- 425bobl0 contributionsA "Been there-done that" experienceDid a quick check in to see what the Internations Church of Cannabis is all about. We were in Denver checking out a few other things and drove by this and decided to make a quick stop. Painting were pretty, lots of games downstairs but I don't do games. We didn't want to wait around for the show so we moved on, but we can say we stopped in. I wouldn't suggest this as a must see in Denver, but if I was in Denver for other things and had extra time I would put this on my list. Especially if yo like early era video games.Written July 22, 2024
- 987craigr0 contributionsNot worth $25This was okay. The place has lots of games to play while waiting for light show. The visuals decorations are fun and cool to see (.very colorful). The light show is okay. It has some meditation sections. It is a little hard to understand what they are saying…. The songs played ( e.g., Floyd & Zeppelin) and lights are cool. I just think it is way over priced. $10 is fair to charge- anything more is not worth it.Written January 16, 2024
- jjholmes840 contributionsTotal waste of our time and money! How is this rated #1 on trip advisor? I feel like I just wasted 90 minutes of my life that could have been spent at a much better museum. Worse of all is that I actually had to pay $25 to experience that!Written October 27, 2023

- Copybyechop0 contributionsLast Minute RelaxationWhat started as a last minute sight seeing adventure turned into a relaxing and mind freeing experience. After breakfast me and the wife (in Bill Burr's country voice) decided to visit one last spot before heading to the airport. And it was just what we needed after a long day of walking. If you're ever in the area The International Church of Cannabis is a must see. Not just for cannabis lovers, but still walksWritten April 21, 2023

- Hgtravl0 contributionsBeautiful🌈💫⭐️ SUPER amazing place!!! While visiting Denver this place popped up on must sees! We came the night we landed in Denver & it was beautiful! A old church turned into this amazing space, this church is stunning! They offer lazer light shows & have a super cool “game room” which has tons of fun stuff to see & do. We paid for the ticket to just see the church / game room as the lazer show time didnt line up with our travels- still amazing! The church is the most beautiful work of art I’ve ever seen. Bold, bright & beautiful artful covers the entire ceiling & walls. It was peaceful. Pictures don’t do it justice- its mind blowing in person. So stunning. Come here for the lazer show, perhaps the cool game room or to just see beautiful art!!Written April 11, 2023

The show was great but they allow late comers which everytime the door opened, it would ruin the light show. We arrived 45 minutes early and they told us to go into the church and find a pew. It was pitch black when we went in and people lay down in the pews so we were scared of sitting on someone. We stood in the back and watched about 30 mins of the show.
Outside of the interruptions, the show was great and had a great batch of songs.
The arcade area was awesome and I love that you could buy anything in that room. Shaun White's chair was for sale for 15k. A lot of 80s and 90s memorabilia.
Would I go again? Probably not. The fear of interruptions while attempting to meditate again is enough for me to pass on this but I'm glad I got to see it at least once.

Thank you for the kind words and great review. We are training new staff at the moment and we will make sure to re-train them when it comes to allowing people late into the show during the meditation. That is not supposed to happen! Thanks again and we hope you come back when we launch our new BEYOND meditations!

Not a personal partaker myself, but a fan of new experiences, I was a little hesitant about this “show”. It did not disappoint. 25ish minutes of waiting/finding enjoyment in the lounge (lots of games, activities, shopping), 7 minutes of meditation, and 25 minutes of a rock ‘n roll light concert on the church ceiling. While I wish I had known the price was for less than 40 minutes of “service”, it was still really fun to see what they have available for individuals, couples, friends, and family downstairs. Everyone is so friendly and accepting too—plus gender neutral bathrooms! If you want to make the most of the service, get inside early to sit in the peace chair or grab a flower pillow. But the pews are comfy too, and laying on the ground isn’t the worst thing. Be ready to let yourself go a little bit; be humble.

My experience was a very relaxing and calming to my soul. I really appreciated the superb graphics that were projected onto the walls of the sanctuary. It was very stimulating for my mind, body and soul. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is a fan of the marijuana culture to visit this is you’re visiting Denver.

I attended a guided meditation and laser light show that was very well done. I didn't know what to expect going in, but came out of the experience not wanting it to end. It is performed in a really cool building with great music and mesmerizing visual displays. Definitely worth checking out if in the Denver area!

10/10 must see. The light show is absolutely spectacular and lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. The other 20-30 minutes is spent in the first floor filled with games, and unique art! Very Instagramable !

Came across this place looking for something to do around Denver. The inside of the church is even more spectacular in person with vibrant colors. I came for the light show which was amazing paired with music and thought-provoking quotes. Highly recommend if looking for something unique and artistic in Denver.

1. Enter the reception
2. Pay for the tickets
3. Go inside the waiting room.
4. You wait for around 10 to 20 minutes.
5. There are many games options (paid and free) to play while you are waiting for the show to start.
6. A representative will take you inside the hall when it's time for the show.
7. Show starts with few minutes of guided meditation. You may close your eyes or open them. Just focus on the incoming and outgoing breath from your nose.
8. After the guided meditation, classic rock music starts with different visuals and lights. And, some inspirational words in between. Around 5 songs are played. Songs played are from The Doors, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, etc.
9. Watch the lights on the walls and enjoy the rock music.
10. The show is for around 30 minutes.
PROS
1. Fun games (paid and free) in the waiting room.
2. The show hall is huge & spacious and the walls and ceilings paintings are nice.
3. Laser Lights / Visuals during the show is great.
CONS
1. I found the music to be a bit loud.
2. There was projector or fan kind of another sound as well.
3. If you have previously listened to the songs played there, then you can feel the connection and you enjoy it. Otherwise, the connection between lights and music doesn't happen. I felt the connection and enjoyed some songs but didn't enjoy other songs.
SUMMARY
If you like classic rock songs or have listened to the songs of The Doors, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, etc. then you might enjoy the show fully.
Otherwise, it will just be a loud music show with some visual effects.
If there were no outer sound and if the song/music was a bit soft then it might have been much better for me.

We went on a Friday afternoon (2pm-ish) and it wasn’t very crowded. All staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I really enjoyed the light show. After the hustle of our morning, the meditation part was very relaxing. The rest of the light show is great entertainment-music I was familiar with from my parents playing it. The paint job is outstanding and worth seeing alone. Plus, you can watch a time lapse video of them making it in the arcade. Speaking of which, it was fun playing skeeball and some of the other old games they have out.

Should I bring my just 15 yr. grandchild or would it encourage her to start smoking?
Written January 2, 2022
I think 15 year olds would enjoy this show. They don't encourage you to smoke pot during the show - its just very psychedelic. But the sitting room is filled with marijuana themed items.
