About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- G5616OAmarionr0 contributionsAdvertising goes a long way!It was okay. My only take away is I expected water bottles vs your work jug to give to customers. Also, I don’t know where in the brochure it listed an enclose bus(maybe place a pic online). We were expecting a tour bus, you know the one that has a deck to view and sit outside. Maybe you should put that on your site or explain in detail what type of bus passengers are signing up for. Other than that, the driver was very I knowledgeable about Denver.Written October 5, 2024
- 187bessp0 contributionsDon’t miss!Fabulous trip! Jerry was the best tour guide, knowledgeable, patient and fun. The pacing of the trip was excellent with stops at good intervals. Highly recommend for beautiful mountain vistas, history and geology lessons.Written October 5, 2024

- belgianeagle0 contributionsIncredible tour through the rockies. We spent an entire day with Jerry, who was exceptional—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and deeply passionate about his work—as we explored the best of the Rocky Mountains. He guided us to breathtaking vistas and ensured we had the chance to spot local wildlife. From pick-up to lunch and drop-off, every detail was flawlessly organized, making the experience seamless and enjoyable.Written October 5, 2024
- maetravels10 contributionsThe best of the bestJust returned from a day in the Rocky Mountains and was inspired to write a 5-star review (and no, there was zero pressure or even hint for us to do so…this is me reflecting on an incredible day!) I’ve been on many travel tours and this was the most excellent experience I’ve had. I’m sure all of Aspire’s tour guides are fantastic, but I think our group lucked out with the best of the best. Aaron really helped the group gel together. About 10 minutes in, I already knew the tour cost was going to be well worth it. Aaron was everything you could ask for in a tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, enthusiastic, passionate about his job, welcoming, patient, flexible, and a safe driver to boot. He quickly made us feel at ease, and was always available for questions and sharing gems of wisdom from his plethora of life experiences and trove of Colorado knowledge with us. Seriously…is there a question that he can’t give a super informed and fascinating response to?! I learned not only about RMNP and its history, ecology, geography, and more, but also about Denver & Colorado - sights, culture, food recommendations, you name it. We even got to hear Rocky Mountain High in the van while driving through the Rockies. This tour was not just transportation, it was a fully narrated immersive experience. The tour was so well run. New vans with huge, CLEAN windows (iykyk), and everything we needed to know shared proactively. We were never rushed and were regularly checked in with around our comfort level whether for potential altitude issues, A/C level in the van, etc. We were told where the restroom stops would be, where souvenirs would be available, and what to expect at each place which is so appreciated. The itinerary was great. Lyons was a charming town with amazing coffee and pastries, we had time for a quick stroll around Lily Lake to get some steps in, went to several vistas and lookouts for stunning photo ops, and had multiple wildlife sightings. Aaron made sure we got our photo taken with the official RMNP welcome sign (per request!) and any other photos of us we wanted (solo travelers rejoice). I will be raving about this tour for a long time to come. THANK YOU Aspire & Aaron for an amazing experience!!!Written October 4, 2024
- cmrreed10 contributionsRed Rock, Beyond Buffalo Bill, Look Out and Rocky Mountain viewSteve was our tour guide. He was very informative and made the tour enjoyable. We viewed everything in a few hours as we had no transportation and a short visit to Denver. Love 💓 this tour!! The afternoon tour was just perfect, the cost is the best around, informative and fun!! I highly recommend this tour. Bring a water bottle and dress in layers as the altitude can affect you as you will want to walk around some of the stops especially The Red Rock! There are a few stops near gift shops and snacks. We didn't get to stay at The Red Rocks long maybe 45 minutes as there was a concert that night so they close it early to visitors to set up. Steve made up for it in other ways!Written October 4, 2024
- gkennedy050 contributionsPerfect Tour for first time visitors to DenverThis was an amazing tour for first time visitors to Denver. My daughter and I came for business but with a couple full days to see all we could see in a short time. This was the perfect tour being 4 hours, it allowed us to see and experience the amphitheater, and the red rock , the Rocky Mountains( lookout mountain) Golden, our tour guide Gentry was knowledgeable and a great guide.Written October 4, 2024
- 706leannak0 contributionsA nice way to visit some Colorado must-dos...Our guide, Gable, was lovely! I was a bit deceived by the tour description, as for some reason I thought the entire tour was by train. That being said, the van ride was informative, and the ride back (with car karaoke) was delightful. I do wish we had a bit more time at Garden of the Gods.Written October 3, 2024
- R9414BCgrahama0 contributionsGreat tour guide RicoWe had a wonderful day visiting the Rocky Mountain Park with Rico, his knowledge of the Park and Colorado was exceptional. We saw Elk, Deer, trout and lots of other native animals. Rico was inclusive of everyone and ensured we all had a fabulous day. We would recommend the tour to anyone.Written October 3, 2024
- Doc7100 contributionsPoor serviceThe train was great. The summit house was terrible. The café closed minutes after our train arrived. The staff closed the restrooms a half hour before our train left.Written October 3, 2024
- J7755KTanng0 contributionsGreat guided tour! Our tour guide, Jerry, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. We enjoyed the small group size where we could share experiences with other travelers as well. The pace was comfortable as was the ride. I wish we had more time to walk around and explore areas of the park.Written October 2, 2024
- R4399HOmichaels0 contributionsAwesome Experience with AaronWe had the absolute pleasure of having Aaron as our tour guide on the Rocky Mountain Aspire tour, and it truly made the experience unforgettable! From start to finish, Aaron’s passion for the outdoors and deep knowledge of the area were apparent. He effortlessly combined fascinating insights about the landscape, wildlife, and history with a warm, friendly demeanor that made everyone in the group feel at ease. Aaron went above and beyond to ensure that each person, regardless of skill level or experience, felt comfortable and engaged. His enthusiasm was contagious, making the stunning views and the hike even more enjoyable. Whether we were pausing to take in the breathtaking scenery or learning about the unique ecosystem of the Rockies, Aaron’s expertise and energy added immense value to the trip. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure with a guide who truly loves what he does and cares about his guests’ experience, Aaron is your guy. Highly recommend him and the Rocky Mountain Aspire tour!Written October 2, 2024
- gpbondi0 contributionsFantastic tour of Rocky Mountain National Park! What an amazing experience! Cannot say enough about our tour guide, Jerry. He was sweet, knowledgeable, friendly, and just a pleasure to be around. The bus ride was comfortable and Jerry made it fun. We saw elk and deer along the way. It was truly a perfect day and I highly recommend it. It is an appropriate tour for (almost) all ages keeping in mind we hit an altitude of 12,000 feet and spent a lot of time in a bus on winding roads. Also, Jerry gave us amazing cookies!Written October 2, 2024
- T2054QVvictorw0 contributionsPikes Peak Cog railway & Garden of the Gods... WOW!Gable was a wonderful tour guide for this tour that visited the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak via cog railway. He added great dialogue & facts throughout the journey and was very helpful to our entire group. However the STARS of the trip were both locations we toured. The vistas, scenery were breathtaking. This is a excursion that well worth the value and the memories.Written October 1, 2024

