- 417slavaa0 contributionsOne of the best zipline toursWe've taken the combo zip line tour and it was great! I've seen pictures and videos online and had high expectations for this course, and my expectations were surpassed. First, the course is incredibly beautiful. Second, our guides Kaley and Cole were exceptionally good. It was first time zip-lining for us and I have a fear of heights, my wife has a fear of speed :-), and yet, Kaley and Cole made our experience very smooth. They patiently introduced us to the basic techniques, prepared us for what to expect, and provided support and encouragement throughout the courses. Overall the whole crew went above and beyond to meet our needs. After this first time, I can say I love zip-lining, but choosing a course will be tough from now on, because going to anything less good than what've experienced will be disappointing. The Woods and Fins course are definitely worth the money and I certainly would recommend the combo course as a money saving option.Written September 17, 2024
- katec7840 contributionsUp close with hawks and falconsWhat an amazing experience. My 16 year old granddaughter and I attended the Falconry class. Roger, the falconer, was great, telling the history of falconry, explaining lots and answering our question about the birds. So cool to see hawks, falcons and owls up close. Going to the "flying field" was so educational too and watching the birds fly free and then come when called for a dinner treat. Highly recommended.Written September 11, 2024

I did it on my 70th birthday and Broadmoor Outfitters took wonderful care of us. Our two guides Aubry and Rome were the very best and so encouraging! They took pictures for us, never rushed us, put safety first, knew every mile of the trip and guided us through effortlessly. I highly recommend this company and this trip. It was a blast!! Dress in layers. My husband brought a gel seat cover for his bike seat and was glad he did.Written September 7, 2024

- LoveTravel6286520 contributionsPikes Peak Cog Up Bike Down experience - 5 stars!!What an amazing experience!!! Delaney, Michael, and Eric are THE BEST guides ever. We felt extremely safe (heaps of safety equipment) and they explained everything in great detail. I hadn't been on a bike in 20+ years except for an e-bike tour at Garden of the Gods the day before. There's a lead bike, trailing bike, and van behind the bikers to keep traffic away & everyone safe. There were plenty of stops at the beginning of the ride and they provided plenty of water and snacks for the ride down from the summit. I was actually bummed when we stopped at the end and they told us the ride was finished. The guides also provided great recommendations for local attractions/restaurants in the area (as a golfer, loved Patty Jewett for lunch after biking and the Skirted Heifer for burgers that night...thanks Eric!!) The Cog Up trip was exciting too with the narration from the "conductor".Written September 3, 2024

- 726sethf0 contributionsNot that neatThe Woods course is only five zips and drops you at the top of seven falls. What we thought might be a nice hike down turned into an absolute tourist trap. We’ve zipped other places and found this course disappointing and expensive.Written September 3, 2024

I did so much research on what company to book a zip line tour with, and the Broadmoor is the only option!!! I promise y’all. It was worth EVERY penny. What a fun experience. The views were amazing, the tour guides were hilarious, and we had such a fun day!!!!! The 5 zip lines were awesome. The first 2 were kinda a warm up, and then the next 2 were faster and longer, and the final zipline will make your heart beat! The 2 rope bridges that you get to cross are SO FUN! The views are incredible and so exciting. The final part of the trip you get to repel down INTO the Seven Falls and explore at your leisure, then they bus you back to the Broadmoor! Thank y’all so much for such a fun day we will never forget.

My family of 5 from Tampa, Florida came to visit my brother and family that lives in Divide. We picked Broadmoor for zip lining after much research. It was a little pricier than the others options, but OH MY, was it worth it! Out of three zip lining experiences in my life...THIS surpassed them all. Everything was timely, and done with precision. Jake drove us up the mountain, and dropped us off at what felt like a random location, where comedian Carl took over and led us on a scenic hike to the starting point! Carl and Luke were absolutely fantastic guides that not only kept us safe, but kept us laughing! The fins course was perfect, as it started with moderate zip lines through the trees (that got us comfortable with everything) and then ultimately took us to the pinnacle of day! Two suspension bridges, two outrageous zip lines with striking views. And to top it all off, we got to rappel off the last podium into the Seven Falls park to end our adventure. This was a fabulous way to end our time in Colorado!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a thrill or to overcome fears! A great way to bond with family and friends.

This was an amazing tour. I have been on 5 Zip line tours in various places...Hawaii, Arizona, and Cabo. This was by far the most adventurous! The Bridges added to the intensity of the excursion. They were scarier than the lines!! The guides were fantastic very knowledgeable and professional. A thunderstorm came through while members of our group were on the bridge. They calmly had them return to the bridge entrance so we could all seek shelter. They had a deck like bunker where we could all hang out until it passed. Once it did, we were on our way again to complete the course. The repel at the end was a great way to finish. It was one adventurous experience after another! I highly recommend this to anyone who has an adventurous spirit or who is looking to conquer fears. Justin, Sky, Christian, & Corin, were fantastic!!

I surprised my mom with the Fins Course Zipline Tour on the morning of 8/30. Neither of us have ziplined before and figured might as well just go in head first. The drive up the mountain was definitely a bit white-knuckled for me, but the driver and fellow employee were relaxed and funny.
Once we were dropped off, we met our guides, Oliver and Riley who were extremely informative, patient and funny. They take all the pressure off of you and are exactly the type of people you'd want to trust with an activity that does have some inherent risk. You can also tell the guides are friends amongst themselves and have great comradery.
However, the way the course is structured, by building your confidence up to the extreme ziplines and the bridges, and then ending with the assisted repel was perfect. Not to mention the million dollar views. It really does make you feel like a speck (in a good way).
I would recommend this to absolutely anyone that asked and even those that didn't. Thanks again!!

