescope that was simply magnificent! It pales in comparison to seeing Jupiter and Saturn though so clearly! Very knowledgeable guide that helped us understand and simplify everything! No regrets, definitely 10/10 would recommend and will do again when I’m in the area.

There was a little mix up between the time TripAdvisor had posted and the time the astronomy tour actually started (I am assuming in the winter they do the tours earlier), so when I arrived at 8pm the tour was just ending. Luke stayed for an extra hour in the freezing cold to go over everything he does with his normal tours for just the two of us was which really nice of him. He had 5 telescopes and binoculars to look through and covered a ton of information!