As a passenger in the front seat on the mentioned trip titled Driver Rant, I was apparently the one that handled the driver’s backpack. I do have to say that the treatment of it was not “rough” as he stated in his rant at the passengers. The couple behind him both dropped their cell phones. The husband (in the middle) was first and at that time I did lift one end of the backpack and then the other to see if his phone had ended up under it. I should have asked him first and regret that I didn’t. His concern was apparently that the contents were “valuable,” so that maybe understandable that he yelled about it later.
As far as the rest of his concerns I know that no one yelled at him but to him from the back of the van. There was no punching in his back from the woman behind him. She did probably bump into the back of his seat while looking for her phone. According to his rant, he also thought that she was freaking out over it. I did not think anyone was freaking out.
I can also say that at the start of the trip, I found him to be very pleasant and accommodating. As the ride continued, I think he got frustrated because he got turned around at times while driving. As we stopped at the last place, I could tell something was wrong and I asked him if he was alright. He said no and told me multiple things that he felt the passengers had done or said to him. I tried to calm him down as did another guy. I know it was frustrating for him when people were not back at the van on time. We were not always sure of the time to return since he did not tell us at every stop.
As for the music choices, he had a particular taste in music and that was what he played. This was not what some of the passengers wanted to hear. They wanted more of party style music after they had been drinking. At that point, he cranked up his music to full blast for a couple of minutes.
I don’t know about anything else. I can tell you that after the 3rd round of his venting – while driving on the Interstate – I was in tears in the front passenger’s seat. I was very scared that we may end up in a crash. I tried twice to get him to take a breath and gave up once the 3rd round started. I talked to him when we were back at the hotel about not taking things personal and that people will get loud on a drinking tour. I feel like there was something else going on with him that preceded our trip. Respectfully Lynn S.

