Rocky Mountain National Park
Outstanding tour, fantastic experience. We saw many elk. The views were spectacular.
Jed, our guide was exceptional. His knowledge of ecology, biology and geology was PhD level. He was personable, friendly, courteous and respectful. He also had a wicked sense of humor.
We've traveled all over the world and he was one of the best.
Highly recommend this tour!

Perfect tour

Absolutely AMAZING tour. I don't even know where to start. I signed up for the Rocky Mountain National Park 8 hour tour. We weren't rushed, saw things beyond beautiful and met amazing people. Our tour guide, Ryan, was the best tour guide imaginable. He described things we saw, answered questions and truly loves what he does - it's obvious. We had a varied group with us from all around the country. Some in groups, couples and solo travelers. They catered to ALL. On another note, lunch was included in the trip, I'm vegetarian. Couldn't believe they actually provided me a delicious vegetarian lunch. As my diet is different, I tend to fend for myself. Nope - they took care of all of us. Highly recommended, the other guides seemed awesome too (we ended up on 3 vans as it was a big tour). But if I take another tour I'll request Ryan again. 5☆ ratings all around company. Oh forgot to mention, I had booked a shorter tour and it was too late to change according to the website. I called and the woman overrode it so I could book the longer. Grateful for that too!!

Had a really enjoyable experience on this tour! I was traveling solo and was very lucky to be a part of a lovely group of people. Ryan, our tour guide, was especially warm, friendly and super knowledgeable. It was great to be able to see so much of Rocky Mountain National Park and view/learn about sights to and from. Everything was taken care of from beginning to end, would definitely recommend this trip!

Amazing! Ryan was a great tour guide and I’m pretty sure we had the best group ever. Saw some great wildlife, too!
Our tour guide, Ryan, was very knowledgeable, personable and fun to be around. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to see more of Rocky Mountain National Park than you would just driving yourself. It’s also nice not to have to deal with the hassle of trying to gain entrance via the weird “lottery” system of trying to buy a pass if you’ve scheduled a last minute trip to the area as we did. Overall, we were very happy with our tour!

A little of everything!
Simply amazing! This is the perfect Scenic Tour! I’d had some surgery which made hiking impossible and too much walking uncomfortable. Yet, everyone wants to visit RMNP and have an overview of what it has to offer! This was the perfect tour. Our guide, Mike, was/is awesome!
We departed from Boulder. The pickup spot was easy to get to and parking was free. Our shuttle had a group of 9. There were two other shuttles with the tour. This made it easier to individualize for each shuttle group. Mike gathered us for an overview of the tour and provide safety protocols. By 10am, our adventure began.

The amount of knowledge Mike provided was encyclopedic! I live in Colorado and he knew a plethora of facts and details even residents would find new and interesting. Our group consisted of tourists from Seattle, Ohio, Texas and Indianapolis. I was with my sister from Indy.

During our drive to the park, Mike engaged with us. He pointed out this & that about the towns and habitat along the way. Since Colorado had sustained such devastating fires last summer, he could detail the effects on the landscape, etc. Each group member was able to express their main hope for the tour and things they were particularly interested in.
We stopped in Lyons for a quick bathroom break and available snacks to purchase. We drove up to The Stanley Hotel for a short view and history. Then we went through the entrance of RMNP and Mike knew the best one to use, as there wasn’t a line.
We stopped at a Visitor Center/Souvenir Shop for a bathroom break and brief look-see. Mike could tell rain was coming and wanted to get us to our lunch while the weather was still nice. The tour provided nice, large sandwiches and chips, plus bottled water. If you wanted to walk up an easy, paved trail to a pretty waterfall you could. Mike gave a short, informative talk about the trees and animals around the lunch site.
Mike decided to take us straight up to the highest scenic area available by car first, and stop for the others on our way back down. This proved to be the perfect plan due to the weather heading in.
The top spot was gorgeous and Windy! This is why you bring a layer! We could see hanging lakes and gorgeous mountains. As we descended, we observed the rain in the distance, which was cool to see, and was headed our way. We were treated to great scenic viewing spots and for the most part, kept ahead of the rain as we descended. We experienced warm, sunny weather; some fall foliage; rain and a little snow during our tour.
The wildlife was in full force that day. Although sheep, marmots and others eluded us, we saw a lot of Elk. From a couple here, a full herd there, we were lucky to observe a massive bull and his herd up close.
There are outdoor bathroom facilities at every main scenic viewing spot. Wearing a mask helped with the “outhouse” aromas. They were decently clean and much better than “trail camping choices - haha”
We stopped again before leaving the park at a different visitor center/restroom area. Before leaving, Mike made sure all of us we satisfied with what we saw and had any other wishes to check off our list in which he could provide (he can’t control what animals will be available to see) but can show you some fawna and flora.

The drive back to Boulder was easy and relaxed. Personal stories, anecdotes and fun in which you could participate or not.
This was a great, relaxed and comfortable tour. Tennis shoes were absolutely fine. It was a great, stress-free day of exploration.

As more family and friends come to visit, I will use this tour again.

Perfect day in the Rockies
Sep 2021 • Couples
We had a wonderful time seeing the Rocky Mt National Park! Check in from Boulder was super easy, and we got to Estes Park in no time. Our guide Phillip was excellent and very knowledge about the area including everything on the way to the park.

We stopped at Hidden Valley for lunch before travelling up over 2 miles to see the tundra, which was very beautiful. We stopped at several spots along the way for pictures and breaks.

All in all, it was a really great day trip and opportunity to see the park with someone who felt like a friend showing us all the best spots!

The best Rocky Mountain group tour
I had the pleasure of going on a group tour with Mike, our wonderful and friendly tour guide. Mike shared facts and fun stories with us throughout the entire trip which made it even more fun. Overall it was a very knowledgeable and engaging tour. We had the opportunity to make frequent stops for bathroom breaks and for taking pictures. I cannot express how glad I am to have gone on this tour with Aspire and Mike. Thank you again! I hope to return to do another tour with them.
