My whole family really enjoyed this trip, we just wish we would have picked the longer one. By the time we did the instructions and got dressed (we had to wear wet suits due to water coming off the mountains still) I think we only had an hour on the river. It was my son's first rafting trip, he is 9, and he had to miss a part due to a drop which was not bad at all and I wish he could have stayed in the boat. The tour guides were great, fun, and safety first! I just recommend doing longer tour.

Very fun and enjoyed the guides they were funny and good at there Job. I would highly recommend a rafting trip with Durango mountain waters.

This is a beautiful stretch of river starting a little above town and going through some very scenic stretches of the Animas river. The rapids in the spring are excellent class 3 and are perfect for adventure sealers and still safe for beginners. They also offer access to class 4 and 5 rapids, which are not safe for beginners and have swimming requirements etc, but this is a separate trip and also a great opportunity. The staff was great and my son daughter and I highly recommend. The rapids do drop down a level in the summer because of decreased water flow, so be aware and if you prefer less sport and a more leisurely run or have small children plan accordingly.

We had the very best time with mountain water rafting. My husband and I are both at our 60s and he is apprehensive about water activities having survived in air drowning in his youth. This rafting trip was perfect. Just enough white water to get that adrenaline rush but very safe and non-threatening The guides were great. I highly recommend this outfit

My Son Conrad and I had an amazing rafting experience with our guides Steve & Axel - non rushed, informative; they even took us farther down river we were having so much fun. Make sure and ask for the Karate Kid experience. We will definitely be back!!!

The tour was amazing! We saw and learned so much more than we would have if we just visited the park on our own. And Neil is a great tour guide! Informative, engaging, and entertaining! He also took pictures of the people on the tour and they were also great and will be great memories! Thank you, Neil!!

We did the Animas River Classic and had an amazing time. Shae was great. She was very business like with her instructions on what to do but when we actually started the trip, was an absolute delight along with Shiloh, who was our “rescue person”. Shae was very personable and knowledgeable of things along the way. We even saw a buck laying up on an island watching us go by. Would definitely do again and highly recommend White Water Rafting.

This was a fun & interesting tour. Also, Aaron was great & patient & took the time to explain things & answer all our questions. I definitely recommend this tour. So nice having a knowledgeable guide.

My family of 6 had an amazing time on our tour with Aaron. He was so knowledgeable and engaging! We learned so much and had a great time. Even my kids (8,10) enjoyed themselves and loved becoming junior rangers. Would 100% recommend this tour!

What an amazing tour!! The Mesa and all around was absolutely breathtaking. The best part….was definitely our tour guide! His name is Neil. Not only was he knowledgeable of the history of the area and the people…..he was funny, made us all feel at home and packed snacks and water and made sure we had everything we needed. Worth every penny!!

Perfect half day rafting trip for Mom, Dad, four daughters 17-22 and 13 year old Son. All the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend this group.

The process to receive information and plan your trip were quite painless. We went to Mess Verde, my favorite US National Park. Upon meeting our guide, Neil, I knew we were in for a treat. He was quite knowledgable about the park, was willing to address all our questions. Neil went out of his way to make us have a tremendous experience. Finally, Neil is a retired photographer. During our time together, he took individuals and of the group. Later in the evening, we received the pictures he took of us. The photographs will only add to our memories of our day together.