Hi Lynn,
We're very sorry that this incident occurred at all, and more importantly that it negatively impacted your image of Aspire Tours. We wish to bring our guests the best memories while in Colorado, and unfortunately this tour had an unplanned incident. We assure you that we have taken this incident very seriously, and have since removed this guide from running our Brews & Views tours after personally apologizing to each of our guests. We appreciate this feedback to better understand the incident, and at this point hope you have trust in us to handle this matter internally. If you were to give us another chance, we're confident you would have a memorable and pleasant experience like our other reviews speak to.

Good Afternoon,
I was also on the trip mentioned by the last two reviewers. The accounts of the trip are completely accurate but very lenient. I contacted the company following the trip because I was in shock over the drivers behavior but didn’t want to write a review and speak negatively about this experience if it’s an isolated incident. I did receive a returned call and promised a follow up that never happened. My husband and I have taken numerous tours all over the world including wine, beer, food, etc. I have never experienced such disrespect and shocking behavior from a tour driver. He is clearly not suited for tourism. I was sitting on the third row and could hear everything from the front and back of the small bus. Along with all of the actions already mentioned, the driver said “this is why no one likes tourists “ and “if you disrespect me, then this is what you get in return “. The majority of the patrons were older and all were reserved. There was nothing that should have triggered this behavior. No one was blatantly intoxicated and most of us barely had 1.5 beers because we made three stops with very limited time. I hope this is an isolated case and the company makes sure that it doesn’t happen in the future. I too was afraid he would crash the bus because he told us “this is a busy road and I’m trying to get you back” (in a not so calming tone).

Hello,
We’re sorry to hear that this isolated incident is still on your mind enough to leave a review a month later. Our team reached out to all guests from this single tour last month to apologize directly and better understand the incident. We also removed the guide from running these tours in the future. We take these incident reports very seriously and trust your story as being accurate to what happened, as we have seen from the past reviews. With this being an isolated incident, we hope our future guests don't get the wrong impression of our Brews & Views tours. We have other phenomenal, well-regarded and well-trusted guides who regularly run this tour and provide excellent service to our guests satisfaction. We appreciate your feedback and hope you understand our efforts in handling this situation.

The tour guide Mike was awesome and very knowledgable about the area. When we were driving from Pub to Pub he was a wealth of information. We would have loved to have him just drive us around and tell us the history of the area.
Our issue with this tour was that’s really all it was - three brew pub stops. The description read multiple stops so one would think there would be some scenic stops as well ieS “views”. That was not the case. Although the beer choices were excellent and again Mike was very knowledgeable in local beer, etc we would have preferred some scenic stops as well. A beer at three local brew pubs - that was the sum of this tour.

Great experience! Dylan was a fantastic guide and took us to three different breweries, including one in Idaho Springs. They were all places that we wouldn't have otherwise visited, so it was great to have that local touch. The bus ride was convenient and Dylan was sure to point out food / bio break availability wherever available.

Our brews and views tour was amazing! My husband and I love beer so we had a great time traveling around with a group to more of the local spots that you might not think to go to. Our tour guide Aaron was the best. He is so knowledgable about beer, all the best spots in Denver and Colorado history. We had a lot of fun traveling around with him.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Ryan from Aspire Tours who took us on a private Brews and Views tour. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the area, was fun and professional, and made it a memorable day. The van was comfortable, clean and Ryan was a safe driver. I would strongly recommend Aspire Tours and to request Ryan.

This was a really fun experience. We took this tour as locals from Denver, but we still learned a lot of new things and visited places we’ve never been. Our tour guide, Jed, was very awesome and knowledgeable. We would definitely book this tour again when we have out of state friends or family visiting. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend are out in Colorado from the 22nd to the 28th of January. We were interested in doing this tour as we will be in Denver specifically the 26th - 28th. It looks like the calendar is locked and only is available on 12/18. Are there other dates available.?
