We ttok an early flight from Dallas to Denver so that we can take the tour. They asked us to meet the tour guide at the steps of City Council at 2 PM on Sunday , 18th of June. We arrived at the pickup spot but nobody was there. There was a quincenerra photoshoot going on and we asked them, they also confirmed that they have not seen anybody. This is a shame. I am still waiting for the refund. Everytime I call Viator they say that they will wait for 24 hours to get a response from the local authority.

      Horrible experience
No one showed up to the meeting spot. I attempted to contact the tour operator and it stated the call couldn't go through. We waited until about 6:15 pm.

      Don’t Miss This
We had wandered up the 16th Street Mall and were rather unimpressed. Our expectations for this tour probably matched that mall walk Well was I ever wrong!! The history of Denver, even with a whiskey slant, was well shared The side streets were a great view of Denver. As a tourist I would have missed so much if we hadn’t signed up for this experience

      Worst vacation experience
I would NEVER recommend this tour. We stood in the exact point where the email from the tour company stated. No one ever showed up, no email or phone call canceling our tour. I called the tour phone number more than 10x, left voicemail messages and texted the number suggested in the voice mail. I never received any communication from them In return. I prepaid for two people, I am fighting the charges with my bank. We even went to the distillery that the tour was supposed to end at and the manager said NO tour was scheduled/reserved an area to be there! We spend $25x2 just to get to and from the tour meet up spot. What a waste of money. Worst vacation experience!

      Walking whiskey tour
We did the walking history and whiskey tour. Our “kids” are mid 20’s. We had a blast! Learned a lot and met some really cool people. And the whiskey was great! Definitely doing another tour.

      Very disappointed
I can't believe its been 16 months since you took my money and you are still sending these feedback requests. I assume no one can see them as you do not seem to be concerned with customer service or experience. I purchased your walking whiskey tour for myself and my wife. We were very excited. We found out two weeks before the date that my wife was pregnant. I messaged your organization to try to slide the dates back as I mentioned, we were excited. I was told the roster was set in stone, no refunds no changes. We decided to have the baby and not the tour. Enjoy MY money. I feel I made the correct choice. I will continue to tell everyone I can about this experience.

      Team building outing
Our office team took the History and Whiskey tour with Rick as our guide. We began at the gorgeous Union Station with some history on lower downtown Denver. Next stop was the Oxford Hotel which has been newly remodeled with a hodgepodge of design elements that don’t work well together. Too bad, it’s such an important part of Denver history. The new owners of the Cruiseroom and the restaurant have gutted many of the prior historical elements. Moving on to a visit to Rockmount Ranchware and a chance to do a little retail therapy. Great place, great history. Then on to El Chapultepec for their iconic cocktail the Grasshopper. Tequila, creme de me the and a dried grasshopper. A true classic Denver jazz joint. Finally a stop at Mile High Spirits On Lawrence St. for a professional whiskey tasting. Fireside is good stuff and Rick is clearly passionate about sharing his knowledge on bourbon. They also serve a nice Moscow Mule. Remember to have a responsible designated driver for your group.

      Great Bachelor Party Bus!
We rented the Whisky Wagon for a roving bachelor party. We went from Arvada to Centennial to Westminster and back to Arvada for about 6 hours. Rick chauffeured us around in fine style. It was a great way for the guys who were just meeting to converse and bond a little. The ride was very comfortable, the temperature was great and the seating was more like sitting in your man-cave than in a bus. Couches and benches with plenty of places to set things. It also convenient that we did not have to take our backpacks, etc in and out of the various venues, we just left them on the bus. We had no waiting, Rick was right there at the front door when we were ready to move on. He is a really friendly guy too; he really made the day enjoyable. I highly recommend this for your bachelor or any other party transportation.

      Great tour
We had a very fun day. I invited out of town guests and I wanted to do something different. We took the bus and that was a treat as well.

      Lovely afternoon!
Great experience. Small group. Rick was friendly and knowledgeable and laid back. We enjoyed the history and behind the scenes tour of Mile High Spirits - they were so nice and we got to meet the head distiller while we were there! Would definitely recommend this tour! We learned lots of fun history about Denver.

We did a whiskey wagon tour for my husband’s birthday. The place and people were great, very informative and generous on pours of drinks. We did tour first, then wagon took us to a place to eat and was supposed to pick us up and take us to a different distillery. Which did not happen since the wagon driver was stuck with a different group of people. But that was not a big deal, since it was a short walk (but rainy). After the second stop that same wagon was supposed to take us back to Mike high Spirits, where we started. But the guide said that she’s not coming for whatever reason. Which again, was not a big deal for us since we were ubering, but still, we did not expect to be ditched like that. I feel like if you advertise the tour certain way, you should follow through and meet customers’ expectations. I understand that things happen, and that might have been just that one hiccup for them. But I got the feeling that it might be their strategy, since most people are drunk by the end of the tour and don’t really care. Also, the description mentioned drinks snacks and games on the wagon - none of that happen.

Eclectic mixture of Denver history and whiskey tasting
My friends and I did the Denver History and Whiskey Tour. Great walking tour that begins at Union Station and makes stops at the The Oxford Hotel, El Chapultepec (historic jazz club), Rockmount Ranch Wear and Mile High Spirits. The tour was a great combination of the history of each of these unique locations along with whiskey tasting at the end. You have time to shop at Rockmount if you're interested and I was able to pick up a western shirt which I had always wanted to do. They're the premiere outfitter of the entertainment industry for western wear and are the originators of the saw tooth pocket design and pearl snap shirt buttons. The tasting was great, we learned how to properly taste whiskey and other spirits and got to sample all their bottling, which include rum, gin, vodka and tequila in addition to whiskey. We also got to sample some distiller cuts that weren't for sale. The pours were generous, no one went home short changed for sure. If you want to purchase bottles they're available for sale and reasonably priced, even more so with the tour discount. Rick our guide was great, very knowledgeable in Denver history, whiskeys and distilling in general. He was funny and kept things lively. It was a good walk, so you get some exercise mixed in, but certainly nothing beyond the capabilities of any reasonably healthy person. Thumbs up from me.

      Denver Distillery Tour
This is a very informative tour. This was the 2nd time we had done it, and it was different from the 1st. On the 1st we visited at least 3 distilleries, and got information from all 3. This time we went to the Booze place in RINO, and sat a the bars of the two distilleries. I did not find this as interesting as going to the actual distilleries, where we got a lot more information, and were able to see the different setups. Still good though.

      History and Whiskey Tour
Fun day. Would have like a little more history of Denver. Pointing our different buildings and what they were used for back in the day. More about key people in Denver history related to trains, banks, developers, etc. The pioneers. Rick was very nice, fun to be with. Mile High Spirits was good. So glad we got to go in the back room and see operation, plus it was much quieter back there. Loved the Gin we tasted along with the whiskey.