This experience was incredible. It would be incredible for anyone, but our guides really made it an 11 out of 10. Skye was extremely engaged the entire tour which was very calming, and her dad jokes never tempted me to stifle the chuckle. Ken was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable while still making us all feel safe. I could not have scripted a better trip. There are not enough stars to accurately rank our trip. We will be back and I cannot wait. Thank you!!!!

Our zip line experience was just outstanding because of our guides Oliver and Sam! Their youthful energy, skill, and comic relief were absolutely essential to ensuring our safety at all times and calming our nerves while providing historical anecdotes and spatial perspectives about the dynamics of our challenging yet thrilling first-time zip line experience. It seemed like we were "inside" the mountains; an uncommon adventure that offered stunning views of the gorgeous landscape. We walked away feeling like we had been tested, took a risk, and fulfilled a "bucket list" aspiration.
If you want to "Fly Like a Bird", this is the gig for you!
From a beginner's perspective, it was difficult to sometimes see the guide's signals. A red flag would have been more visible especially for folks with vision issues. Also, the step stools could have been anchored to the platforms for stability in launching.
Sincere thanks from Irma, Diana, and Karen

I have done a couple of zip line courses in various places on vacations etc. This one stands out above the rest. It was a cool zip line course. It was even better views. Our group of 4 went out with Ollie and Neil and they were both great. Did a good job of walking us through the various safety instructions without scaring us and then telling us about what we were seeing as you get out into the course. They help you get your gear on so you know it is safe, have a few practice lines, and then slowly build you up to the good stuff.
The good stuff, is real good. 4-5 long zip lines, with spectacular views, a couple of suspension bridges and platforms that feel like they defy gravity. The views are incredible, all of Colorado springs (and well beyond) as well as the whole canyon area. The lines are clearly designed to enhance the overall effect of the landscape. This was the perfect mix of adventure, adrenaline (you can get up to 45-50 mph over 1500-1800 ft long lines), and sweeping vista. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

Our family had the most AMAZING experience on the Broadmoor Soaring Adventure Fins Course. Not only was the actual course incredible, but Scott and Allie couldn’t have done a better job of guiding us through the course, giving instruction when needed, sharing the history of the area, ensuring our safety and telling the worst jokes I’ve heard in awhile (Thanks, Scott!) We’ve also been ziplining in the Belize jungle, but our experience with Scott and Allie absolutely surpassed it. Thanks again!!

Had a fantastic time being guided on zip lines and suspension bridges with Matt & Carl. They took 100% control of ensuring our safety, and kept things light as we moved from platform to platform. A little bit of history was added in, too, as we had many great views of Broadmoor sites + downtown Colorado Springs. This is something for a "must-do" itinerary!

WOW, what a phenomenal zipline and day. This was my first zipline course and it completely exceeded my expectations for thrills and excitement.
I did the Fins Course and our guides were Nick and Matt who were terrific. Although we had to put up with their corny jokes ;-), they were both experienced, skilled, and highly safety conscious. In addition, they were both able to immediately switch from funny and silly to quiet and supportive with anyone in the group who was feeling a bit nervous. And, there were definitely times to be nervous on this course. That being said, I always felt confident in our safety and was able to thoroughly enjoy the experience. I recommend it to any and all thrill seekers.
I will definitely be doing it again the next time I am at The Broadmoor.

Hello;
What if I do not want to rappel ?? I am deathly afraid of the entire idea of rappelling. Is there another way down for people that do not do this event.
Claude
Written July 18, 2019
It's not really a rappel. They clip you on, and you just lean off the platform until you're clear. It sort of auto-lowers you to the ground from there (about 50'). It was the least terrifying part of the whole course (I'm terrified of heights).
Written July 19, 2019
What is the weight limit? So that I can make sure everyone on my trip can go on.

weather wise, what would be appropriate attire planning on weekend of 11/10 or 11/11 - still in shorts and flip flops here in FL
Written November 2, 2018
I would suggest wearing some type of outdoor pants or jeans with a long sleeved shirt and light jacket. Even though your adrenaline will be pumping, there will be times you are standing still on a platform for a bit, so it could get chilly for sure. You’ll have zip gloves on, which will help keep your hands warm if it’s a colder day. The experience is so awesome that you probably won’t even notice the weather!
Written November 2, 2018
We are interested in booking this activity but have a few questions. Can you tell me what happens if one of the members in the party gets uncomfortable with the heights part way through the course? Is there a map of the course? How do you get to each zipline station, is it all on foot?
Thanks
Written July 16, 2018
I did not go on the course but my son showed me some of the platforms. It would seem that at some platforms you could exit, but I can't say for sure. I would recommend you call them directly and discuss your concerns.
There's not much walking between zipline other than on the suspension bridges. Otherwise it's mostly platform to platform.
The Fins course is NOT for the faint of heart and it is expensive. Perhaps the Woods course or take a pass.
I walked through the canyon while my son did the course because I knew for sure it was not for me.
